As much as I love the IPV mini and mini2, the Eleaf iStick 50w is blowing them all away for performance and versatility. May need to get another or two... Just saying.

Just thought I would share some images of the twists I did for Jason. This is for those that are twisting wire and thinking of doing some twisted wires.

I bet I have built close to 100 builds on the SubTank Mini RDA.  I can tell you from experience that te best wicking possible you want it so tight you think it is going to screw up your coil.  In fact sometimes it does and I have to do a lot of adjusting after it is wicked.  Another tip is to trim your tails so that they just barely touch the deck.  You want them to fan out but not to cover the holes.

Here is a picture I took from one of the other forums (not my picture).

The general concensus over there is the best coil size is in the 2.5mm range and to stuff as much as 6mm wide of Japenese cotton only removing one of the covering layers from one side.   I have gone back to using rayon and may post a picture tonight if I get a chance to rebuild.   By the way, I run 1.5 ohms and 70pg/30vg juice @ 20 watts on the middle air holes.  I do not take extremely long draws, but not short either.

A year ago today (3/31), I smoked my last cigar... I bought my starter-kit (a twin-pack eGo-T and Ce4 with charger, carry-case and 60ml of juice) for a whopping $72... yes, I still have the receipt..., and was determined to give it two weeks to see if I could kick the analog habit... I figured since I had just spent nearly two week's worth of tobacco money, I had better not waste it

Well, I've come a long way from my eGo's and Ce4's... dozens of Kanger tanks, RTA's RDA's, MVP, Mech-mods, and now higher-end APV's...  I've given many devices a try, and finally settled on my preferred set-ups of RTA's and IPV-minis / Cloupor-minis... but still cling to my AeroTanks, because you just can't kill them

I've tried liters of e-liquids, spent hundreds of dollars in trial-and-error, and found my ADV's are as cheap as a decent fast-food meal every week... even cheaper now that I've found I can DIY and duplicate the flavor (and make it even better, too).

I've spent a small fortune, but still less money on vaping than I would have spent supporting Big-Tobacco or the cigar cartels... I've paid forward as much as I've kept... made many, many friends here on this forum and in the local community of vapers... and helped to educate and convert dozens of ex-smokers to the healthier world of vaping!  I feel good about myself, and have never felt better in my own body... I breathe better, have more energy, more stamina, and have actually lost 15-lbs over the past year (without even really trying)!!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone on this forum for all the help and encouragement you've given me when I was starting out, and when I was learning about something new.  YOU have made all the difference in my road to becoming (and staying) analog-free for a whole year.  I'm so glad I found this forum, and I'm proud to be a contributing member, helping others reach their first-year milestones!

Turn signals?  Vehicles still come with those??

Around here, stop signs are "optional", red-lights are "suggestions", speed-limits are "minimums", and apparently lane stripes are invisible (or people are yellow/white color-blind)!

I'm still amazed that people must come to a complete stop before making a right-turn.... and why is it that people think 90 is a good speed on a rural road or residential area, but 55 is too fast for the Interstate's fast-lane (yet people in the slow lane doing 80 get "pushed")?

I've been vaping for a couple years and recently started making my own liquid and sub ohming. Just looking to get my feet wet here and hopefully have something to contribute.

Caffeine is a diuretic, it will dehydrate. I personally wouldn't want it in something that dehydrates already. Not a scientist or doctor but, I wouldn't think it would be good for your lungs.

Think I am gonna stick to PG,VG, nicotine and flavoring.

This is a great forum and I think there are a lot of great folks here who are passionate about vaping.  I started my 'journey' with vapor in mid December 2014 in an attempt to quit smoking.  I was very successful with my attempt.  On December 17, I smoked my last cigarette and switched completely to vapor.  Between now (March 29, 2015) and the time I started with vapor, I made the changes from 18mg nicotine e-juices all the way down to zero.  I have been for 3 days now with no vapor and no nicotine with ZERO withdrawal.

I hope others make the attempt as well.

    Cheers!

I've got a variable-speed stir-plate that I used 30-year ago in the chemistry lab (at my old job)... I wonder if it still works?  Hmmmm....

I have been known to use the nylon paint-stirrers that you put into a drill to mix batters for cooking... I bet a small one of those (all nylon) on a small cordless drill or cordless screwdriver would work wonders for e-juice mixing!

I saw a video where a guy took a qtip and cut off one end and cut it long ways and cut those two pieces in half so you have like a propeller type thing.then he put it in a drill and put it in the bottle and voilà! Seems to work pretty well. Its amazing what people can make out of almost nothing.
