  1. Sometimes the distributor is out of stock, because he makes them in his home shop. There are also production issues and limits a machine shop can do. Not all vendors are buying EVERYTHING directly from China. For those that do rely on China (batts, nic, attys/cartos, etc.) there is a concern of orders being seized still. I wouldn't imagine the smartest thing to do would be to put in 1 giant order for the year with the risk of not receiving it. About the only thing I see a huge surplus of anywhere are overpriced pre-filled stick bat kits. I don't buy into your philosophy that ""In this day and age, "out of stock" means "low on business management skills."" Not in this industry. In addition, the products are changing and advancing quickly. You stock todays hottest items and it could change tomorrow.
  2. I found that the atomizers were an issue for me. Between poor taste/lack of flavor and hard pulls with bad wicking- it was not a good experience. I only tried 3 tanks when they were newer, but the atty and poor wicking were issues IMO. This is coming from someone who stove-pipes however.
  3. Lol. I didn't hit enter, it submitted itself. I went back and edited it too and I guess I didn't post. So if you.
  4. Keith- just know that if you do get the smaller analog looking device, it has poor battery life and most come pre-filled with a less than desirable ejuice. The batteries are quite expensive comparatively. ...one vape from an Ego with good juice will cure you- and the thought of getting a stick style ecig. That's just my two cents. As many have found, starting with stick batteries and quickly replacing them is a right of passage to vaping. Good luck and enjoy!
  5. 5 days from a carto isn't a bad run- is it? I "think" the MV tanks are from China. MAP makes his own (and he is a good guy). If I were to buy a tank, it'd be a MAP.
  6. Looks like your question is answered. I echo the above comments. I have several devices and still use my ego almost daily. As far as making the switch- most of us have tried everything out there to stop smoking and have failed until we found ecigs and vaping. The ecig is a miracle. Don't delay
  7. Have you considered buying some juices and re-filling or filling your own? Much cheaper, and better flavor.
  8. Ok. I'm on a quest for the best rebuild-able atty. Does the Bullie wick like the T-tank? It looks sharp as hell, but wick fed is still wick fed. ...I'm kind of obsessing with the thought of building a genesis. Seems like flavor wouldn't be diminished when you burn your wick if you don't have one that burns. Any input?
  9. It's reset to keep a fair, up to date list and archived so you can see how well any vendor on the list ranked in the past. What do you all feel the proper time should be before it's reset?
  10. Vote!! It's your duty as a vaper or something~
  11. Multiply that by how many people have read without posting- VT Rocks!
  12. That's one of my problems with trying more of these. My bro uses ce2 clearo's and I bought him some ce3's at VC- they leak like crazy- juice goes straight through. Even the "good" ones were fail for me. Leaking is not an option, nor improvement. So far the smok tech dual coil XXL mega is good, but it needs to stay that way for at least a few days if not more. Can you suggest a carto that doesn't leak, tastes good and wicks well with VG? Long lasting is a bonus, as is a low non-DOA rate. I have a feeling that a lot on that list would be eliminated if performance was one of the criteria.
  13. Funny Dayvape! I'm actually sitting here vaping on a smok tech dual coil xxl mega carto at 1.5ohm on a PT- and it rocks. Generally though, I'll grab my REO or other pv and go without having to worry about anything. And as far as the cost of a REO- it cost of a bit more than 10 days of smoking for me. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I'd say if you haven't tried a carto- try it. If you haven't tried a tank and have been thinking about it- do it. Neither one have been my choice, but they are cheap enough to try. Attys and cartos are disposable. No need to commit to something until you know that you don't like the others. Also- products are constantly changing and improving.
  14. Depends on the flavors and your tastes. If you vape a cinnamon or a menthol- it will stay in the atty longer and mask any juice after it for a period of time. I don't personally have an atty for every flavor- but my main vapes are similar and work together. It really depends on what you are putting in it. You might want to dedicate an atty or two to the stronger flavors.
  15. Also look for the 1000mah or higher for at least one of your batteries- it'll last longer through charges. Good luck and get ready to quit smoking the fun way~
  16. You can order 3 samples in that offer. Dave will actually replace any bottle you don't like for pretty much any reason. Top notch vendor. My favs are the cherrywood and maplewood, which might not be the most popular juices he has- but I dig them. I've tried the vanilla and it's not my thing- but I know a lot of people really like it. The kentucky premium line is not sweet, and most of the flavors are quit subtle to me. His fruit line is a different story. Enjoy your 3 samples and let me know what you think.
  17. I too really like the Bobas Bounty. Give vermillionriverejuice a shot. They have the kentucky premium lineup that is not too sweet at all. It's a great all day vape IMO. He ships samples for the price of shipping and there is a 10% off sale right now (plus the ECF coupon code for more off).
  18. I've heard a lot of good things about the smoketech cartos. I use LR attys on a REO Grand (bottomfeeder) personally. You should try a joye LR atty and compare to the dual coil cartos and find out what suits you better (don't put LR attys on your current setup). Don't be afraid of the size of the Ego- it's really not that large, and it gets the job done. The Ego is versatile. The ego-T has a wicking atty, which gets a lot of complaints. I'd never go back to that style of tank after trying 3 of the attys. A lot of people us a MAP tank with a dual coil carto and have good things to say about it. ...you can get those right here at the VT store. Buy backups. (batterys, juice, cartos/attys) Hope this helps.
  19. Wow. Where to start? There are so many options. How do you like your kit now? If you want to upgrade, an ego would provide longer battery life, and also allow you to use an LR atty or carto (warmer vape that simulates a higher voltage vape). You should also be able to almost double the amount of juice you are getting for that price- along with increase the quality if you try some of the vendors out there. A lot of vendors do samples and smaller bottles so you can find something you like quicker and more economically. The vaportalkstore has some great juice, vermillionriverejuice has free samples if you pay shipping (and I can vape this all day long), Boba's Bounty from AVEJuice is very popular, also check out guidetovaping.com for a changing list of popular juice vendors. The VT forum here is invaluable- poke around and learn, or ask questions here and you'll find the cure for your vaping ailments. I don't use cartos, but a lot of vapers rave about the dual coils. Someone will be around shortly to chime in on where to get the best deal on cartos. Good luck, and welcome to VT!
