I didnt actually get anything new but a buddy of mine asked me to pick out a kit for him and i got: 2x 1300 mAh Vision Spinners 2x Kanger EVOD tanks with replacement heads 1 Black carrying case 1 eGo Charger 1 eGo lanyard. i got it all for under $100. I think thats a great started kit!

I have learned from experience to go with Brian at the Veteran Vapor because is only sells the real deal and if you are unhappy for any reason he will work with you to correct it. I had bought a bunch of CE4s and CE5s from a "good deal site". They sent me all duds. Now that would never happen with Brian, but if it did he would send you 10 working ones. Can you tell, Brian is my hero.

Update.. Dad went from 2 packs a day down to a pack every two days. After smoking for 60 years I think that's pretty good.

He moved out of their house and filed for a restraining order the following day.

I rest my case. Actually some of it is pretty good and some not so good. A person just needs to try them all and decide what floats your boat. I would just not put all my eggs in one basket and run the risk of having nothing to vape until the mailperson delivers the next shipment.

im the same as joe. I can kill an 800mAh batt in about 3 hours and i go through 3-4ml of juice everyday.... unless im dripping... them im more in the neighborhood of say... 5-7ml lol!

Buncha lightweights lol I get at most 5 hrs. from a 650 twist and ~10 hrs. from my 1300 mah spinners. I go through 4-5 mls. of juice a day,sometimes more.

