As to further hijack the thread, I am also a herp enthusiast and my son genetically got the bug. He has an albino tangerine Honduran, a piebald ball python, an amelanistic corn, and an ornate box turtle. All were rescued from being abandoned in apartments in my area and dorms at the local college. Animal control has be on speed dial, I have rescued and relocated over 50 herps in the last year. I used to be a partner in Mid South Herpetological Supply back in the 90s when Crutchfield and others were just starting to get into the specialty Boas and Pythons and I had the pleasure of holding the first Leucistic Burmese Python documented way back in the day.

Good deal right there.Of course someones children won't get a meal here in the states.I don't begrudge suppliers a fair markup as they provide a valuable service to us.

Thanks Uma!!! You're right, there is no better feeling than that of self-reliance.....except for the feeling you get when having to reduce your nic level because your new Genny setup kicks like a horse. Though, the only 6mg liquid I have is a different flavor...and I don't wanna tear down my build because its been working so good!!!

Sweeeeet!!! Those coils are lookin' good.!! When you're hot you're hot.
LOL, I feel the excitement in your post too. It takes me back to my first coil and wick & how it felt to make something so foreign to me come to life. I love it. There's no feeling that can compete with self-reliance of our vaping.

Sounds like you have a lot of negative, and toxic people in your life. Sorry for being blunt, but its no wonder you cannot quit with your loved ones tearing you down when they should be supporting you during this endeavor. Even though you cannot get rid of these people in your life (coming from a toxic family myself, I do understand), you do possess the power to block them out. Do not verbally engage, because you can't win with these types of people. If there is one thing I've learned from a lifetime of dealing with my own addictions, demons, and negative people, it is that this is something that had to be done on YOUR terms. And remember, above all else, remind yourself that YOU are worth it and are doing this for YOUR own benefit...not anybody else's. As for how I quit.... Personally, I switched over to Vaping the second my first kit arrived in the mail. Like you, I never smoked more than a pack a day, so I started with 24mg for the first week (which made me hella sick). Then went right to 12, and have stayed there until recently acquiring a Genesis atty (those things will knock you for a loop when properly set up, LOL). I've also had a good group of friends around me who encourage rather than tear down....unlike my family. And, I've had this forum, and all the good people here. The membership here has helped numerous people out with everything from quitting the cigs to navigating the thousands of products being sold by hundreds of vendors. If you need anything, just ask. Someone will be glad to jump in with an answer. Good Luck, and Happy Vaping!!!

The important thing to remember, is to make sure your battery (or mod's battery) can handle the amps pulled. Not all batteries are the same.

Headsup!! If you prepare your wick the non-oxidized way by only pulsating the coil, you'll need a fresh battery a few hours off the charger to no lower than 3.8v. The pulsating action takes a lot of juice from the battery.

If you oxidize your wick, like I do, you'll want a 3.8-ish battery or the current will be too strong for your new coil and they'll pop easier.

    Clear as mud?

Awesome!!! How do you like it so far? Was toying with the idea of getting a K100 kit to get kick-started into the world of mechanical mods, but I am not too keen on the look of the mod. Still a great value, so I cannot rule it out just yet...

I have to agree on a lot of those points and after almost 4 years there's a lot that I am in the dark about but I know what I like. And as for the Bozo comment, I resemble that remark!!! lol

Don't let these bozos confuse you, Grant...everyone here is too nice and helpful, LOL!!! :p The world of e-cigs can sometimes be really confusing even to the veterans. There are hundreds of vendors selling thousands of products, with more being released, tested, and reviewed daily. Knowing which one to go with is never a "for-sure" thing....no matter what the Provari fanboys on that "other" forum will try to have you believe. The best advice I could give you at this point is to not put too much pressure on yourself. You've already taken the first step towards a cleaner, healthier lifestyle by having the desire to make the switch. So, be patient and take some time to do some research, and ask questions before jumping headlong into anything. In time, all this foreign terminology you're now encountering will make perfect sense. May I suggest that before you do anything else, get on YouTube, and look up Pbusardo. His channel is jam packed with product reviews and tutorials. However, the one video of his I'd recommend as "Required Viewing" would be his "Beginners Guide to E-Cigs" that he did at the beginning of this year. That video alone should clear up a lot of confusion you may be having at this point. Welcome to the forum, and the world of Vaping!!!

Per a suggestion from Uma, this thread is being created for people to post up links to vendors selling spare parts for our RBAs. Hopefully, we can all work together to assemble an up-to-date "Master List" for anyone to reference. When posting a vendor link, please include which specific RBA(s) the vendor "supports" (stocks parts for), and a general list of parts stocked. Example: Vendor: http://www.discountvapers.com Supports: AGA-T Parts: glass tanks, o-rings, screws, Allen wrenches Thanks for your help!!!

Check for supplies at Stormy's Cellar, Discount Vapers, Hoosiers, and so forth. I hope you find what you're looking for! That's the biggest problems with the china stuff, finding bits and pieces needed. Be sure to post a link ... oh, better yet, start a Thread here in the RBA section called "Spare Parts" or something and we can post our finds there.

    Dan! You bet I will!
It's had it's boil bath, and is air drying as I type. I'll torch it to remove the excess moisture and particles, and ... get back to ya!

VapeMail arrived....and I'm surprised my postman hasn't taken out a restraining order on me, because I've been waiting for this one!!!! I Finally decided to take the plunge, and got myself a MOD. Hate on cheap Chinese clones all you want, but the Sigelei mechanicals show a lot of promise. Out of the box, it vapes really well. Their MODs have a good heft, and are very well machined. The fit and finish scream sexy!!! However, as long as one knows what they're getting into, for around $30 and a couple hours of tinkering, one could have an outstanding MOD that performs. Here it is in 18650 mode with RSST. Energy drink can shown for size reference. 18350 mode with standard atty for dripping. In the future, I would like to obtain a very select few "high-end" devices. While I could save for one, I'm a broke college student, and cannot afford to screw up a $200+ device that took me months to budget for. The Sigelei mechs and K100 are a perfect solution for anyone on a tight budget seeking a durable, and quality mechanical MOD!!!

Congrats to MSE on his one year!!! And, thanks for the link, Uma!! I just picked up a RSST to go on my new mod, but still need to get mesh and wire. Does anyone have links to a spare tank, o-rings, and other misc. RSST parts?? Honestly, I'm not a fan of the opaque polycarbonate tank it comes with...but, the ease of use was the selling point, so I cannot complain too much.

Long time no see. Life has been a little chaotic these last few months. Between work and a new baby I've been going 10 different directions at all times. I've posted very few times since mid Feb. I apologize and hope to be back to the normal now...maybe.
Anyway, I picked up the RSST about a month and a half ago. Works well, looks great. I'm not a fan of the spring. I've been loving it overall though. To me it looks a lot better than my aga-t2. It also isn't as heavy which is a plus. Definitely get it Uma. You should easily enjoy it. I'm still on my first coil. I don't even remember the ohms it's been so long lol. 10watts on my stinger works like a champ. Glad to be back!
    Happy vaping.

Oh btw, hit my one year on Mar 15...lol pretty wild.
