I received Flavors from Vapor Craze that are crazy good. I won them on Mike the Hill Giant show, & they sent me like 120 mls to try. I love them all, love the labels, & highly recommend giving them a try. When/if I pull myself away from my obsession with vapolitics, I'll do a write up on them. http://www.vaporcraze.net

You know, I was talking with a friend from Norway, and he was telling me that cigarettes aren't nearly as physically addicting as we make them out to be. So talking to him tonight, there's literally four ingredients in cigarettes - tobacco, tar, nicotine, and C02 in Norway, and only 2000 people a year die from lung cancer. I always wondered how my bff, his fiance, could get by only smoking like 4 a day.

There isn't a best one out there. What's best for me and my Flavors & preferred resistance might not be great for & yours. With that said, depending on your delivery system, the Dna20's look promising, but too young to tell if they will hold up. I still say the Provari is the unbeatable one in craftsmanship, safety, materials, menu, & customer service.
Keep an eye peeled on PBusardo, igetcha69, Todd Reviews, Mike the Hill Giant, AG (almighty God, PetListServ) at YouTube.
The Provari really excels in every department.

The only thing that you need to watch out for in ss cable is to ensure that you are indeed getting Pure stainless steel cable. Not the stuff with the galvanized core down the middle. 7x7 or 7x19 seems to the best bang for your buck wicking wise. I use a 7x7 cable in my Rsst with an ekowool hat. Note the glass tank Rocking 1.1Ω with my Provari at 4.1 Volts.

I found an idea online to use a stainless steel cable as a wick. It rocks the vapor like nothing I have ever experienced before. The flavor that comes from it is better than cotton or a mesh wick. I have it setup in my RSST with a 1/8 inch diameter cable with a 1.8 ohm micro coil that is 5/64 inner diameter and just a little bit of cotton on the top under the coil as an insulator. I cut it with cable cutters to get a nice clean edge and torched the hell out of it. I wanted to make sure they did not send me something with zinc coating on it.

I have found thru trial and error that I no longer have to tip the tank to re-wet the wick at all. If I do that I am getting gurgling and it leaks from the air hole. I have to keep it below a 4 o'clock position or it will leak. This by far is the most flavorful vape I have ever had. I am only pushing it with 3.6v thru my evic and it is amazing.

I thought I would share this with everyone out there and see what others think.

They only extract nicotine from tobacco plants because it's higher concentrations. Nicotine is found in many other plants too.
    http://abouttesting.testcountry.com/2010/06/6-common-food-with-nicotine-content.html

So basically saying nicotine is a tobacco product is not entirely correct. It's just our cheapest and most abundant source.

    This from SFATA:

"It has come to SFATA’s attention that FDA has completed the drafting of its deeming regulation, and has submitted its proposal to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) at the White House. We believe that the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), the office within OMB responsible for reviewing proposed rules, is currently reviewing the deeming regulation now that the government shutdown has ended.

By law, there is no minimum period for OIRA review, but the maximum period is 90 days. If OMB approves the final draft, the proposed rule will be published in the Federal Register, and the public will be given an opportunity (likely 60 days) to submit comments, which FDA is then required to review and analyze in its final rule."

Hoping for the best... planning for the worst... expecting something in-between. I don't think anyone has a problem with age restrictions, or even some limitations on e-cig advertising. Those are the obvious first steps that most politicians will agree on. The EU recently rejected tight restrictions on e-cigs, and hopefully we'll follow suit in the US. As others have mentioned, I think it's going to be tough to ban flavors, and they're probably not ready to impose new taxes (yet). Guess we'll find out soon enough...

I have heard and read so much about the regulations on flavors and nic that have been passed around. I thought of something the other day. Im not sure if anyone has posted this, but if they have I am sorry. If they want to regulate that juice sold online can only be menthol or tobacco flavored. Why cant juice companies just mix up unflavored? If it is unflavored there cant be that much regulation other than the nic in it. I bet they would have a hard time regulating candy flavoring. Why would the mixers not ship the flavoring in the proper amount separate and you mix it when you get it? I dont know if my thinking and understanding of this topic is off, but it seems like a good idea to me.

While NPR/PBS tends to be more objective and less hysterical than the rest of the broadcast media this particular report still helps spread false claims and gives the biggest attention to an obvious opponent of e-cigs who merely states biased agenda driven opinion rather than fact while never being directly challenged or refuted.

Personally I had no intention of quitting cigarettes altogether when I started vaping. Vaping was intended to be a substitute while I was at work. Within a week I no longer wanted to smoke cigarettes despite my original intentions and despite the comparatively primitive e-cig tech available at the time. I can think of no example of a person young or old that continues to smoke and vape unless they're new to vaping and still in transition.

Unfortunately, as has become the norm in this country, government agencies will not act with even handed logic and reason when it comes to e-cig regulation. Our government gives every evidence of being corrupt and broken in just about any area they can wriggle their way into. Why should e-cig regulation be any different?

I think in order to be sold as a cessation aid, it would have be classified as a drug delivery system (which there was already a lawsuit over, and the courts ruled it a tobacco product; the patches are a drug delivery system) and they would, I believe have to tested, like, you know, FDA study/approval testing. I'm not positive though.

An almost 10 minute story on NPR. It seems pretty impartial, giving a balanced view.

I hope I am not in trouble for posting a link. Mods, feel free to remove it if it is a no no.

The story talks about the dual users, smokers who will vape indoors and smoke everywhere else. IMHO I feel that it will be a low percentage of the population of vapers. For me, I went to vaping to get away from analogs. I liked that I could do both for a couple of days until I felt comfortable moving all the way to vaping. And to tell you the truth, I probably had more analogs then I really wanted to just to finish the pack. I would have one burning in the ashtray while I was taking a toot on my PV, not even thinking about it. I realize that ecigs can not be sold as a smoking cessation product, but I hope that changes in the future. Because for me it was the tool I needed to get me over the hump.

I love the part at the end where the guy says that all of the PV's make you look uncool. That struck a positive cord for me... I'm not doing it to look cool... I'm doing it so I don't smoke!!!! That is the message that should be put out there.

Dr. Farsalinos has more than one study.
Dr. Michael Siegel, Dr. Farsalinos, and others have Debunked most of the negative studies. You need those too. ( France study found environmental traces, not ecig traces. That study was not done in pristine lab conditions. Interesting to note though, is the real pristine lab studies actually prove that eCigs are safer than some environmental air, but of course, because it wasn't a test for that it has to be dismissed)

There are other studies missing too, such as nicotine, outside of a conventional cigarette is not highly addictive, in fact, it's about the same as caffeine.

Let me take some time to gather the links

I've been wanting an organized list like this, thank you!,

Cool, I see the debunked in other places on the site. Good deal.

We're trying to put together a complete list of the most accurate, reputable and unbiased e-cigarette studies for our website. You can view our current list here:

Can anyone point us to any additional studies, research or reports that should be included in this list? We're trying to avoid biased research sponsored by e-cig companies or suppliers - hopefully we've done that so far. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
