There are some power packs available, but it's been a long time since I've looked at any. Notcigs is working on a eGo sized variable voltage mod that will have a USB PT ability. May be something to keep an eye out for.

Yippie!!! Thanks everyone! It's been an amazing journey and I'm glad it all happened here at VT!

Wanted to give an update on my wife. You may recall that she had a difficult time trying to vape, but finally did make the switch in March of this year. After vaping for about 7 months the was able to quit completely! Woot!!! She still keeps an eGo handy just in case, but hasn't used in a several weeks.

Beta testing on the VVPV from Notcigs is promising. Don't know what the release date is going to be, but hopefully soon.

I mostly use 80/20 or 70/30. For some reason I tend to taste VG, so if I go any more than 30% I start to taste it. 80/20 and 70/30 seem to be the most popular.

From the vid, I just don't see how it can be any better then the original eGo-T. My issue with them was consistency. When you get one that works right, it works great. For a while I was quite happy with the eGo-T, especially since that's what my wife used exclusively. However, after the first few worked flawlessly, I started having issues. I went through 3-4 in a row that just sucked (leaking, dry hits, etc). I don't see how the eGo-C can be any different. The only benefit I see is that you have easier access to the wick if you want to fool around with adjusting it.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! As Chris said, you can't go wrong with an eGo. I would go with the manual button though - it's not as cumbersome as you may think... you get use to it quick. I haven't tried the eGo auto batteries, but my early experience with some regular 510 auto batteries wasn't good. They started out great, but it didn't take long before I had issues with them not activating and eventually they stopped working completely (I only used them occasionally, so they weren't heavily used). Since they are activated by the draw of air through it, they are not sealed and juice can leak inside the battery unit. I believe this is what happened to me - juice got inside and clogged up the sensor.

Provari at 4.2v with an SSR (CE2 tank mod).

However, I got my first 306 atty the other day and have been using it on an eGo battery direct dripping for a couple of days. I gotta say that 306 cooks! I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. Odd thing is that it's not LR, but it crackles and vapes like it is. I checked the ohms and it's 2.7ohm, but it puts out some crazy vapor. So, looks like I'm going through another change. LOL!

    Welcome to Vapor Talk!

Look into the eGo. The standard batteries are 650mah and generally last 8+ hours. You can also get them in 900 and 1000 mah. The standard 510 battery is 180mah and will only last 1-2 hours max for a heavy user (I got about an hour from them).

If you're looking for something a little bigger, check into some mods like the Silver Bullet from Altsmoke.com or the Bombshell from Hotvapes. They use a replaceable 18650 battery that is 2600 mah and will usually last most vapers all day or more.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! I looked at their website and that looks like it may be a KR808-D1 model (can't say for sure though). It uses cartomziers (one piece that screws on to the battery)? If you're using cartomizers, I would recommend that you top them off regularly (don't let them run dry). You should just be able to pop the top off and drop 8-10 drops into it every now and then (drip onto the filling, not down the center). Other advice, take longer slower drags - it's not like smoking a cigarette. Drawing to fast and hard keeps the coil from heating up enough to vaporize the juice and it can also cause you to get juice in your mouth.

One thing to keep in mind by the way, the forum now auto saves your posts so there isn't as much of a need to copy and paste as their used to be. If you loose your page or refresh, when you come back to the quick reply box a "View Auto Saved Content" link will show on the bottom of the box. That will reload your last auto save

If you want a juice with more VG, you may want to try the Organic juice from VapeRite. It's 100% VG, but somehow it's not as this as normal 100% VG juice. That's all my wife uses and it works great in the eGo-T. She like the Waffle and Blueberry Pancake. I'm not much on them, but she loves them. I do like the VR4 tobacco - very nice flavor.

On the tank, you can pop out the little mouth piece and the one directly underneath it. See the hole (the air hole on the part you put in your mouth)? Just stick a paper clip or something in it and pop it out. Just below that is another one you can also pop out. I found this gave me a better draw, better vapor, and it keep you from getting juiced. Condensation can build up around the air hole and eventually you will suck it through (yuck). It's the first thing I do when I get a new tank. And no, it won't leak.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! Looks like you're on the right track. I agree with everyone else - get a few more flavors. When I ordered my first kit I got two 30ml bottles of one flavor and one 30ml bottle of another flavor. They weren't very good, but it didn't take long to get some new juice in. Several months later I tried them again and they were still awful. LOL! 90ml of juice down the drain.

    Hi Jennifer,

I'm new to vaping myself. I've had my eGo-T for almost two weeks now.

    1. You can use a 50/50 PG/VG mix. I've read here that that's the highest you can go. I personally enjoy this mix as it's a good compromise between vapor production and flavor. Also, I've found that a pure PG mix has the best flavor and OK vapor production. Pure VG mix has great vapor production and 'muted' flavor. I've used pure VG juice in both a normal and LR eGo-T atty without any problems.

    2. Sorry I haven't tried them yet.

    3. Yes I did notice some dehydration -- nothing major, just that the back of my throat was drier than usual.

    4. I felt some anxiousness but that was offset by the novelty of it all!

    Other observations:
I've found that completely filling a tank so that there's no air bubble when it's inserted into the atty will cause a few dry hits with a really bad burning taste. I fill it up so that there's a bubble about half the size of a pea left in there. If you haven't already done so, try buying some silicone rubber caps for your tanks. That'll really help with leaking issues or stop them completely. In the beginning I was taking extremely hard drags, like trying to suck the universe through the atty! Take gentle drags; gentle drags and silicone caps have completely eliminated my leaking issues.
