Patricia reacted to mommabird62 in New Provari
Patricia, they are stainless steel tank tubes that I got to replace the glass on the Aspire Nautilus was afraid that the glass would break being hauled around in my purse i got them from a dealer on ebay that had very good ratings. A search for stainless vape tanks will take you to his page. The charms can be found in the craft jewelry departments in the big box craft stores and Wally world. I get tips from Molehill Mountain and Drip tip Designs. Hope it's ok to post the names here-if not, mods let me know;)

Here's pbusardo's video. I find his explanations to be very easy to follow.

Here is the link to the lady that makes beautiful and unique drip tips out of glass. She sells adapters that make them fit my tank. They are pricy but worth the added beauty to me. : )

So pretty. Your a girl after my own heart. I hope you don't mind all the questions but what is the tank tube for and where do you get them? Which Nautilus do you use? Also, where do you get your cute little charms?

Patricia reacted to Earthling789 in Buying advice
Anyone starting out really needs two batteries and two tanks at a minimum. Starter kits like the EVOD are really good, and economical, considering you're getting two batteries, two tanks, a handful of coils, and a charger with each kit... which would probably run you an extra $10-15 if buying everything individually. The JoyeTech eGo kits (basic ones) are usually a bit cheaper, but you typically get disposable tanks with them... not a bad thing, but tanks with replaceable coils (like the EVODs) will give them more value, IMO. I'd get them started with a basic kit, and let them decide how to go from there... such as spinners/twists, MODs, tanks, etc. What works for you may not be their cup-o-tea
Be careful of starter kits on eBay... they may be a steal @ $20, but they are usually clones/knock-offs.
Kudos for wanting to help your family out... just don't go broke doing it, lol

Ebay strikes again. Not sure what is worse EBay vape gear fakes or those sold at mall kiosks. Pretty close.
Generally if it has Kanger on it, it works. Never had a problem with anything Kanger.

I currently use only 5 EVOD 1s and 5 of the EVOD 2, glass tanks and I do not have any leaking problems or coils burning out. I get very good flavor and vapor. Give the Genuine Kager EVODs a try, I think you will like them. I do. I do not use the EVOD battery though, I am currently using the Vision Spinner 2s. Great combination.

Patricia, I got the green display and the extension for the bigger battery. The glass tip should be lovely with it Here is mine with a new custom tip on it. The display isn't lit up but the green really looks good on it

Mommabird,
What color did you choose for your display and LED color. I'm ordering me one too. So pretty. I can't decide if I want the red or green color for display. Also did you get the extension? I'm really just reading about it now but I assume the extension is for a bigger battery? I've got my eye on a beautiful crystal ball drip tip to go on it from a lady who hand makes them from glass.

Provari is all "dressed up". I put a banded malachite tip on it. Nautilus has a ss tank tube that has dimples. And of course a doggie paw charm. I have another tip being made that will also match well

Patricia reacted to Compenstine in PG vs VG
PG Carries the flavor and adds throat hit. It is thinner so it will wick better.
VG Less Flavor (depending on the Juice Maker) less to no throat hit and creates better vapor. It is thicker and will not wick as easily.
Your Nicotine level will also affect throat hit in both.

Patricia reacted to Earthling789 in EVOD Glass starter kit
EVOD is plastic tank, plastic tip, and single-coil (cheaper)
EVOD2 is plastic tank, removable metal tip and dual-coil
EVOD2 Glass is glass tank, removable metal tip and dual-coil
Dual-coils burn a tiny bit more juice per "hit", and produce a tiny bit more vapor... they're also a bit more expensive (50% to 100% more cost).
The EVOD2 Glass are basically the same as a ProTank3 mini, with the difference of a metal shield around the tank on the EVOD version, and the PT3 mini is capable of full disassembly

Awesome, I am heading to the lake in a couple hours no rush. I will be extremely intoxicated by the wee hours lol.

Patricia reacted to Tam in Vision Spinner 2 question
The two-step charging isn't a problem, just a minor inconvenience, but now that I know to look for it, I'll be more aware and make changes to how I charge the thing. I really like the extra battery capacity too. One thing that I need to get used to is the new button. It doesn't stick out as far as the 1300 button and is really smooth so it's easy to overlook when I'm feeling for it unless I'm paying attention.

Patricia reacted to Compenstine in Briefcase type bag?
I agree with Chris, the Vaultz cases are nice. You can get them in store at Walmart in the Pharmacy section. They are located in the racks by where you pic up scrips.

Patricia reacted to Christopher in Briefcase type bag?
Yup! They have some by the safe area as well (larger) and if memory serves me correct in the crafts area too.

Yes they do. I like the combo lock idea makes for good child proofing.

Though it's not exactly a briefcase I use one of these to keep my stuff locked away from the kids:

They have them in different sizes

Just tried Fedoras Snickerdoodle first time yesterday. Now I don't want to put anything else in my tank.

Patricia reacted to Earthling789 in Has this ever happened to you
Interesting subject... my brother-in-law is a cop, and he was noticing my eGo with KPT3 mini over Mother's day weekend, and casually mentioned that it was "good that I didn't have one of those round, globe-tanks"... [then he chuckled]
Apparently they are told / encouraged to be on the lookout for the round, globe-style, dry-herb vaporizers while on patrol... and they are also given a pretty good education on types of equipment, too... He doesn't smoke, nor vape, but he was able to identify correctly that my tank was a "mini", and my battery was an eGo-style. Kudos to his department for educating their officers!

Got two more Vision Spinner 2s in today. Best Ego style battery ever made imo.
