Here is my review of the Cthulhu RTA v2.

This is how it came in.  Pretty good packaging with an extra Delrin drip tip, frosted glass, and tools/o-rings.

This is the tank section.  L to R: drip tip, top fill cap, top cap, glass, bottom/chimney.
It can be disassembled nearly completely for cleaning.

    The tank section assembled.

This is the top of the build decks.  It comes with both single coil, and dual coil decks.

This is the bottom of the build decks.  The one on the left is the dual coil, and if the pictures were clearer, you can see it has very large airflow.  The single coil has 4 smaller holes, that lead up to the hole below the coil.  It is a bit more restricted than the dual coil deck

This is the base section.  The piece on the left is the airflow control and the positive pin.  It is adjustible and the system works very good.  The middle piece is the juice control.  The ring to the right is what you turn to move the ring up and down.  It could us a bit more knurling, it is pretty slick.

This is the base section and the build deck assembled.  This has the juice control fully open (see the nearly invisible arrow).  As you twist the ring the juice control moves up to contact the bottom of the tank to stop the flow of juice.

Here the juice control is closed.

Here it is coiled, and wicked poorly, but ready to go.  Notice the ring to hold the wicks in place.  This allows you to assemble and disassemble the tank without messing up the wicks.  It is a great idea, but a bit hard to get on and off. So far it has been leak free for me and seems to wick very well.  I am running a 3mm 28ga Ni200 coil on it at .16 ohms.

Ready to vape on my Joyetech eVic VTC Mini.  So far they have been a really good team.
I really like this tank.  It has a lot of pieces.  It is not a simple tank.  The machine work is not perfect on it, but it works well.  I don't use the juice control, I just leave it wide open.  I have only tested the dual coil deck, and it seems to work good.  The single coil deck works great.  It is a lot like a larger SubTank Mini deck.  I have been running it in temp control mode for 2 weeks and have not had a minutes trouble.  My coil looked terrible after 2 weeks, but I think this is more of a fault of the eVic mini, not the tank. It seems like the temp control is not working really accurate with the mini.  I have to run it hotter than my other TC mods to get the same vape, but there are times where it seems to get too hot. I have it updated to the latest firmware, but it looks like they need another update.
Overall I really like this tank.  It is my all day every day tank at the moment.  It has good flavor, and good airflow.  The only downsides to this tank (at least mine) is the poor machining and the complex design.  The machining doesn't bother me on any part but the top fill.  It is a bit hard to get on and off. All of the separate pieces gives quite a few points of failure, but so far none have.

Went to the local B&M today and bought 6 KPT 3 minis that were on sale. These make for great beginner tanks to pay it forward.

I got it from Coil Master in the Chinese Sub forum. The V2 kit looks nice. Not sure how much I will use the coiler, depends on if it easier than what I have been using. It will be nice to have all the tools in one nice neat kit though.

The istick 100w is a dual 18650 device. The batteries seem to be running in parallel but I could be wrong, both positives up and both negatives down. You can choose between voltage mode or wattage mode.5w-100w or 2v-10v.Typical 5 clicks on the fire button to turn it on and off.Wattage and voltage adjustments are the same as most devices + for up - for down. You can change the screen display to accommodate left and right handed users.Sufficiant battery venting and the battery door has some strong magnets to hold it on.It does have a USB charging port, but honestly I advise against charging this way.Better safe than sorry.Atomizer protection,Atomizer short-circuit protection,Low voltage protection and Temperature alert.Floating 510 (appears to be copper) but I'm not positive. So overall it's not a bad device at all.100w is more than enough power for all vapers.Feels nice in the hand and no rattle at all. There is one Con and it's a big one (for me at least).Every atomizer that I have put on this device WILL NOT SIT FLUSH.I honestly can not figure out why.And the crazy thing is it's about a playing cards width in gap, frankly it drives me nutts. If attys not sitting flush doesn't bother you then this is worth buying. But I know most people on this forum would agree it is no Bueno.A deal breaker for most seasoned vapers.Overall I'd give this device a 8 out of 10.If atomizers sat flush it would be a 10 out of 10 easy. This was sent to me from GearBest.com for the purposes of this review. Thanks guys!

It is a shame you had trouble with it.
I really wanted that to be a good one.  I may still pick one up and put a different 510 connection on it.  I am also discouraged about the auto mode.  I really like auto.  My iStick 40 TC is automatic and it works great.  I just raise and lower the temp and it controls the watts.  I assume it is maxed out at 40 watts and then the TC is regulating it.
It looks like a great size for a dual 18650 mod.  I bet at 40J and 475 degrees, with a couple HG2's or 30Q's in it, it would run nearly 2 days for me!  It looks much smaller than the ipv3 Li.  I have the old ipv3 and it is too big for me.

