  1. Okay, I was starting to try to find "reliable" places on the net to order all my Sigeli stuff/batteries/chargers/etc., but there is just so much out there! Where do you guys order your stuff from? So FAR, the cheapest I've found was Health Cabin? But I've never heard of them before, so I am slightly wary of ordering from them. I realize most of the equipment comes from China, but this way discounted more than any site I've ever seen, like $50 for the Sigeli Zmax v3. Vapor Alley comes in at 79.99. Free-cigs.com comes in at $69.99. Discount Vapers, $79.99. And I haven't checked the rest yet - I've spent all day on the phone dealing with other stuff. So any places I should look?
  2. Hate to bring up a dead thread, but I read somewhere that stacking the batteries was dangerous, and could possibly cause a short, that rather than stacking, go with a larger battery instead (sort of like the 18650). Is this no longer the case?
  3. The "tube part"? Isn't that the carto itself? Can't you just replace that? Are are you talking about the tube coming off the tank leading to the mouth piece? Can it come off and be replaced with a different one? And I'm sorry, I don't know a WHOLE lot about cartos/tank set ups, other than what I see on my hubby's....and he's gone right now, and his carto/tank is with him, so I can't look at it, so I'm kinda going by memory here.
  4. Wow, even with the Davide you are having the problem with coil gunking up your coil with Strawberry fields? BTW, I know you have a VV (the twist, right?) device, what ohm do you prefer the coil be? I'm just trying to make plans in advance for when I order all my stuff and when I order spare coils. The shop we bought my Davide at has them ON SALE for $17.99, and I know Discount Vapers sells them regularly for $14.99 (full size), so I'm not going through them to buy the Davides, even the minis, when I can buy it elsewhere cheaper. And again, thank you for the replaceable colored tip idea. Between the full sized and the minis, with flavors with similar coloring, that will help me keep my flavors straight.
  5. ROFLMAO! Medic, I like you! Just with that one statement, I didn't have to look below your avatar to know you were a man, though. Hubby and Dad do the same thing.
  6. Yeah. After three days, when the house started to air out (thank goodness for nice days with open windows!), I sat down on the floor in my living room, and noticed that the blankets, and even our BRAND NEW month old couch REEKED from cigarettes. Blankets got washed, EVERYTHING in the living room got hit with febreeze.
  7. Checking it out now, will more in the am. But the multicolored ones, they don't seem to have all the colors.
  8. Okay, now I have the same type of question. Bought a Turkish honey tobacco flavor second week after trying the sampler. The sampler was fine, I get it home, vaped on it a little bit, and couldn't vape on it very long because it was just HARSH (should have known that with the "turkish"). Once I got other flavors and Evods filled, I took it out of the rotation, but I have a freaking 30 ml bottle of Turkish honey now that has sat I don't know how long which I haven't touched. I do have a honey wood flavor - should I try putting a drop of it in my honey wood and see if they mesh well? Otherwise, I have 618 french vanilla tobacco milk chocolate honey wood sweet tobacco for samplers left we have RY4 (not really fond of it enough to leave it in an evod, too much tobacco, not enough flavor - if I was gonna vape that, I'd have to add something to it as well, but hubby might vape it all, so it's good) Bavarian Creme (the one that tasted burnt to me) And Cherry flue (it oddly tastes like wood to me) Could any of those help it out?
  9. But how long should you let them steep? I saw one reviewer let his steep for three weeks, for every flavor he got in to review. I'd heard a week, but our first sample pack came after about a week in shipping (screw up at our local post office and it was lost IN THE BUILDING), and we still had to let them steep several days. Couple of weeks ago I purchased Sweet Tobacco at the shop, and the girl checked with the owner, and he said it had been out long enough to steep, but I brought it home and it still had to steep for several more days.
  10. Oh! And B, the 510 drip tips are the ones that work with the Davide?
  11. Okay found it, wasn't looking on the post. So really, hubby found it for me. Only tape in the house right now is electrical or duct tape. Electrical didn't stay put once I tried to put it back on the battery, lol.
  12. Whoops, didn't see that. I'll look some more, I still have the page open. WAIT! No, look at the OP, it says she WANTS threaded, not push in.
  13. We have two stores in towns neighboring our own. One is a storefront opened by the website, like I've mentioned, Better Vapes. Since the online store existed first, they brew their own juice. The other one, the one we first went to, purchases MOST of their liquids from Better Vapes (so a bottle for $8 a Better Vapes is $10 at 3D). We got our starter kit there. We THOUGHT we were buying the standard eGo 900 mah starter kit. Opened up, looked at some things on the net. Nope, the sticks are a knock off, even though it came in a branded e-Go bag (which could just as well be a knock off). The big tip off was that nothing, other than the bag was branded. We've seen pics of the ego 900 - it should be branded down near the bottom, and it's not. So every time something acts out of the ordinary, I have to wonder, is it because it's a knock off, or is it user error? Just another reason to be happy that I'm getting that ZMax soon.
  14. *stares suspiciously* Why didn't it filter it for you?
