Juice flavor can be different for everyone. What one person likes someone else may absolutely hate. I have not tried the butterscotch, so I don't have an opinion on the flavor. I see that you have been vaping for a few days now. Your flavor preferences will change the longer you vape. When I first started I got a bottle of juice that tasted like stale beer. I shelved it and after a few weeks, I gave it a try again. The flavor had completely changed. I would suggest waiting a few weeks and giving it a go then. Just a suggestion.

mastiffmom got a reaction from kitsune in Hot Vapes Juices, Some New Ones
I love Hot Vapes for sweet dessert juices period. Last night I received a few new ones I tried a few new ones and fell in love with one of their older ones. So here goes, all using 5V Kazoo 12mg 50/50 mix.
Cafe Filbert has been around a while but since I don't like coffee juices much I ignored it. As usual I was wrong. I got some last night and tried it this morning.Light creamy coffee on inhale, very nice TH, rich warm hazelnut on exhale. Clouds of vapor, clean sweet taste more like a hazelnut latte. The smell is all sweet coffee this is big bottle worthy.
Eggnog this is a new one, creamy eggnog flavor a bit heavy on the nutmeg but Helen is still tweaking this one since she doesn't like eggnog she is getting some feedback. I did like this though and look forward to future tastings.
Caramel Apple is another new one not on the site yet even. Hubby REALLY likes this one but tough I do too. Sweet apple on inhale with a hint of tart and rich creamy caramel on exhale.Helen's caramels are outstanding very sweet and rich so this was no surprise that I liked it, also a big bottle flavor.
I saved the best for last, RY4. I have wondered about this flavor but last night I took the leap and tried several. I found 3 big bottle worthy ones but this one is my most favorite. I would happily vape these three all day long but this one is special. Much sweeter than I would have thought, smooth, warm, comfortable feeling, like a favorite sweater. I'm in love and only sorry they hadn't brought 12mL bottles with them.
All of the flavors I have tried from Hot Vapes have wonderful clean flavors. Rich, sweet, and dessert like I discovered them here on VT and tried them out in Sept. I was so pleased with their products I mentioned them on WCV site and The Green contacted them for our meets and now I feel like they are favorite cousins. You know the ones who always bring great desserts to family gatherings. So I have only The Green to blame for trying flavors I wouldn't have. Thanks Helen and Tim for indulging my sweet tooth without expanding my waistline.

Most vendors will not allow eliquid to be returned. They cannot sell eliquid that has been used (they could, but it would be bad for business if anyone found out). And since taste is subjective, they can't allow people to return eliquid just because they don't like it (they would probably get lots of returns). I would recommend going forward that you always try smaller bottles first until you know if you like it. Again, taste is subjective so even if you see a good review on eliquid, that doesn't mean you'll like it. I've had tons of eliquid that I didn't like and it's piled up in a box. I gave away a lot of it here on the forum, and still have quite a bit left. You could put it up for sale (or trade) in the classifieds.

In your case, where you ordered menthol but don't taste any menthol, I see no harm in contacting Jeffrey and letting him know you're disappointed with the taste. I don't know if he'll do anything for you, but no harm in asking.

I have found, and I believe others have, too, that liquid from wordup needs a bit of time to sit to fully flavor up. They make it to order, so your order was made shortly after you ordered it. I have some lime that I ordered in my first order from them back in August that has quite an impact now. It's like it mellowed and settled into what it was supposed to be. I'd say this difference was at least two weeks from when I first tried it. I know it's tough to wait. But it might be worth it. And at the end, like Brian said, you can trade or sell it here.

You also might try getting some menthol crystals or DIY no nic menthol liquid. Some people find that when used very sparingly in any flavor they get, it adds to the throat hit without overpowering the flavor, say at like two drops per 10ml bottle. You could add much more than that, of course, to get that menthol you're really looking for.

Do contact Jeffrey at wordup. I'm sure he'll have some advice for you. But, I agree with Brian, vendors don't typically do returns.

You'll find something that works, soon I hope!

Like Aimmee has stated... I think you will be surprised after it has "steeped" for a time. I find that the menthols especially tend to need to do this for sure. I know I've had some fresh juices that tasted WACK at first... then after I came back to it later it was much better. Might try that....

