  1. I am planning on using the syringe for filling tanks right now. I haven't ventured into DIY juice as of yet, although I have been musing with the idea. There are so many recipes out there that it is daunting. @edna I will save your post for equipment needed when I take the plunge. @edna and @Earthling789 I see in other posts where you are both quite savvy with making your own e-juice. Yet another beatitude of joining this forum! I found a dozen 12Ga SS blunts on Amazon for a great price with free shipping so I'm giving them a shot for now.
  2. Hope I did this right. Started a new topic. If that's a booboo please let me know. I found some 10ml blunt end syringes that use 14ga needles. Is this needle bore large enough? If not, please make recommendation. Also, if someone has a great source for these, it would be great!
  3. You got that right! It got up to a whopping 13 degrees yesterday. Just the thought of going out for a "smoke" made me shiver.
  4. Yesterday I learned that I am getting quite spoiled with vaping. Per my lifestyle, I have very little restriction in regard to where and when I can vape. Even at the store, I am at liberty to vape as long as there are no customers present. Yesterday was a Zoo! Everybody on the planet decided to shop for floor covering. There I am sneaking vapes behind the counter, thinking "go home, I wanna vape!". Reminiscent of the old stinkey days. Consolation being that I know I no longer smell like an ash tray. All good. We all still had a good time shopping together and I am confident that I sold a bunch of floors. Looking forward to the day when I need less nicotine.
  5. This morning I realized that things are changing fast. First thing in the morning I vape my little ego or nautilous mouth to lung to get some nicotine in the system. That is no longer satisfying. I want that wonderful direct to lung vape with the airflow wide open. How relaxing! So nice!
  6. Wondered about that. That's fairly sophisticated circuitry in a very small package for sure. It still blows me away with the amount of current these devices handle. There's the nerd inside me that would love to see a circuit diagram.
  7. I have a question that's been bugging me. How is a mod going to react if over tasked? Example: I have a single 18650 and I mount a .5 coil. Nominal voltage being ~4V, I have a max of 32W available. I set my mod to 75W. Is it going to indicate "low battery", "no you can't", or simply supply the 32W it can and indicate 75?
  8. To get the full latitude out of the coil, the M2 would be your wisest choice. I'm not sure how each manufacturer rates their coils. One would think that the "rated at" figures would signify the beginning power at which vapor is produced and the max power for safe operation. Recommended settings to me mean the power range at which pleasurable vaping occurs.
  9. Wow, That Octuple has got to have a huge surface area. A miniature fog machine. Pumping that amount of current, especially in a DC circuit and that small of a device is some feat. Maybe I'll get one to fog the stage between songs. Now there's a hook that hasn't been done!
  10. My friends have started calling me the "walking air freshener". This is a major upgrade!
  11. @Tam Lol, So are you Tam! You started this whole thing.
  12. @Edna FYI, You are officially contributing to the delinquency of a senior. I ordered the tips today. Value pack with different colors. They also had the neatest little pouches for keeping coils and such. In value packs. They also had the neatest little stands for coils. In value packs. They also had a great price on a mello III. Like going to Costco for one item. Didn't happen.
  13. Will do. More precisely, it is Mr. Vapor Smurfy. It's and orange/brown color.
  14. Oh ya. I'm here too. Wanted a bottle of subtle blueberry. The clerk handed me a bottle of "smurf". If this is your favorite juice, I apologize, but in my mouth it was an explosion of mega-yuck! This was no cute little blue buddy. It was the Godzilla of God only knows what. I think maybe Draino. Even the odor of this stuff was more like concentrated air freshener than something someone would want in their mouth. Like taking a hit on a Fabreeze can. It took forever to get out of the cotton in the coil. I'd love to give it to someone who likes it. I hate throwing away money. Yes, there is a hidden rant in here. Come on marketing people. Give us a hint. Some description of what it actually tastes like not just a collection of echoaelic buzz words targeting a market segment at an emotional level.
  15. http://sweet-vapes.com/coil-master-521-tab.html Sweet Vapes seems to have these in stock for $24.99. Hard to find item. Plenty of tab 521 mini's out there.
  16. I can attest to this. A couple of friends turned me on to vaping and both were emphatic about me going to "their" vape shop and working with specific people that would help me get started right. My friends were exactly right and the folks they recommended were dogged enthusiasts with a ton of questions for me. They were not about to let me pay for the equipment until they were sure I would be able to work it all correctly. That was a HUGE gift! I can definitely see that without that jump-start, I could have been put off in a hurry with vaping. The folks at the vape shop have already became "friends". It's great sometimes to just drop by and chat about vaping when they're not busy.
  17. There is no problem there. I ordered the tanks on a lark. If I can get them to work that will be great. If they never work out it's no crisis. Regardless, I'm excited about trying the drip tips. This industry is amazing.
  18. I'm with you per this spitting thing. Takes every bit of enjoyment out of vaping. I'll order up a few of the drip tips and give them a shot. The tanks are otherwise solid tanks.
  19. Worth a try for sure! The other thing I want to try is the included RBA heads. They are a radically different design from the drop in heads. I would like to see what they do.
  20. Stainless construction Top Airflow 22mm 510 Thread 4ml capacity Utilizes SS NotchCoil .24 head or Dual .25 SS head Side fill Comes with RBA head Bought two of these on clearance sale. One worked fine out of the box. Nothing special. Pretty finicky. Very little latitude between no vape and scorch when using temp control. Second unit spit. Spit like an active volcano. Tried everything I could find on the net and both drop in coils. No change. Unusable tank. I am keeping it to try with the RBA. Noted quite a few mentions on net about spitting. Can not recommend this tank. Obviously, from my experience, it's a crap shoot.
  21. I was wondering about that. I am going to pick some zero up as I have been told it is good habit before bed to ditch the nic. Haven't gotten around to that yet as I am still futzing around with getting my nicotine levels under control. I have a pink lemonade flavor in 12, 6 and 3. It is amazing to me the difference in flavor. 12 has no real lemonade taste, just agitation and part of the burnt taste I associate with smoking. 6 is much better. It's only with 3 that the real taste starts coming through. What a difference! I imagine 12 would taste like black pepper on the tongue.
  22. Captains log, star date 1/2/17. Today I have internalized that I really don't like nicotine. Just switching from 3 to 6 mg really diminishes the taste of vaping. I am also so d$&@ tired of coughing! First draw after an hour of not vaping and even 6mg with a sub ohm has me coughing. 12mg, even with my little ego sends me to almost gagging if I'm not careful. I don't know how I ever smoked. I did cough a lot. But after the wonderful experience of vaping 3mg, I have quickly become intolerant of trying to rip my lungs out and I really don't like the taste of nicotine. Only two weeks in seems way too soon to reduce to 6, but anything higher is just nasty for me. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  23. I thought I found something new. Oh well. Anyway, here's a snip showing the app.
