    Hello there,
Been a long time since I was here. Since then I've amassed a bunch of stuff I don't use any more. Feel free to make me an offer via private message on the following batch:-
Miniecig ProYStick 26650 (barely touched/new/with box)
Sunbox Moonraker Nano, Black (tiny dings/with box/bag)
    GP Heron
    Squape RS

I'll throw in a goody bag of other bits (including two Spheroids!).
    Cheers,
    HP

Whilst I don't believe it is totally safe, there's no doubt it's leagues safer than actual cigs.

Plus your teeth don't yellow… it's cheaper… tastes better… and you don't reek. No brainer really!

Thanks mate - as per the other topic, ordered that AGA S and a Spheroid to boot. Looked into the minigen and was put off by it being 14.5mm vs 16 (i'd rather have that hole totally flushed out).

Couldn't find info on the battery type for the microstick, 18350… but can i use protected batteries on it?

    Hi folks,

I'm from Germany and maybe you'll be asking yourself what the hell does a German guy in an US forum?

To be honest I appreciate your attitude to vaping very much. I like your "sub-culture"-approach that appeals to me. Most people in the EU just see vaping as a plain and simple substitute for smoking, but in America (and also in the UK afaik) you created a whole vibrant and cool vaping-culture. That's great!

I am a nerd, totally fascinated by technical stuff and an experienced vaper. Maybe I can contribute a few interesting things to this forum, and I'm sure I will also learn a thousand things new to me.

    Cheers

Pls. pardon my crappy english, it's only my second language.

I got Christmas day off from work, so being able to spend the morning and day with my girls is all I want for Christmas. Their mother moved to VA a year ago, and it would've been horrible if I didn't get the day off of work. So yeah, I get what I want this year.

As for vape gear, maybe I will treat myself to some juice and a second RBA. If you guys want to pitch in and buy me the new King mechanical, I wouldn't mind at all.

Lets see in my vape world today, I got over an ounce of hemp, a sheet of Nickel Foam and some tiny *** rare earth magnets to put in my Nzonic clone and Hybrid switches.

The hemp will be replacing my cotton for wicks. The nickel foam is going to be used as a sleeve for my ss cable and mesh wicks. The foam is a fabulous wicking material, but not great to wrap coils on. Pictures later when i get a chance to play with it. I have to boil/rinse the hemp a few times so i wont get to play with that for a couple days.

He very well could have. He came from a broken home that the rescue organization "rescued" him from. His original owners tired of dealing with him early on, and tied him out, and the male person was evidently worse to him than the woman, because he had problems warming up to men, but not too many problems (but those first two days he was MY DOG and not hubby's dog), but finally after eight months, the cop that lived next door had seen enough and had the dog removed, and placed with a rescue group that specializes in bulldogs. He was in two previous homes, and they didn't want to give him a dedicated bed, and they got pissed when he ended up sleeping with them, or with their 2 year old daughter. We gave him a bed right next to ours, and never had an issue, except the first few weekends, he hadn't adjusted to our schedule yet, and he would jump on top of me at 7:30 or so in the morning, licking my face to wake me up so he could go out.

After a few months, he would just wake my oldest son up (yes, jumping on his chest, or headbutting his bed) because Devin WOULD wake up with him and pay attention to him, lol. Since Devin went to college, we've had to keep his bedroom door open so that the dog can go in and look for him - especially since he comes home one night a weekend to do laundry, so the dog expects him.

This weekend I and the other Den Leaders for my sons Cub Scout Pack took them "cave camping". It was a very cool trip but a couple of the parents were smokers and had asked if they could bring their "Nicorette" gum in with them. They asked since gum was expressedly forbidden so I told them I wasnt sure. Well as soon as we got into the cave the tour guide says "No Tobacco, No gum, No firearms, No open flame, etc.... One of the parents asked about nicorette and he said absolutely not.

I pulled the tour guide over to the side and asked him about vaping and explained it to him. He said that wouldn't be a problem. Since I always over pack I brought 4 fully charged Ego batteries and 4 full tanks of 24mg (just in case I was gonna have to sneak) I talked to the parents that smoked and set them each up with a battery and full tank to use for the trip and all 3 of them say they are going today to buy the starter kits. I sent them links and such but am sure they will just go to the B&M which is fine, their money. I was just proud to have led the way on hopefully a much healthier life for them and it all happened in a cave almost 2 miles below the earths surface!

Incidentally, even with 70pg liquids the vapor production is immense in 100% humidity lol.

My little guy, Mikey, got a bad cataract in his right eye and wound up having regular appointments with an ophthalmologist. His last two years he had an ophthalmologist, an internal specialist, his regular vet and a chiropractor. He had better healthcare than me and my SO. Lol. Still, he was a happy camper all the way to the end of his days. I hope your dog pulls through okay.

    Gefficart: followed! nice stuff

Worked in architecture for 7-8 years, now an estimator for a demo company. Manage to fit in some rendering stuff on the side, and play architect for various production companies around new york. Recent work includes a Samsung show room, British Airways event, and Target's 50th anniversary; at which Alicia Keys sung one song and p***ed everyone off by leaving early. Ah well. Not my cuppa tea anyway.

Long story short if you need renderings of something (mod idea for example) let me know, no charge… just 51% of the company shares. Cheers

    A Noobie's Guide to Batteries

While in the chat room one night, someone was asking if there was a guide for batteries. He was hearing all these battery numbers in the conversation, and not familiar enough to follow along. I decided to write this guide to help familiarize the noobs to all the batteries we use for mods.

All of the batteries we use are either 3.7volts or 3.0volts. There is however a 5volt battery used in the Mako Maksi, but it's not one of the popular batteries you frequently hear about, so I'll just concentrate this discussion on the 3 and 3.7volt varieties.

The 3.0volt batteries are primarily used in pairs for a total of 6.0volts for 6volt vaping, and single battery mods are 3.7volts. The 3.7volt batteries are usually only paired if the mod has a voltage regulator (adjustable or fixed) for consistency in voltage throughout battery life and load conditions. Now that you have a little background on how the batteries are used, let's try to make sense out of the numbering system.

The first 2 digits of the battery number indicate the dimension measuring across the battery. So a 10440 measures 10mm across, a 14500 measures 14mm across, and so forth, and the last 3 digits make reference to the length. For example the last 3 digits in a 14500 battery would suggest that the length would be 50.0mm long, but that would be for the unprotected version of the battery. The overcharge/overdischarge protection circuit will add between 2 and 3 mm to the length of the battery, so a 14500 is really 52.5mm long.

Aside from the physical size of the battery, there is something referred to as mah (milliamp hour) rating. This is a capacity rating of the battery, and indicates the amount of energy the battery can store. In other words, how long it will last between charges (more mah, more charge life). Physical size will affect mah ratings, and therefore smaller size batteries will typically have lower mah ratings. Some batteries are available in more than 1 mah rating.

Below is a listing of the more commonly used batteries in e-cigarette mods.

**This is not meant to be a complete list, so please don't shoot me of you know of a battery I didn't list.**

Most of the "experts" recommend using IMRs in mechanical mods. I buy AW IMR18350s from Vapor Kings.

Here's some information by Phil Busardo on why IMR batteries are recommended for use with mechanical mods & LR coils.