Brian is right flavor is really subjective. You and your girlfriend have been vaping for a little over a month now, is that correct? I know you are hooked on finding that perfect menthol flavor, but you should really give whirl at some other flavors if you have not done so.

The only menthol I have tried was a sample from Awesome Vapor. I am not a menthol person. I have to say, it was strong, it was so strong that it opened up my airway. I was quite pleased at the flavor, but menthol is not for me. I finally passed it on to a menthol person. They really seemed to like it.

When I first started, there were flavors that I bought that were just horrible. I stuck them in the corner for emergencies or to pass on to someone else. But after revisiting those flavors a few months later, I found that the flavor really wasn't that bad and I have actually reordered some of them. Maybe it was steeping but I doubt it. Most the of the liquid available when I started was Dekang, I am sure it had ample time to steep between here and China. I really think that my sense of smell and taste took longer to change. I also find that certain flavors taste better at different times of the day. Your flavor choices and habits may change the longer you vape.

It doesn't hurt to contact Jeffrey. Good luck.

I agree with all the posters here. Liquid cannot be resold. Flavors can change and/or your tastes change. Adding some additional menthol may be the trick. You could also add some menthol or other flavoring (in very small increments) to your other liquids .. OR you could pass them in a PIF (pay it forward) fashion, barter or sell.

There are so many options when it comes to vaping that it's very much about experimenting. Never buy large amounts of anything unless you've tried it before, including hardware. That's not to say the product isn't any good, but it may not be right for you. It can be frustrating from time to time but remember this .. you're not smoking anymore, or at least you've cut back and THAT is almost a miracle. Whatever little bits you spend sampling flavors you don't like will more than be made up for, monetarily and otherwise, when you do find what you do like and what works best for you. Ultimately it's a win/win situation but with hurdles along the way. Anything worth having is worth the effort, is it not? So if ever you have questions, concerns or anything else you need help with please don't hesitate to post. We're all here to help one another not only make the transition but to continue to be successful.

I'd like to add that this site has the best group of people dedicated to one another that I've had the pleasure of participating in, benefiting from and contributing to.

    Good luck!

Me too. In the bathroom, sometimes Nic and I close our office door and pass the eGo back and forth like back in High School. I'm always kind of afraid when I tell pt.s about this but I do anyway. Our Rheum. Doc has had me bring my stuff into rooms to show her pt.s. She loves this whole idea.

Yesterday I contact my employer's benefits office to make sure they had received my fax about my choices. I don't take their ins. but do take a few suppliments, anyway they are starting a smoking penalty so I wanted to make sure they knew I was a non-smoker. Lady tells me I don't have to worry as I have other coverage, I say you don't understand I am 101 days smoke-free I just want that known(ok pretty happy about this). She asked how I did it, I explained, she was very excited and said she is going to pass this along to others. I explained it isn't a smoking cessation device, LOL, but for me I didn't want to smoke anymore. She was very excited anyway. Then my director stopped in office, asked how I was doing with my electric thingy, I told her. She has been recommending this to other smokers in our network. Then I find out that one of our cardiology nurses is using ecig and having the same success as I am. I have had several people stop me in the halls or call me to inquire where to get these. Small steps I know but like a ripple in pond it can grow. Just wanted to put my 2 cents in about medical community using or recommending vaping.

So tomorrow is Veterans Day. A day to remember our military personnel both past and present who have fallen in service for our country. But don't let it stop there.
If you're out and about tomorrow and happen so see someone in uniform, why not walk up to them, shake their hand and thank them for their service.
I do it all the time and they really do appreciate it. They need to know they are not just doing this for nothing.
    Go ahead...make their day!

The 520 is a longer version of the 510. The same atomizers, carts, cartomizers that fit the ego will also fit the 520. you will need a separate charger for the 520 (510 charger) as the ego charger can damage the 520/510 batteries.
Congrats to both of you !!! I had completely quit quitting and had no intention to quit when I found vaping--In 30 years I had never managed to quit for more than a week. vaping really has been a miracle for me too.

Vape and relax !!! The more you worry about quitting the harder it is to quit. You will find there are times when you really want a cigarette--if its something you really need, go for it--I promise in the end vaping will win out.
Its hard to break the smoking habits and routines. many times you can just vape through the craving, sometimes you can't. vape, relax and repeat !!!

And absolutely no shivering and freezing for me ( at least not for a cigarette)