Mods feel free to move this to the review section if needed, but I thought I would post it here since its really not an e-cig review or a liquid review as much as a comparison, but if you think it belongs there please move it. First off I am a huge fan of Kanger products, and I like both of these a lot. As with anything in life, there are pros and cons of each. I am going to compare these on the basis of the following criteria: 1. Looks 2. Taste-Vapor production 3. Ease of use 4. Maintenance 5. Cost of ownership 1. Looks: I like the way both of these clearomizers look but easily prefer the look of the T3S over the T2. I give the advantage here to the T3S. It is clearly marked a KangerTech product with the logo and name on the unit where the T2s do not have this. I also like that it has a gauge for liquid level both upside down and right side up since you fill from the bottom on these. They both come in color, but I find the looks of the T3S more appealing. Advantage T3S. It has a very clean uniform fit and finish. The ONLY complaint I have about the looks is the mouthpiece is clear which looks cool when unused but after a few draws you can see the condensation in it. Its there in the T2 as well, but with a black mouthpiece you cannot see it. I have had to get used to this. 2. Taste and Vapor production: Here is another area I am conflicted. With the T3S the flavors taste the same from top to bottom for me so far after vaping at least a tank of my go-to flavors with them. I might have to give the T2 a slight taste advantage for the first 1/4 of the tank, but after that it drops off for me unless I swirl the wicks which I hate to do. I do not notice a huge difference in vapor production but it seems the T3S produces slightly more. As my wife pointed out, there is definitely more of a "throat hit" from the T2 but at this point I am happy to tame that down just a bit. There is not a huge difference in this category either, but would give a slight advantage to the T3S since I think it produces slightly more vapor and the fact that my flavors taste the same from full to empty with all my flavors. 3. Ease of use: The T2 wins this one hands down. It is virtually impossible to get liquid in the air holes and-or flood a T2 from my experience. They fill from the top, very easy to do with little mess.You can fill while still attached to the battery. With the T3S you have to turn it upside down, unscrew the bottom, either be very very careful or plug the hole with a Q-Tip, put the bottom back on, and then re-attach it to the battery. Both are very easy to change the coils, although the T3S has an advantage here as you can easily change coils with a full tank as I have already done a few times (I will get to this later). One thing to mention here is due to the design of the T3S it doesn't work well for me with a lanyard on stock Ego batteries. It is fine on my Spinners, they have plenty of space and threads, but on the smaller batteries it screws down too far and places the lanyard ring in a bind and sometimes creates a distance that it doesn't make contact and you have to mess with it to get it to fire. I have gone back to using my Spinners anytime I plan to use a lanyard when using my T3S. I cannot efficiently use my lanyard and my EgoT 1000mah or my Ego Mini 400mah because the ring blocks the coil from making contact with the battery. 4.Maintenance: This is also a category where I am torn. It may be too early in my use of the T3S to accurately talk about this, but of the 10 I ordered with 1.8ohm coils standard I have replaced all 10 with 2.2 ohm coils that I ordered. The coils that came standard started flooding one by one but after exchanging them the leaking is minimal, but still there. I never had anything like this happen with the T2s. So far, there is definitely more maintenance with the T3S than the T2 for me anyway. Every coil I have used leaks at least a little and when refilling there is a procedure of blowing out, swabbing down the air hole and mouthpiece. It reminds me of the Ce4s in this regard. Let me say this, its not terrible. There is not liquid running out the bottom of these, but to say they don't leak a little would be being dishonest in my reviews. The second part is how easy it is to change the coils. With the T2 I always took out the coil, soaked the tank and cap in alcohol for a day or two, then let it air dry and go back into the rotation. With the T3S you just turn it upside down and unscrew the bottom, unscrew the old coil, screw in a new one, swab out the air hole, and screw it back on. I think it is more efficient as long as the coils last similar time-frames. 5. Cost of use: This is where there is not a lot of difference on the surface but as time goes on I can see either one having the advantage here. Up front costs are similar, in the neighborhood of $5 with one coil. The coils for the T2 are $2 and for the T3S are $1.39 so there is a difference there but not huge given how long they should last. I believe the T3S in the long run will be more efficient. I cannot count how many half tanks of liquid I have poured out of my T2s when a coil blows. It seems to ruin the whole tank and even if not, most comes out when you try to pull soaked wicks out and replace with new ones. That's why I gave up on even trying this with the T2s. With the T3S if I blow a coil I can replace it and continue to use the liquid in the tank. You can also buy replacement bases with the T3S ($2.50) but cannot buy replacement lids for the T2 (That I am aware of) and I have had a couple of them get the threads messed up and this renders them "spare parts". Bottom line is I like both these units for different reasons. I am planning to continue using the T3S as my daily driver for now but will not ever be bummed out at all I have with me is a T2. They both are great delivery devices. I just love finally being able to vape a whole tank of liquid with no drop-off in flavor or taste without having to top them off all the time. For a total noob, I would probably recommend the T2 over the T3S due to the ease of filling and lack of maintenance. I would give a slight advantage overall to the T3S head to head with the T2 as long as you dont mind a little maintenance and an occasional leak. I know there are ways to fix them, add wicks, rebuild, etc... but that's not me. I want to buy something and it work and for me it does, but there are definitely minor leaking issues similar to but not as bad as my experience with CE4s. This is my first non-liquid review so please, be gentle lol.

I'm not gonna do a complete rundown on the UD AGI (unless someone has questions, of course), but I will say that in Genesis mode, this is my favorite RBA to date. It's not the easiest to set up (that honor goes to my AGA-T2), but it's not too difficult, and it does have the best draw and performance of any of my RBAs. I haven't set it up as an RDA because I don't like being unable to see how much juice is left inside the juicers I use, so I can't really speak to that. It looks easy enough to do however, and it is nice to know that if you're into dripping, you have that option. I'll be giving the AGI a good workout over the coming weeks, and will post the results, but for now, I'll just say that this is a great little genny. My Youde AGI on a KTS+ mech mod

I went to visit my dad today and he's been vaping a bit for two weeks or so. He's 72 and been a smoker for around 60 years so he's been weaning himself off of analogs. He bought a regular ego kit last year (batts, Atty, cartridge and cone). It lasted about 2 months and it wasn't working for him. He recently went to the Dr and got a clean bill of health except for the start of emphysema and high BP. So now he's all about it. This time he got an ego with CE5's kit and 100 mils of 0 nic juice. He's excited and can't wait to quit analogs. I'm so proud of him. He said he wants to be around another 20 years so he's go to do something to quit.

