Ankle still hurts, doesn't seem to be making much headway there. I'll talk with the doc next week about it when I go in for another follow up. Just finished PT and I've got a 120 degree bend on the knee! That was the goal when I started. They said they'd be thrilled with 115 but would prefer 120.  Not too shabby for the fourth visit.

I'm surprised that I haven't seen any posts on the VOOPOO DRAG. It's a great performing dual 18650 Mod. Very accurate and well built. Response time (push of fire button to full power) is amazing. Max Wattage is 157 Watts and TC is accurate too. I have one and I really like it.

Congratulations on your engagement! You can find a nice balance between adulting and still having fun. Enjoy your new apartment for the time you have it all to yourself. Even though I love my SO to pieces, there are times when I miss having my own place.

Congratulations Foo!  Sounds like doing great!  You can do this.  Adulting as you term it is rough from time to time but also very rewarding.

So cute! Does he ever scratch at your door to get your attention?
There was a tree outside of our old apartment. If I ever forgot to put the nuts (walnuts and almonds) out, Mr. Squirrel would climb the tree so she could see inside my kitchen window and bark at me until I put nuts out for her. My SO named her Mr. Squirrel. It wasn't until much later that we found out that he was a she. Gotta love the little critters.
Now, I have a Great Horned Owl hanging out on our roof who is rather vocal. All. Night. Long. Mix that with the pack of coyotes that live in the culvert in the next lot over and we have quite a chorus at night.

    Congrats!
Yes, living alone is very expensive, but also can be very enjoyable.  Don't be lured by the cost of fast-food... eating out for one can be cheaper than cooking for one, but cooking is healthier (and fun), and leftovers are a good thing
Congrats on getting engaged, too!  Once June rolls around you'll find you'll be moving into the best time of your life   Just don't stress over wedding plans or over-extend your budget... you can be married for free or $100K wedding... but the end result is the same... you're still married... so put that into perspective and save some $ for the two of you AFTER the wedding, rather than a big show for family and guests.

That's right! I got my first all by myself apartment at the age of 34! Everyone said I could never pull this one off! I have my own adress in my name only for the very first time. But oh my! Adulting is crazy expensive!! My hubby and I will be married in June. We are waiting until we get married to live together. First beginnings are rough, but it is fun!

The shorthand version for this is:   Desired strength/base strength * batch volume.  In this example it would be 3/48*64 = 4

@Walt is right on the money... reading through this thread, I was about to chime in and say 1ml would not be enough of 48mg strength base, but Walt beat me to it
It is always good to use a juice calculator, even just for confirmation.

1ml of your base diluted with 47ml of any juice mixture would yield 1mg strength...
Quick formula to determine strength...  Base-strength * Base-volume / Total volume = Final strength
adding 1ml base to 60ml of juice would further dilute the base-strength down to less than 1mg (actually 0.787mg)...  48*1/61 = 0.787
    adding 2ml base to 60ml (48*2/62 = 1.55mg)...
    adding 3ml base to 60ml (48*3/63 = 2.286mg)...
    adding 4ml base to 60ml (48*4/64 = 3mg)

It was rough for me to get started into it.  There was like a threshold I had to get over and then it started rolling.  A place you may want to look at is www.e-liquid-recipes.com.  They post a lot of mixes that you can open up and see what flavors they used to make them.  They also have a forum but join at your own risk.  There are a few regulars there that are really rude, spiteful, guttural, and vulgar.  I'll leave it at that.  I discontinued my membership simply because I did not want the affiliation.  There are also a few folks here that do dyi.  If you have a liquid you would like to make or clone, you could try asking.  It's really great once you start getting the hang of it.

I like the looks of the VT75 too. I would say that I wish its edges were more rounded. But nonetheless I still like it. Oh, I forgot to mention that it must be a very efficient Mod because I get great battery life.

I hear a lot of good things about that mod elsewhere.  Personally, I'm put off a little by the name.  I know, poor criteria to judge a mod.  But it and the assvape atty came out about the same time and I just could not wrap my head around sticking that in my mouth.  I guess the other thing that just doesn't appeal to me is the "retro" or boxy design.  Don't get me wrong, it looks fine in consideration of it's intended style but for me it lacks refinement.  I would be running around going "Me Grog!  Me Vape!".  I'm sure in another person's hand it would look fine to me.

That's not unusual. Drama always fuels conversation. It's probably why Vapor Talk, at least compared to many other forums, is usually a little "quieter." Over the years, we always quickly shut down those types of posts. Debate of course is always fine but the rule is always "attack the topic and not the poster."

@Christopher  Hey!  Great call posting that to facebook.  I never thought of it!  Great mojo having it posted from VT too.  Both those guys represent our community very well.  There is so much subliminal commentary in that video.  One from the UK and the other from the US and obviously old friends.  Both very sharp, down to earth individuals.  The quitting cigarettes verbiage woven in.  Genius call Christopher!

I recently bought my first vaporizer - the Kangertech Subvod-C.  I didn't want to be a cigarette smoker anymore and decided to switch to vaping.  The difference is unbelievable!  I was a 10+ year heavy smoker and just could not find a way to quit or even just to slow down.
Once I started vaping, I literally stopped thinking about - and craving - cigarettes.  Vaping is so much more enjoyable, and that's just one benefit amongst so many others.
For the first time ever, I've been off cigarettes for an extended amount of time (and based on how I'm doing so far, I'm not worried about ever going back to them!).  I am now 3 weeks cig-free.
See you all in the forums!
    -Sean
