  1. I had no idea. Ok, now I need to build an addition on the house to house all of this stuff.
  2. I'm so new I would not take my advice but I do love the Eleaf Pick 75. I've used both wattage control and temp control and both work very well. It's quite small and the form, fit, and function are excellent. Battery life is pretty good in my perception. I can go through two batteries in a day. Programming buttons are recessed slightly on the bottom of the unit and hard to accidentally hit. Fire button is solid and convenient. I don't charge via usb so I have no idea how long that takes. I got the brushed silver and it polishes up nicely and does not scratch easily. Screen is small but bright and displays all necessary information. Battery is very secure with the screw down cap. It's a little heavy for a shirt pocket but fits well in a pants pocket. It will not lock the fire button but it initializes very fast so turning it on and off takes no time at all.
  3. I have to laugh. I get it. These devices are captivating. I've been eying the Lost Vape Therion DNA75. You know, for those black tie affairs. Nice leather wrap with ebony accents. Oh my! Then of course, I would have to get a Rolex, new tux, and Salavtore Ferragamo shoes to go with it. Then the venue wouldn't allow vaping anyway. Hmmmmm. I think I'll just get a different flavor of juice to try instead.
  4. Definitely not good. If your running 3.7V @ .25ohms that's a draw of 14.7 amps. The battery would try to provide the current an be stressed way past max limit. The results could be really nasty. That's only 54 Watts. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app

@FXRich Isn't that the way with most things. Reasonable consumption is usually fine. I would love to get to 3 or below someday. The flavor is so much better. So is the activity without the cough reflex. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  6. Ok, I've gotta ask, is this blueberry and peppermint something you purchased or home brew? Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  7. That is my hope! Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  8. Today I learned about SS coils and temp control. Was in wastage mode and the flavor was just not up to par. Jacked the wattage and the flavor got better but vapes got erratic. Long vapes seemed to get too hot. Did some diggin and went into temp mode setting the cap at 400f. Sweet! Nice, even consistent vapes. Oh what a relief it is! These devices are truly amazing! 10. It has a Coil Master Mini Tab in the tool kit and I still have my old Fluke from when I worked the field a kabillion years ago. I know the Fluke is accurate. I hope the coil master is. The Coil Master is kinda nice as it will also dry fire a build right on it's deck.
  11. Got two Eleaf Lyche tanks in the mail today. $10 ea. Could not pass that up. Down side is now I'm gonna take the plunge into rebuilding. They came with RBA heads. That will jack the price by $50 but this just looks like too much fun. Obviously the tool kit should last awhile. Found a calculator link in one of the posts here and it all makes sense. Gotta love this community! Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  12. Today I learned about vaping and the flu. I have nothing good to say about the flu. I do not advocate catching the flu to compare results therein. Having been vaping a whopping two weeks, my routine has been, wake up, have 3 or 4 stinkies, vape for the rest of the day. Along comes the flu. The thought of a stinkey was too much to handle. Started the day with 12m vape. Vaped when not sleeping during the day for two days now. Major difference! Kicking this bug in record time! Greatly diminished congestion and much less stomach agitation. I'm hoping this will carry over after the flu as I have proven to myself that starting the day with stinkies is not necessary. Silver lining? Could be. Oh, and vaping in bed, what a thing to believe! But it can be done, if we do but perceive.
  13. Attached is what I found regarding coils. No mention of wire used on most.
  14. I picked up a Pioneer4you IPV8 220WTC a few days ago expressly for longer battery life. Being so new to this, I can't effectively compare it to other mods, but I vaped on it like crazy for a full day and still had half the battery life left over. Very happy about that. For a two battery unit, it has a pretty small form factor, but it is obviously a little heavy. Not really a mod that I would slip into a pocket. Form, fit, and function seem pretty nice as it is a solid feeling mod with zero rattles. Menus are a little complex but it does have a three click lock down. It does have some leather on one side that is a nice touch but I am not sure it will wear very well. Time will tell. Five clicks and it came up in wattage mode and had sensed the impedance of the coil. For this noob, it's pretty nice. It's comfortable in the hand and the fire button falls nicely under my fingers. Very small screen which is not flashy at all but probably won't get scuffed up with use as it is recessed.
  15. @emusic Just watched a video on the RX2/3. Looks like a great mod. Love the screen. Can't believe the price. What kind of battery life do you get with three batteries?

@Edna Better day yesterday! I'm sure it will be up and down for awhile. As it worked out, things were slow yesterday and I did have a mod in hand or very close all day. I also have a major attachment to the hand to mouth activity. Did a lot of vaping yesterday. Had a pleasant surprise as well. I'm not one to ask for help and then not take suggestion. I'm also no fan of water. Grabbed a bottle of carbonated water and it tasted great after vaping! Go figure! For the most part, I have little trouble having a mod with me or in my hand most of the day. I'm retired, but help a couple of friends run a floor covering store a few times a week. They are both sharp individuals and get Vaping. I don't vape when I have customers on the floor, but that still leaves plenty of time between clients. I was also bad on Tuesday. Picked up an IPV8. Two batteries. Vaped all day yesterday and had half my charge left at the end of the day. Oh despicable me! But I do love it.....

I sincerely hope that nobody minds me using this forum as a quasi SA (stinkeys anonymous) as it really helps to talk about it. I am sad to announce that the pink cloud era of this endeavor is ending. I was Truly hoping it would last longer. The evil stinkies are exercising their legacy. I am having cravings, and they are STUPID cravings. Little flash backs of simply picking the things up and lighting them. Most irritating! Already all of the negative memories of this activity are fading and these cravings are presenting themselves as fond memories. Just how insane is that! So far, a quick vape and a quick shake of the head clears these occasions. Have to admit my initial reaction is anger which is counter productive as well. Oh well, free ride is over. Time to go to work. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  19. Today I learned that having multiple tanks is nice for having a variety of flavors at hand and trying different tanks, but a real pain as far as maintaining an inventory of disposables, e.g. coils. I also learned to start writing things down. I have an ijust 2 that came with a dual wound, .3 ohm coil. I replaced it with a .5 single wound that "works". It does not however provide anywhere near the amount of flavor. OoooPs. Had to look up the original equipment provided. Now I will need to source that. Hmmmmmmmm. I'm learning. I'm also going to need to source some little containers that can be labeled for the pieces/parts. Last thing learned is having some juice that is "ok" can be a good thing to limit vaping at work. Some of this stuff tastes just too good to put down.
  20. Yikes! Just learned what a fried coil tastes like. Mega Yuck! My IJust 2 cooked. I've read in here that "you will know" when it happens. Holy Moly! I guess so!
  21. Today was slow at work. So I read up on the FDA in regard to vaping. I learned that is probably a mistake for me as I become upset. Nothing new regarding my perception of the Guberment. I have to wonder if part of accepting a position with the Federal Guberment entails submitting to a lobotomy. Disclaimer: Reference to Guberment conveys no connotation regarding political parties or implications regarding political postulates. This in no way should be interpreted as an attempt to incite political debate.

Sounds like good advice Tam. Six months sounds like a good time frame. Right now there's plenty to fence with everyone's opinion and what not. I dropped alcohol 23 years ago and the process has similarities, lol. And of course, I have to try to be careful not to beat friends over the head with it as I am so glad to have found this. Don't want or become a smoke-a-nazi, lol. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app