No they are all ready to vape. Here is a pic. I have found some flavors taste better on different batteries so usually I grab the whole unit out and just start vaping when I change flavors.

Right now I have 5 full clearos in my case and I have not had one leak since I stopped using CE4s. They stay full and are in my case, in my pocket, on my desk. Never should a clearo leak when filled just because it is laying sideways. I have a T2 and a T3S of my tobacco flavor in my case all week that never get touched until the weekend when I am drinking on the lake. In the picture I posted of my case every clearo is full. What I meant by this is the T2s seem to have a flavor drop off after about a half a tank so I topped them off every night at home and put them back in my case to use. With the T3S the taste is the same from the first draw till I have nothing but droplets in the bottom. Even though the T3S are harder to fill, the fact that I only have to do it every third day as opposed to every night more than make up the difference.

Sounds like my first couple weeks lol, and my wifes first month or so. It is different, you are not burning a combustible plant matter wrapped in paper and laced with chemicals. It is fairly pure. I will say I also started with 50-50 because I didnt know the difference, both my wife and I found our satisfaction at a 24mg level nic and a 70%pg-30%vg blend. I would go 80-20 if VapeDudes offered it. That's what I get from Sweet-Vapes and love that mixture.

Welcome to VaporTalk!!! For more power, you might want to try the eGo Twist or the Vision Spinner. These are loved even by those who have the Tim the Toolman Taylor type mods. Yet they are small, affordable, and great for dialing in to suit your particular flavor or mix. As you're contentedly vaping away at 4.2 instead of 3.3 volts, you'll be able to calmly (ROFLMAO!!! OK, this is not so true, because when the heart sees that mighty fine Mod, all heck breaks loose inside our spirits),.. but, for idealist sakes, you are set up nicely to research calmly for your next new Mod. Best of luck to ya Ain't it great how we go from "Having to have a smoke" to "Having to Have that MOD"!!! I love it!!!!

A lot of what you describe was my first week after stopping tobacco. I tried to go cold turkey and the cramps, gas, bloating, quesiness, and sick feelings were my detoxing I think. Also the nervousness and anxious almost paranoia. (I used to smoke cigars and inhaled so I was very high nic) Instaed of breathing better for that week it got worse and I went to my Dr. I told him what I was doing and he said to get a 7-11 e-cig to get the nic to ease my withdrawls. He offered patches but I didnt want those. After going thru maybe 10-15 njoy's I found this place. I have been helped tremendously and now am stable-ish! Go see your Dr. Read the posts and try some things. We will all help and so will I. Just dont go back to tobacco as it will kill you and your family. (and you could go thru this all over again) I havent been better very long but many here have years!

I had found an absolutely delicious juice. Strawnanna Smoothie from Nicquid. 70/30 12mg. I was vaping it up like a kid goes thru kool aid. Then I saw a post by someone mentioning pre-steeped juice. It turns out the place does what they call "ultrasonically steeping" before shipping new juice. So I went to look. ( greenmanejuice.com) I looked around and chose the two that were mentioned by the poster. I dont remember who that poster was but thank you! So I ordered the two mentioned. Just to try and see if this steeping made any difference. And that is now why I post this. I got two juices in the mail, Shamrock Shiver, and Druid's breath. 70/30 12mg. I tried the Shamrock and it is yummy right out of the mail. A lot like the McD shamrock shake with extra mint. Then I tried the Druids breath. Now the old stand by, the Strawnanna, tastes bland. The Druid's breath has taken over as my go-to juice. That is *not* what I wanted to happen! So far I have only found 3 juices I can stand and these three are it. Now one of them is "meh" to me. Has this ever happened to you and how can I punch up the bland one?

I would go with what you feel your going to enjoy more. At first the money kinda sucks but once you hit that sweet spot... it will start to become a return investment I personally like the idea of the EA over the SVD having read and watched the videos on the page.... it looks like it an insanely awesome mod right out of the box.