Cloupor gt 80w temp control mod

    Specs:

Box made from 6061 billet aluminum

    Floating 510 pin

Dual 18650 w/ magnetic back cover

    Output is 1w-80w

    Resistnace is 0.1 - 3.5 ohms

Variable wattage, voltage and temperature control modes

    Smart auto temperature control

I received this mod to do a review on from our friends at gearbest.com

When i got the device i loved it, it worked great in every mode you put it in. Now granted this was my first ever temp. Control mod, i did teach myself how to build nickel coils which is not easy.

The temp control to me works good, but the auto or "smart" temp control is useless imo. Because it just bounces around the joules to what it thinks you need to fire that build at that temperature.

To switch between the 3 modes you hold the fire button and the power up button.

When in t.c. mode to adjust the joules setting hold the up button and the fire button for 3 seconds.

Also in t.c. mode you can lock the resistance by holding the up and down button for 3 seconds.

    Pros :

    : excellent battery life

    : small compact design

    : light weight device

Cons: this mod broke on me after 4 days of use.

: 510 is not floating or "spring loaded"

: underpowered 80w in wattage mode...my other mods hit harder at 80 watts (i.e. sig 100w and istick 100w)

: smart temp control is a joke on this device imo because its not accurate on firing at a constant power setting. It bounces around too much.

: all my attomizers will not sit flush on this device.

The only way i fixed this mod was to crack it apart myself and use a flat head screwdriver to push the 510 back up.

I would have sent it off but i havent had the time.

This device was good when it worked...but imo they need to take it back to the drawing board and work out the kinks.

It is on manual...but the lowest this mod can fire is 0.08 from what i read in the manual. That is what this build was reading 0.08 ohms, but when i locked it came out to 0.114
Well now that i fixed this little hiccup jason, this mod is right on the money. High marks in my opinion, just cant do the review right now since i have to leave out on the road again tomorrow.

    Any time!
Just keep us posted.  From what I see I really like the looks of this mod, and if the mini is nearly as good, it is going to be really hard to resist buying one of each.  I am trying to save money for some test equipment and a new charger...and new batteries, and on and on....But if you give this thing high marks, it may bump some of these "needs"

    This stupid update...
I posted another reply, and it combined them...a good idea, but can really cause confusion.
I found a couple of videos and they do show the resistance lock.  Try letting it get to room temp, then put it in temp mode, screw on the atty, push up and down power buttons until it says the resistance is set (just like the ipvD2).  I think this will help.  I know on my 3 mods that have this feature, it does some crazy things if the resistance is not locked.  I have one that doesn't have the feature, but I think it sets it when it asks if it has a new atomizer.  If you put a hot atomizer on and say new...temps are way off!

I have had a lot of trouble making dual coils work well in TC.  It seems like if everything is not perfectly symetical you get hot spots.  That being said, yours seems to be burning pretty much where it should (or shouldn't) in the middle of the coil.
I know nothing about the Cloupor, but is there a way to lock the resistance?  I know that is a big thing with many mods.  If you don't lock it in at room temp it can cause it to run too hot or cool, not accurate at all. (some mods do not have this feature)
If that isn't the problem the only other real explanation would be that it is just not very accurate.  If you lower the temp to 400 or so and lower your joules does it work ok?
I just went and watched pieces of 2 different videos about that mod, and I want one now!  I think it would make a great home for my TFv4!  Great features, the auto mode, dual 18650 and 80 watts in TC!
It does have resistance lock, so let it cool to room temp, then put on the atty, push the up and down power buttons at the same time.  This should fix your problem.

The "needs" have been easy lately... I've got plenty of juice (from DIY), coils, batteries, tanks, wire, cotton, etc.
I've put myself under a strict budget for a few months, until I get my son a car, things done around the house, and pre-pay my vacation!!!  Until then, unless I'm completely out of something, I'm not buying it... I promise

I do like the tank, I just don't think it is an all day, everyday tank for me.  I didn't care the Ti 01 build I did on the RBA, I may go back and try to build a Ni200 build.  I am really looking for a good 35 - 40 watt (joule) tank, with a single coil and good airflow.  I think this tank, even with the single coil RBA is designed for much higher wattage, but without more testing, I can't be for sure.