  15. Okay, I may be blind here, but I can't find ANY holes, where are they?
  16. Yeah. I guess it's just because normally I start on the Davide and then hit the Evods later in the day that I noticed it. Well, I noticed it one other time, but my juice level was low (and we didn't have enough left to top it off), and my battery was being wonky, too, so I thought that might have been it. My battery died right before going to bed, (too quickly, something was weird about that), so I just took hits off hubby's before we went to sleep. The next morning I hooked straight into the Davide and didn't notice any problems. Of course, that's probably why when I switch over from 618 (in the Davide) to french vanilla tobacco in an Evod, the draw seems impossible. For some reason, the fr vanilla has a tighter draw anyway, so going from an airy draw to a tighter draw, and adding in that.....it will be nice to get all the draws nice and even when I get them.
  17. Oh, and I was wrong, B didn't order glass tips, he just ordered different colored tips (looks like plastic). Again, it's an avenue I'm thinking of going so I can color code my flavors.
  18. Okay, the oddest thing is happening tonight. I dunno, maybe it's because of my SEVERE anxiety tonight, and then I couldn't settle on a flavor, but tonight, when I fired up the Davide, it felt like I was drawing a whole bunch of air. I guess either because of the anxiety, or maybe most days when I hit the Davide, I hit it first thing in the morning, I noticed how much tighter the draw is, I guess, on the Evods over the Davide, at least, I THINK that's it. Unless there is something else going on, and I have no clue what it could be. Same 618 bottle as yesterday, so no pg/vg changes, still getting plenty of vapor. Other than going from the Evod straight over the Davide, instead of vice versa, the only thing I can think of is that I switched off from sweeter and/or richer juices (french vanilla tobacco, milk chocolate, honey wood) to the relatively muted flavor of the 618 without the extra flavor shot (that's still steeping). But as I'm sitting here vaping it, it makes me more sure that getting the Zmax is going to be a good thing, because I think the power needs to be bumped up on this flavor to hit it's sweet spot.
  19. Some people in the family have allergies or asthma. I still go outside in deference to them, in case it sets them off. In my own home, and other family members homes, I stay inside. The rule of thumb I go by is if it bothers a person's breathing if I wear perfume, then I won't vape around them, either. But hey, the first battle was won when my mom granted permission for us to vape in her house. My dad still has to out in the rain to smoke. Last winter, after he had foot surgery, he had a "special dispensation" and only had to go to the basement, but mom said he milked that for all it was worth. So now it's back outside which - truthfully, if he stands in the garage, which he tends to do if it's raining, it does no good because their attic sort of flows into the garage - there's no wall between the attic and the garage, so the smoke can still get in the house from there, lol. Mom hasn't smoked for 13 or 14 years, since they discovered severe femoral blockages, she quit between then and when she had her cardiac appointment because she was warned if she didn't, she had a very short life expectancy left. Then before she get in for her scheduled cardiac cath to check her cardiac veins, she started having chest pains, and ended up being taken to St. Louis, and 2 days later having a triple or quadruple bypass. She's had another scare or two, but she's been good since then, mostly.
  20. Currently, what's getting most of our business is Better Vapes, because while they've had an online presence for ABOUT two years, they JUST opened up a storefront about 15 - 20 minutes from us. I'll link you to their two tobacco samplers, but first, the 618 blend in the first sampler is what we started out with (and is still our main vape). My second most used vape is French Vanilla tobacco, in the second sampler pack. And sweet tobacco, I have it, and it's sweet without overpowering the tobacco flavoring. http://www.bettervapes.com/Tobacco-Sampler-1_p_224.html Also in the second sampler pack is American Red, which is supposed to be, I guess, analogous to Marloboro reds. I prefer my tobacco flavors to have other flavorings in them, and I had been using 618 for a good week before I tried the American Red, so I wasn't fond of it - plus, I haven't smoked reds in at least 10 years. http://www.bettervapes.com/Tobacco-Sampler-2_p_455.html We've also ordered some samples from Chi-Town, and I'm probably going to order a few more off them, maybe. As far as tea flavored, I know Better Vapes carries these, but I've never tried them (never had earl grey tea, either) http://www.bettervapes.com/Earl-Grey-Tea_p_182.html http://www.bettervapes.com/Green-Tea_p_186.html Like I said, the reason Better Vapes is getting most of our business because I can sample before I put any money down. Just so far, since we've been vaping, about 3 1/2 weeks, 4 weeks(?) it's been easier. But I'm watching posts and pulling up sites to figure out where to order more samples from next week - possibly Chi-Town and/or one other site.
  21. I had the same issue with a Bavarian Creme sample I tried. When I first tried it, I was tasting burnt something. So I switched the coil out again, thinking maybe when I had previously switch the coil, but dry burning the wicks I burnt them. Nope, still burned tasting. Tried rinsing out the Evod. Nope, still burnt tasting. Never could get past that burned taste to use even a full evod's worth of it. Wouldn't think you'd get that taste effect on Bavarian Creme, so I guess it was just a bad batch.
  22. This what you are looking for? Looks like a push in, not a screw on. http://www.discountvapers.com/drip-tip-ce4-anodized-magenta/ 93 of that color in stock at this time.
  23. Okay, it won't let me edit my previous post.....it blocked my word for um, steal it real quick out of your pocket? s n a t c h?
  24. That reminds me, b, if you use something that you need a glass tank for, you either need the metal or a glass drip tip, right?
