Aaaand the Spinner finally bit it. It was working just fine for about an hour then phhhtttthhh. Done. It served me well for over a year of constant usage. Not bad, and I more than got my money's worth. Will need to stop off at my local B&M tomorrow to replace it. Don't wanna wait until April for the new V2, although I'll get one or three then. I really like the 1300 mAh for longevity and not having to charge it all the time.

But there are those of us that like to tinker with little screws and wicking small wires. LOL

You will definitely save loads of money as long as you don't turn it into a hobby.when I first started I was vaping for $15 a week. Now I spend a loooooooot in vape gear and different Juice. Just stay with it.

So figuring some things out.....
Here in MD our brands of cigarettes run about $7.01 per pack. We each smoked 2 packs a day, so $14.02 each per day. Multiply that by 2, you get $28.04 spent per day in cigarettes. Counting 30 days per month, that's $841.20.

Subtract $100 per month for vape supplies (because we are cheap and stick with the same stuff), that brings it to $741.20.

Add what we currently pay in rent ($545), and you get $1286.20.

My sister in law pays $1300 a month for her house. So instead of renting, we could theoretically be buying a house right now! Granted, we own our mobile home and pay lot rent, but it would be nice to not live where we are living.

When we realized this, it made us sick to our stomachs. Smoking not only lowers your quality of health, it also lowers your quality of LIFE! When my husband told his mom, she was sick. But honestly, when you're addicted to something, you don't think about the cost. You only think about the cost once you quit doing what you were doing. And now that we know, I doubt we will EVER go back to analogs.

At this time, unregulated..they can put rat poison in it if they think it tastes good, KNOW YOUR JUICEMAKER...the more I learn..the less I trust...Botique isn't all they wish it could be..and the more wrapper and packaging the better the juice better be or it's just a ******** cover ...

No we don't. The FDA has no regulations in place this is why Juice makers, reputable juice makers, regulate them self's closely. It is scary when I see things added to juice that don't need to be added. Or, see juice at bargain basement prices. I would rather buy top notch ingredients and charge a little more than cut corners to make it cheap. I have spent many hours over 4 years researching what goes into my juice. If an ingredient don't pass my scrutiny, it will not be in my juice. For example, I ordered some Belgian Waffle flavor from one of my flavoring resources. When I saw that it had a lot of sediment floating in the bottle, I rejected it. I'm sure it is fine for other uses, but I will not be using it for E-Liquid.

Let's see... I believe most of us agree that we like Kanger Pro Tank 2s but the coils have been iffy lately as far as quality is concerned. The KPT3 (dual coil), is pretty good. We also agree that the first batch of dual coils sucked but after redesign -- they suck less. It's still probably a better bet to use the single coils on them and make them into a KPT2 instead.

We're still recommending Vision Spinners or eGo Twists to our noobs, half of which don't listen and go buy an advanced mod that they can't figure out how to use and then argue with veteran vapers about how it operates and then wind up taking our first suggestion to buy a Vision Spinner or an eGo Twist. These usually go away fairly quickly. Those noobs who do listen and ask intelligent questions and know how to actually spell out words instead of using text speeeeek 2 try 2 meke u c there pnt -- stick around and add to the community. We have a fair number of really great new members now.

Also, we're still trying to impress upon the noobs that there really isn't a "best" out there, just a what's "best" for you. I think they think we're lying to them and not giving up our precious intel about the best tank, the best battery/mod, the best juice, the best American made nicotine, the best throat hit, etc. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Did I leave anything else out, guys and gals? I think I hit the main points.

ETA: Oh! And just so you know, Blu, I've finally got the hang of direct dripping and have brought a few of our new members into the fold. Thanks for all your help when I was just starting. Now, I'm working on building my own coils.

I have 3 mods and 3 atomizers that give me difference results depending on my mood, where I'll be vaping, as well as, what I'll be doing while I vape.

With my 3 mods I have:
A Cloud Chaser
A Flavor Chaser
and a vape in balance with clouds and flavor

My mood dictates what type of vape I want to produce

Where I'll be vaping asks the question "would a storm cloud be too much for where I am?"

Lastly what I'll be doing ask the question "would a lightning cloud be in the way of what I'm currently doing?"

If I'm in a crowded public place I do not want to be puffing clouds everywhere and causing too much unwanted attention.
Or if I'm driving I don't want to hotbox my car or mistakenly exhale in front of my face to obstruct my view of driving.

This is why I have 3 builds to my liking.

Is there any type of wire easily found around the house thats safe to use for coils that performs well? Im interested in trying a bread tie. I used one minus the paper and plastic to make a homemade cigarette lighter while in jail so im curious to know if anyone has tried this on a vaporizer.

I quit smoking about a year.
I smoked a just few cigarettes a day. I became allergic to tobacco smoke. I still have problems with the respiratory system.

Little experiment which shows what are you doing with your lungs during smoking. It can be good motivation to give up smoking ciggies.

Yeah sounds like better pins than I had. The pic shows brass the one sent had aluminum. The pic I posted is a new pic as well. The old pic they had up was a of a real Chi You that has brass pins. LOL Said Clone in the heading, so I wasn't sure what I would get when I ordered.

Nope, no tobacco juice yet, mind you is say Yet I have only found 2 tobacco flavors that are FDA approved for human consumption. I will start with those if I can get a good 555 out them I will.... Want to do an RY4 as well.

For me, it was to quit smoking, and it IS cheaper, excepting the equipment. I have NEVER gone more than three days without a cigarette. No matter what method I tried. Now, it has become sort of a hobby as well.

The minors who admit to trying e cigs probably do so because their parents no longer have analogs around, they have vaping equipment around, as the analog use among minors has gone down.

Only problem is, where a parent wouldn't notice a cigarette missing here or there, they sure as hell would notice a stick battery or device missing.
