Generic can be a strong word that is misunderstood by the general public.
Thanks for the clarification that Me / WordupEcig.com does not and will not sell fake knockoff items as I know the same high standards are practised at Vapor talk store along with Chris not letting any supplier be registered on this forum who are or may sell fake knockoff or who are lying and calling something that it is not what it really is.
I know of a lot of forums (No Names mentioned) that let people/Suppliers come in and call a known knock off a Joye, Janty or Ruyan. Knot Happening Here!
Me and Chris may have our differences but we both believe that the customer comes first and if you (The customer) are purchasing a knock off you should be told this is a knock off so you can then make your own decision. When purchasing your product always review the site you are purchasing from and always ask question and if the price is to good to be true it is just that.

From what i researched VG is Vegetable Glycerin based liquid and PG is Propylene Glycol based liquid. VG based liquid from what i know has batter taste and vapor but also gums up your attys from my own experience and PG based liquids i find are not as enjoyable as the VG but knowing that it doesnt ruin my attys (investments) is a good thing for me im still new to vaping but this is what i know of my own experience and research. Im about to try mixing PG and VG as i hear its a good thing of getting the best of both worlds

I looked it up and I guess I want always to put things into perspective. I eat butter. I love butter! Am I going to stop eating butter? No, I will never stop eating butter! Did I ingest all kinds of toxic and known carcinogens when I smoked analogs? Yep. I guess it has to do with an individual's comfort level. If we only knew half of the things that are in the marketplace that are essentially harmful to our bodies, idk, I'd go pretty nuts.

Hi, yep Dayvape said it well! Early on I had difficulties using all VG, same thing, slow on the draw, and it wicked gummed-up my attys. I get powerful vapor with some all PG liquids. I would never, ever use all VG in a carto. To me, it would be like pouring syrup into it. This is just my personal experience with VG.

I do not want to start an argument here, but in reality if you bought an E-CIG you purchased a product manufactured in China. If you want to support the corrupt American if you have cash you can succeed if you do not well have fun in your small house small car can barley afford your mortgage because these monster corporations hold you down, then smoke a real cigarette. However is someone has the knowledge, background, ideas, tools, and money to design one of these things I will buy it. When I first posted I asked which is the best unit, everyone said Joye EGO I purchased it from the source, I paid shipping, just like everyone else. I saved a few bucks because I did not help someone making a buck from someone else, plus nobody had it in stock not even the vapor store which everyone said to buy from. I was not going to wait another week or month to go digital. Also these are the same reasons we need to help fight the ban of e-cigs, because of our corrupt money hungry nation who cares more about being billionaires the the wealfare of our middle and lower class. You want to do something great for this country and spend more money on organic foods, buy products from only your town store, and fight the bs laws thrown at us for not spending money on analogs.

Sorry for the rant and again not a fight, just very passionate about this subject again sorry. So back to the E-cig Joye EGO rules no matter where you buy it.

You know, if I'm wrong correct me but, I believe a noobie posted recently that she had purchased one of these deals, and even another poster. Like I said somewhere else earlier, there are a lot of snake-oil products being sold out there. I know it's buyer beware with merchandise, but imo, this is kind of sad, and really what gives the e-cig market a bad name, let along subject to more intense scrutiny (by the you-know-who) for the honest people who are trying to make a living.

The organized takeover in the last thirty years of our health care system by Big Pharma has been shamefully overt and I would go so far as to say criminal. How many years now, illnesses of every scope of the imagination (and I mean that literally...imagined) have been advertised on TV that only a drug solution offered by Big Pharma can solve? The doctors had to pay off their med school debt somehow sooner rather than later. BP wines and dines the FDA. Oh well, I'm way off topic but, the problem is "we", the collective we, have allowed this to happen.

