Atomizers typically last 2-6 weeks. Some less, some much more.

An atomizer is two pieces. You have the atomizer and the cartridge. The cartridge (mouth piece) has some filler in it and it holds the eliquid. The cartridge is inserted into the attomizer and feeds the eliquid to the atomizer. You can also use a drip tip instead of the cartridge. A drip tip is a mouth piece with a wide hole through it. You drip you eliquid through the hold directly into the atomizer. Usually 2-3 drops will get you 5-10 good hits. This is called direct dripping.

A cartomizer is one piece. It has a coil inside that is surrounded by a filler material. You can put 25-30 drops in it and it will last you a while before you need to add more eliquid.




For higher voltage you would need a different ecig (called a mod) that is capable of high voltage. If you're interested in high voltage, then I would suggest going with the Joye eGo instead of the standard 510. The eGo has bigger batteries so you can use a low resistance (LR) atomizer on it. The LR atty will burn hotter/faster and create more vapor, which will give you a bigger throat hit. The LR atty simulated high voltage vaping, but without having to buy a high voltage unit.

Something that might help...using the e-cig is a bit different than smoking. With vaping you should take a long, slow, deep drag instead of the quicker drag you'd take with an analog. Let the vape fill your mouth before inhaling, then inhale and exhale. I take at least a 5 second drag before stopping. Most of the time anymore it's even longer. When first starting to vape it's harder to take that long of a drag, but do it as long as you can. That might help.

My first begotten battery (can't tell if she's Joye or Ego, as they look so much alike) passed tonight. It wasn't totally unexpected as she had not been feeling well as of late. Weird charging light blinks...sub-par performance (which for her was odd because she always gave it 110% ), not holding a charge..etc...

Although not unexpected, it doesn't make the loss any less painful.

A "battopsy" is scheduled for tomorrow and the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, that the entire vaping community sends juice. Lots of juice. 10 mls. would probably be o.k. but considering what a great old batt. she was, I'm sure you will probably want to send quantities in the range of 30-40-50+.

On a happier side note, when I informed her cousin Riva about Joyes/Egos passing, she made plans to come visit next week...and bring her twin also. Family ROCKS!

However, I agree with mcquinn - the prices are pretty high. Since it looks like your kit only came with one battery and one atty, you will need to be looking for an upgrade soon. You always want to make sure you have extra batteries and atomizers on hand. You may want to check out some other suppliers and models.

Hi john, your Greensmoke is an KR808. Gammucci has a couple of different models. The V2 & Classic. The V2 appears to be a M401 & the Classic appears to be a 801.

Gotta love those thin mints, huh? They are great frozen and eaten while drinking coffee, too. Worth a bit of suffering through some heartburn for me. After all, they don't last long and only come around once a year.

I guess if heartburn is a symptom of quitting smoking, I wouldn't have noticed since I had it before. I never did get nose bleeds though. Of course I didn't go through the coughing junk up out of my lungs that so many others went through either. I just got all the good stuff - like being able to breathe again...that's nice.

Been wondering that myself as I've started seeing the "D" more often. Maybe it's "disposable"? I've only seen it on cartomizers, not attomizers.

I hope they like them. I'm pretty sure they will. I bought one just to check it out for myself in comparsion to my eGO and i'm very pleased. I"m going to pick up a couple more for gifting.

I haven't heard that one, but I don't know. I had it before vaping and still have it, so at least I know vaping didn't cure it for me. Anything with sugar will set off heartburn for me - which is really bad because we have some girl scout cookies in the house and the heartburn is going full blast right now.

I also suspect it causes globlular warming and prevents world peace.Just living near or spending too much time on a freeway would expose you to those risks as well we better ban freeways.I wouldn't want to go back to smoking but I don't see how it is not for people to decide what risks they take.Seat belts,crash helmets sensible diet,extreme sports all fall under the same category as far as I am concerned.