I would just politely pull over, open the door, put her on the curb, and drive away. I thought my wife was bad when we have to leave the lake earlier than 5 or 6 on Sunday after being out all weekend without touching dry ground. I feel lucky now lol.

Happens to all of us....Had a pear/peach that was fantastic....for about a week. Mtn Dew tasted great for a month... Then went yucky...month later, tasted fine.... Mint seems to help some flavors, caramel helps others..just keep playing....

More than likely your taste buds are slowly coming back, so give the one juice a break for a bit and come back to it later on. Taste buds are a funny thing sometimes

I asked about pg/vg because I was taking a different tack with it. If the juice has higher vg or is all vg then it will be thicker and not wick very fast. That meaning you could be drawing faster than the wick is capable of wicking. That would lead to less vapor, less flavor, and more "dry hits". From your description of being able to take a few hits and then it changes it sounds like your getting dry hits and tasting more coil and wick instead of juice. The other possibility is that it's leaking thru the center hole but you would get gurgling and the top of your battery would have juice on it which shorts out the connection between your battery and coil. Just a couple of things to look for....

I generally vape anywhere from 3.2ml on a light day (like today) to 6.4ml on a heavy day. Generally I'm right about 4.8ml, though. Having said that, I can go through my eGo 900mah battery in a day pretty easily. The same is fairly true on my 1100mah Smoketech Winder VV battery. The difference though is that I usually set the voltage for 3.6v to 4.2v depending on what I'm vaping (3.6v to 3.8v for fruity flavors, 3.8v to 4.2v for tobacco or menthol flavors). At 4.2v, that 1100mah battery will be dead in 3.2ml almost exactly (two CE5 tanks), which can be a little discouraging but the variable voltage makes up for it and I always have my 900mah standing by and ready.

There is a pretty good stretch between the coil and the pos. post, but if you begin by fastening the pos. connection first and finish with the neg. connection, there's no problem with top coil hot spots...at least for me. My first (and only) try making a 7/6 28 gauge Kanthal coil was completely successful, and gave me a nice, even red glow across all the wraps, and I ended up with a 1Ω coil. What makes things a little tricky is the ridge around the top deck, which is there for when you're using it as an RDA. Getting your neg. lead under the ground screw with that lip right next to it can be a little difficult.

mix the peach and the banana. They make an awesome smoothi type flavor. I went with 35 drop of banana in a 30 ml mix and 25 drops of peach.

I've been using the T2 for about 2 weeks now and love them. I just got a few T3Ss yesterday and think I love them more. I seem to be burning through less juice with the T3S. You are absolutely right though, they both have their own set of pro and cons. I had the original T3, but they just wouldn't stop leaking. It was very frustrating.

Another thing I am liking about the T3S is not having to top off my liquids each night. I pretty much switch up my flavors throughout the day primarily between 3 flavors. At the rate I vape and the fact that the liquid tastes the same from top to bottom I now only fill tanks every other or every third day. This makes up for the little bit of extra work it is to fill the T3S. With the T2s the flavor dropoff at a half a tank is significant enough I was topping them off every night when I got home from work.

Imagine your old cartridge perched atop your spinner. Pry off the little end cap. Pull out the stuffing/filler material which holds the juice. It's like a cotton blanket that is just holding all the juice in a pre filled cartridge. You yank all of that out. What you have left is a short tube at the bottom of which is a totally exposed coil in a little shallow "pan". Now take your juice say strawberry fields, and just drip 3 drops right on to the atomizer. Put a drip tip in place of the old cap. It's just press fit with a little o-ring. Fire up the battery and vape those 3 drips directly off the coil. You will get a couple/few hits of just pure direct vape then you will sense that its going dry, loss of vapor and taste. Pull the tip, drop 3 drops of spearmint now, enjoy the vape. Rinse and repeat. (Figurative) Advantages: 1. Really good vapor production 2. Change flavor on the fly 3. Try out new flavors or mixes of your own flavors. 4. Really great flavor 5. In other configurations (other equipment) easy to rebuild coils Disadvantages: 1. Can't do it while you're driving or anything else except maybe watching TV, lol 2. Prone to a little bit of leaking 3. Prone to flooding the coil 4. More trouble than just filling a Clearomizer and taking off This is just a basic dripping method. There are other dripping methods even more sophisticated that I have witnessed others do that produce TONS of flavor and true clouds. They require different gear and are superior, very low resistance, dual coil, etc...

