  1. That guy's going to blow his face up being so reckless. And we wonder why vaping is getting such a bad name.
  2. You unscrew the bottom of the iClear 16, unscrew the coil and put in a new one.
  3. When is the last time you charged the battery? Could it be that the battery needs to be recharged? If not that, have you tried changing to new coils? Do you know what type of tank you have? If you could post a picture, that could help.
  4. Moved this to "Report a bug or problem". @Christopher can you take a look to see what the problem might be, please?
  5. Looks like the VT signature block is there for you already, Spydre.
  6. You're right, but since I've gone from 24 to 3 using the same gear (battery and atomizer), I figure it's just a matter of time now.
  7. I've been vaping since May 2012, and it's been on my mind for the better part of this year. Making sure batteries were charged, all back ups were packed, carrying extra juices... I didn't mind for the longest time, but in the last several months I've been finding it to be tedious. Also, when I go out, vaping is starting to be looked at like smoking cigarettes. Finding a place to vape that isn't imposing on others is also starting to feel like the old days. When I first started vaping I was at 24 mg of nic. Now, it's at a steady 3 mg and dropping. Before too much longer, I may be putting my vape gear in the pay-it-forward pile. Only time will tell, but the nice thing is that there's no pressure, I can do this when I'm ready. That's the beauty of vaping, I guess.
  8. You said you put your old coil back in? If that's the case, put in a new coil instead. It's already been established that the old coil could have a short in it, which is why it's not performing like it should.
  9. That's what I thought but was hoping there might be some trick... Okay, remove screw, insert syringe, take out as much juice as possible and then... let the mess begin!
  10. It just took awhile to get it dialed in... much like the subtank mini. Got a question for you, Earthling. On the last refill, I got lazy and didn't change the wick. Now, I'm finding I need to. Badly, lol. Anyway, can I do that even with a full tank of juice just like any other tank or is there something different I need to do?
  11. Although I'm liking the Subtank mini and Russian 91% more and more, my all-time favorite is still the Custom Cisco Spec Hybrid HH.357 atomizer at 2.0 ohm, 100% PG Custom drip shield from Empire Mods 2.5" stainless steel pipe style drip tip Eleaf iStick 50W With way too many toys to choose from, this is still my favorite, dependable set up.
  12. No halo, they keep getting caught in my horns. lol
  13. LOTS! I'm giving away many of my other back ups so I really don't have as many as it may seem. There will be a few iStick 50w that will also be finding new homes.
  14. Got my order for four more iStick 50w in from 101 Vapes today.
  15. For the first two to three tankfuls that I got the Triton working for me (using 1.8 ohm coil on iStick 50W), and chain vaping... it never got hot for me.
  16. I am. As of today's vape mail, I have nine of these things. Can you tell I like them? So far, of the five I've been using every day, I've not had one auto-fire and the threads on my tanks are all fine. There is one Kanger subtank mini, one authentic Russian 91% version 2, and one Anyvape Davide full-sized with an Aerotank airflow control on three of them. One is charging at the moment and the other one has a Custom Cisco Hybrid HH.357 atomizer on it. That said, when I charge them, I never leave them to charge unattended. Tanks or atomizers are all taken off and the iStick is turned off first. With everything I use, I clean the connection to keep it clean and dry frequently and/or when I change tanks or refill, etc.
  17. I chain vape my subtank mini but I'm using a 1.5 ohm stock coil right now, 12 watts with airway mostly restricted on my iStick 50W and the tank doesn't get hot at all. All I get is flavor and lots of vapor.
  18. How do you know that the tests they ran (if they really ran any), are true? You're just taking their word for it or from what's on their website, right? Unless you've seen the facility yourself and conducted empirical tests, how do you know that these results they posted are true and accurate? It's too easy to put numbers out there from (pick your acronym of the week) lab and say these things are true. Until there is some way to get true results from an unbiased source, I'll keep using common sense and my own research, thanks.
  19. But can I eat the apple in the Buick at 0.7 ohms?
  20. If you can get it working, I think you'll be very happy with it.
  21. Yeah, I think I took you waaaaay too literally. lol
  22. So many new TC mods coming out every day, it's hard to figure out which one is favored.
  23. It's only the 20W that has the issues with the wattage. If you switch it to voltage, it's better. We always stress getting back ups of everything. Then, get back ups for your back ups. When you've got those, get back ups of your back up back ups. Seriously, you'll never be sorry to have several back ups. One time, my battery died on me. I got my back up battery. Wouldn't you know it? I'd forgotten to charge it. Got my other back up battery. Dead as a door nail. My fourth back up battery worked just fine. Then, the coil in the tank died. Thankfully, I had more coils with me and made the switch. I was so happy to have had as many back ups as I did because I was out for the day and wouldn't have time to go back home to get more.
  24. That's a safety thing. You can charge it with the tank on or use it while it's charging. I prefer not to take any chances, which is why I keep lots of back ups to use while a different battery is charging. No, I've never had any problems with my iStick 50W, nor have I had any issues with a loose power button. I just don't take chances and try to take all the precautions that I can to make sure I don't. I do not own 20... only 5 with 4 more on its way.