Be careful with that stuff. I have some 100mg but haven't used any of it yet. I had quite a bit of 48mg from Myfreedomsmokes.com and it's been great. Almost out of it now. Anyhow, when I break into the 100mg, I will mix it all down to 48mg in one sitting. Don't want to keep handling 100mg nic every time I mix. Be careful and safe with that stuff - it is dangerous.

I am with the folks who say we do have the responsibility to take advantage of the learning moment. Let's be honest, if you are outside the world of vaping you will no doubt think someone in the corner vaping is smoking. So its an opportunity to educate someone about the difference and what a difference they can make in someones life.

I also would also speak to the the manager in charge first. I am in the fortunate position in Florida of preferring to sit outside on the patio anyway - at least at this time of year, come August who know? I do frequent my local starbucks and they know me well so I will at some point speak to them and get explicit permission first. I also think it's a good idea to choose your juice carefully - as noted some juices do have a very strong smell, as I type this I am vaping a very strong smelling black cherry. If I were to vape in a starbucks I think I would bring a coffee flavor so it blends with the smells that loft around the starbucks as part of the everyday starbucks experience, who could claim they smell my coffee vape over the smell of the business itself!

I go to a local pub quite often - go figure - and have had a long conversation with the owners about this. They are happy to allow me and others to vape on the outside patio and at the inside bar, but would prefer not in the dining area. His argument is he wants to accommodate all and provide a comfortable experience for all. Their thinking around the dining room is since there is such a knowledge gap right now it's likely to bother some - admittedly due to lack of knowledge, but he does not want to lose business over it - I think his solution is a fair happy middle ground and I applaud his openness to a mutual solution.

Lets be honest, this is our thing, and for years now the anti-smoking crowd has pushed the line - if you can smell it its killing you. So if we want vaping to be socially acceptable we need to honest that to the uninformed person it looks like we are smoking, take a few moments and try to educate a person about the very real difference, and most people will be open to it - its also likely that you might just give some information to someone who knows someone who smokes and they might pass long the information they gain about vaping to that smoker, perhaps changing their life! That did happen to me this past weekend and I just heard last night that person passed along the information and the person ordered and eGO.

My first big mod? A BSB (black silver bullet). Black for lack of fingerprints. SB for the awesome craftsmanship, button and battery. I needed a standard buy anywhere rechargale 18650 type battery. (20 hr battery, with about 12-14 of it great vaping). Outstanding battery life at that time, and I live off-grid, so that was my motivating factor.
(as well as the eGo which was the first longest lasting battery). Now days there's the Tekk Mod, Shockwave, Helix, etc.. with days and days of battery life. (4-5) and even solar ones...

My 2d mod? An affordable bottom fed juice box. I knew I wanted a fancy smancy expensive one, but had no clue if I would be happy with one... so I bought a tiny and affordable one. and Yes! I now will get a fancy Ali'i as soon as I am able to. (I wish Mark would come up with a curvy bottom feeder). With the JB, I no longer have to contend with carto's and stuff unless I want to, which I do, because I also still keep my eGo rigged up as well.

Long example... but I hope you get an idea of the types that are enticing us at every turn of the history page.

I believe it is our responsibility as a vaping community to educate others. I do not believe we can expect that non-vapors are going to research e-cigs. Yes they may be ignorant and uninformed about vaping, just as many of us are ignorant on topics that dont interest or affect us. It is true that vaping and smoking are different, but perception is some peoples reality. To most people vaping = smoking. As a vaping community we dont have millions of dollars for an all out PR campaign on the benefits of vaping and how it differs from smoking, but we can make a difference one person at a time.

Tasty Vapors doublers do not have nic in them. They are made so you can buy a bottle of say 24mg nic in whatever flavor you choose, then you can buy the double in the same flavor and mix it how ever you want...say half and half...with the 24mg nic to get 12mg nic all in the same flavor. So that you don't lose flavor by lowering the nic. If you want some nic, you can buy some more of the same flavor nic juice from TV, and mix the two together. If you want 18mg nic, then order the 36 and mix it half and half. If you want 12mg, get the 24mg. Get it? It's really easy to do. It also makes it cheaper in the long run.
