If I remember right, Coil-Master.net (Chinese vendor) was spamming members via PM to do a review on their product so they'd offer to send them a free one. That's where I first saw the kit, I believe Tug got one from them.

I have some with the airflow controllers and they really are wonderful -- probably as close to perfection in a tank that I've ever seen. Simple, dependable, low maintenance... what more could you ask for? Thanks again.

Thanks, Earthling! I just ordered two more for when I'm introducing noobs to the wonderful world of vaping. If we do a @bcarter98, I wonder if he'll see the bat signal?

I guess you could cut off some cuffs off a button down shirt so there's somewhere to put the cuff links... if you really wanted to wear them Your dinner sounds good too. Did you add a little white wine to go with the fish?

And here's the behind the curtains look... The water goblets are "fun" and that makes my SO's father actually drink the water, which he doesn't do during the day. Our table manners are far less than stellar. And we were all "dressed" in tank tops and shorts for dinner, lol.

Okay, I finally remembered to take pics. This is only half of the kabobs I made before grilling. And this is the whole meal after it was grilled along with a cucumber, tomato salad and some onion fried rice.

Just finished a great meal... *burp* 'Scuse me.

You might want to keep in mind that the Eleaf iStick 20W is well known for not giving accurate readings on power in wattage mode, it runs hotter than what it says. Your best bet is to set it to use voltage instead of wattage for a more accurate reading. Just my two cents.

Googled the auto firing and it's scary all the accounts out there. Thankfully, I've not had any problems with mine, but I will be keeping a closer eye on them and taking every precaution from here on out.

Sorry to hear you've had such trouble getting in touch with the manufacturer. I hope your local B&M can get it resolved for you. Please keep us updated.

Every time I refill a tank or do anything, I always clean the little bit of juice that's in the connection. So far I've not experienced any problems at all and I only use the 50W these days. I'll keep my eyes open for any problems. Thanks for the heads up!

Which is better? There's really no such thing, it's more "Which one will I like better?" And the only one who can answer that is you. The .5 will be a hotter vape, the 1.5 is a little cooler. My personal preference is a 1.8 ohm coil. With the Nautilus, I believe you have the choice of a regular coil or a vertical coil. I like the 1.8 ohm vertical coil better. You'll have to try them for yourself to see which one works best for you. Whatever you get, remember to start at a low power setting, vape. If it's not what you like, turn it up a little. Vape. Repeat until you get a slight burnt taste or a harsh vape. Then, turn it down just a bit and you should have found the "sweet spot" for your coil and juice combination.

You said it was a gift, are you sure it was a genuine Eleaf iStick 50W and not a knock off? I've got five of them and none of them has ever done anything like that, not saying that they couldn't but... Where did your SO hear about the auto fire issue? I'm interested because I do have these and don't want to find that it can double as a hot plate. I'm glad you weren't hurt when the thing go so hot!

My vote would go for an iStick 50W and Nautilus BVC. Whatever you end up getting, make sure you order more coils to go with it.

Subtank mini RBA Plus from Mt. Baker Vapor and Kidney Puncher replaced my Triton! Double checked before and after cleaning to make sure the juice flow controller is working correctly and it is. Have juice in it now and am waiting very impatiently for the coil to soak up the juice.
-
Or... it could be your juice. Not just the PG/VG levels, but it might be worth trying a different company. There are some juices that I can't vape no matter what the ratio from certain companies. It's weird, I know, but something you might want to consider.
-
Could it be you caught a cold or possibly allergies? Those might also be the culprit. Hope you feel better soon.

I posted this in the "Latest Products" or whatever the name was (it used to be "New Product Watch" or something like that?). Anyway, this is a test and a duplicate (of sorts), post.

With the temperature control craze going on, it's about time Legal Vape 4000 jumped on the bandwagon.

The muffin man is cute, but I am having the hardest time getting that stupid song out of my head.

4400 mAh only lasts you a "few hours"? What in the world are you doing to it??? lol

I have to agree with Earthling on the iStick 50W and the Kanger Pro Tanks. As you've already experienced, it's not a good idea to have only one set up. When something goes wrong with the only thing you have, you're pretty much SOL. We recommend back ups. Many, many back ups. Or as many as you can afford and then build on those so you're never without should something go wrong. The Eleaf iSick 50W is a solid variable voltage/variable wattage battery with 4400 mAh so it could easily last three days on one charge. They're very rugged and feel good in the hand. The Kanger Pro Tanks have proven themselves to be very dependable with great performance (otherwise they wouldn't have lasted this long). With the right juice, you can create quite a bit of flavor and vapor at a very low price. The replacement coils (don't forget those!), are very inexpensive as well.

Along with what Earthling said, I would also chime in with a, "how much power are you using? What wattage/voltage do you have your battery set at?" With the Triton, are you using factory coils? If so, what's the resistance of the coil you have in the tank? If you're not using factory coils but got the separate RBA deck, what resistance did you build your coil at? If I were you, I would flip your ratios around so you have 40 PG/60 VG at the very least. That's what I was using on my Triton at 3 mg with a factory coil of 1.8 ohm coil, airflow halfway open and 12.4 watts. Take into consideration that you're only into vaping 3 - 4 months. Your body is still undergoing significant changes (healing) from getting away from cigarettes and all its thousands of carcinogens. Have you been coughing up stuff? If you're not already, start increasing your liquid intake -- more specifically, your water intake. Not coffee or tea (those are diuretics) or soda or juice... just plain water. Vaping dehydrates you so the more water you drink, the better you will feel as it will also flush out toxins from the cigarettes.

Yes. What is it that you're sending me, Bebop?