I ordered mine from Veteran Vaper. I generally default to 2.2 on all my stuff because they are good at both lower and slightly higher voltage.

Vision Spinner 1300MAH. I started using it Sunday morning about 10am and it just blinked dead literally 5 minutes ago. I feel like I vape a lot, but maybe I don't vape as much as I thought. I see some saying theirs last all day, but mine last 2-3 days.

I started using the one I am using now Sunday at the lake and it still is performing fully right now. I am amazed how long these things last.

That may be an advantage the Spinner has. I can tell when my standard Ego Batteries are getting close to dying and they drop off in performance some but the Spinner always maintains until the light blinks.

Before you started vaping did you put the battery on a charger and let it fully charge? If you did then I'd say get in contact with the vendor and get a new one. If not, put it on the charger and make sure it's topped up. Even though they come partially charged it might not have enough oomph to work at its best. Just a thought.

Yes, you are right about the taste difference. I started my vaping, today, with one of the sample bottles. That USA Tobacco sample bottle was 18mg nicotine. The larger bottle, of the same flavor (purchased separately from the kit), contained 24mg of nic. I had, initially, assumed that they were both the strength. After this first filling is through, I will start on the larger bottle. Starting at the strongest, and working myself down, is (I feel) the way to go to wean myself off of nicotine completely.

That's why I didn't bring it up in my original reviews because I am in the vast minority, but not alone in my dislike for the KPT. I do believe the T2 and T3S deliver better flavor than the Vivi Nova for a better value overall. I have one Mini Nova and one Vivi Nova and I do not really use them anymore either. I think the flavor comes through the T2 and T3S much better. Again, everything is subjective when it comes to "taste" but when it comes to other intangibles like ease of use, maintenance, cost of ownership reviewing can be valuable tools. Just typing this for myself made me realize I will probably use both at times without switching solely to one of the other. Its good to have two choices like that that are so close together. Strawberry Fields, Traditional Tobacco, and Juicy Peach have never tasted as good to me in anything I have used as the T3S but not a huge difference with my minty flavors.

Great review/comparison. Very thorough with lots of great information. I know Ive decided to stick with my T2s for now. Especially since it's the perfect portable set up for me. I have recently tried out a couple of dripping systems that are great when I'm home relaxing.(it has now replaced my T2 as my "at home" set-up. Cant beat the flavor and vapor production). But, for ease of use its hard to beat the T2

Hi, Synther. My double-unit kit came with a sample pack of favors. There are eight, 3.7ml bottles, and the favors are as follows: Cool Mint, Tropical Breeze, Coffee & Cream, Mandarin Mango, Cherry Slush, Berry Pomegrante, Vanilla Cupcake and USA Tobacco. I smoked my last cigarette, a little earlier in the day, and then went about filling my eGo Twist. I powered it on, gave it one pull, and powered it back down. I just wanted to see that it WAS a functioning unit. I have to say that I was quite impressed. The flavor was a bit different from what I have been used to, from analogs, but that was to be expected. I got a good hit, but there was an aftertaste left in my mouth, which wasn't too bad, but something else that I will have to get used to. The flavor that I tried was the USA Tobacco one, due to thinking that it would be the closest to what I had already been inhaling. I had also bought a larger bottle of the USA Tobacco flavor, but will eventually get around to trying all of the flavors out. However, no complaints. I know that change requires transitioning, and that is a passage which can (in THIS situation) more easily be traveled when focus is kept on the extreme benefits to be realized.