Hi, PG or Propylene Glycol and VG, Vegetable Glycerin is the suspension or base liquid that nicotine in various strengths is added to. If you google both these terms, you'll get a detailed description. Both are used in many many applications. I've read that some vapers experience an allergic-type reaction to PG, but most do not. Both are considered safe. PG e-liquid is reported to offer a better taste while vaping, and VG more vapor. Some do a 50/50 mix or variations thereof, in order to get both flavor and vapor. I personally get great flavor and vapor from an all PG on certain e-liquids. Using one or the other or a combination of the two will end up being a matter of preference. Hope this helps!

Hi, a belated welcome to the VT Forum! Initially I was drawn to Blu advertising. There was a link to Blu on my analog website that I ordered from. I continued to research e-cigs online and found this forum where ultimately I was able to make an informed choice to go with the Joye510 which simulated analogs. About a month and-a-half into vaping, I purchased a Janty eGo. Not everyone, but many like myself, needed to transition to vaping this way. Everyone has covered many particulars in this thread, and I guess all I would like to add is there are probably more details to master using a pv, i.e, which mod, which accessories, which e-liquid, but the end result will be very much worth it, i.e., feeling better (physically and mentally), feeling richer (less expensive than smoking analogs), and finally, being in a position to help others who haven't heard of this technology and want to stop smoking. I still entertain the thought after a little over three months, hmmmm...I wonder what an analog would taste like now? I guess with any addiction, you don't go there. Instead, I vape up a storm (18mg, RY4). As others have said, don't hesitate to ask questions. There are some very knowledgeable people who have been analog-free for a long time that continue to contribute to the forum. Best of luck!

I unfortunately do not have time to write more to this at the moment...but I could not agree more with this assessment...it is a no-brainer to follow the money trail and political connections for the impending regulation of the e-cigarette industry by big tobacco. This regulation and harassment by the FDA has nothing and will have nothing to do with our safety and future well-being. You might think it does and will, but trust me, if you do the research on how lobbyists work in government, the truth will be there. This is all about money!

Surprisingly after smoking analogs half of my life, my tastebuds woke up pretty fast, too. If you're using one atty for several flavors, it could be that one flavor is lingering in there somewhere and other flavors are having a neutral effect. You're going to find vast differences in the same e-liquid from different suppliers, and I'm afraid it's going to be experimenting initially. Some of this is the learning curve that you've read about. I know that it will work out for you, because it has for me. I know what I like at this point, and that's who I order from. Good luck!

Hi, quite a range here from the beginners to the veterans. I started out with the Joye 510 which I still use and graded up to an eGO. Those are the two pvs I have currently. I love both, but especially the eGo for the longer battery life. I am beginning to get every so slightly curious about variable voltage units, but I think I still have a ways to travel. I continue to read and learn on the forum.

First. I don't claim to be a battery expert but using LR (low resistance) atomisers/cartomisers comes with a price to your batteries and I don't mean just what you paid for them. Your standard 510 recharable battery comes with I believe a said 200 times rechargable rating which means if you recharge it 2 or 3 times a day it is only gonna last say 3 months at best but using LR atomisers/cartomisers stresses the batteries in the respect that they may not be able to be recharged as many times ( which you can't "see" this damage that you've done to the battery) , now your standard battery may only last a few weeks, same goes for the ego batteries at $20-$25 a/piece. Of course, this is the best case scenario that only just costs you more money for more batteries more often, when you stress a battery there may be other consequences other than just the money aspect of it. Justs my 2 cents.

People new to vaping want fast answers not sift through a bunch of videos! That why we are here on this forum! We answer their basic questions not send them on a wild goose hunt. We try to explain this to everyone in terms they can understand. This is exactly what turns people off to so many forums! People telling them to go search for anything! If you want them to see something SEND THEM A LINK TO IT! Don't make them look blindly for it. Remember, these people are new and may not understand the lingo or know how to do a specific search. Everyone is not computer savy and to take the route of telling them to go look for something IS NOT the way we do things here at Vapor Talk. We are here to help new members as much as we can, but telling them to go looking for something they may not truly understand in the first place is just wrong.
