  1. You're not alone. Lots of people have been having the same issue. Send it back for a repair.
  2. I agree with the preference thing. I tested it by giving my brother a new one. He said I could have it back after a week of testing it. He still uses CE2's. I still think I got a bad one or two.
  3. Exactly what I got- a dry, scratchy vape with no flavor.
  4. HAH! It was a piece o crap from the get go. If that's the vape you like- more power to ya, but mine didn't review so well. I might have gotten a dud. I would be very surprised if you liked the one I tested. ..and if you did, you are very easy to please. It just killed the flavor. I'm thinking I need to try another as I hear many users that like them.
  5. Hey JRock! ...just catching this thread a bit late. ...hope you are doing better. ProVari FTW.
  6. The flavor usually decreases with higher voltages- but it does depends on the juice and atty resistance. The benefit of higher voltage is that you don't have to pull on the pv as long- it gets the job done quicker. The hits can be warmer, more vapor and also more TH. You'd have to find your sweet spot to figure out what voltage is for you- but between 4.2-5v on an LR atty is pleasant IMO. Any higher and you should be using a SR atty and you might want more volts than 5v with SR. Again- it depends on your sweet spot.
  7. I too found the first one I tried didn't appeal to me- it was the Cherrywood that Schlitzy was raving about. I kept trying it every so often and out of the blue it became my favorite all day vape. I now prefer the maplewood, as it has a better TH and is a nice flavor- but all of the kentucky premiums are good in their own way IMO. I get a strong scent from all of the premium line- but I think it's caramel. I can't taste or smell the hazelnut, that I can tell. OK- this is YOUR review, not mine. ...Can't wait to read what you think about the others.
  8. I haven't seen much talk about the juice. What juice flavors are you vaping? I find that while I like the taste of a lot of different flavors, there are only a few that really do it for me. When you find your favorites, I think you will discover the ones that get you through the more difficult cravings. Are you trying a lot of sample sizes?
  9. Looks like the questions have been answered, but I have to just say that "I agree". Get one. You can easily sell it if you don't like it- they are a hot item.
  10. Great review on "what NOT to start out with". Break the rite of passage- noobs deseve better.
  11. Everything I've tried from Johnson Creek was horrible. They put it out on the tables at Vapercon and it looked like most of it stayed on the tables. I think JC was good when nothing else was out there- but not in this day and age of endless options. ...just my 2 cents.
  12. Also- make sure to try an LR atty. This will provide a warmer, heavier vape. The battery upgrade alone will only do so much.
  13. 70/30 or 60/40. ...because the 100% PG are always lacking for me.
  14. I think that when the kick is out, all sorts of mods will become "usable" again. It's going to be a game changer for sure!
  15. There are a lot of older vids just like that from 2011 too. WTH?
  16. LR atty's FTW. I find the flavor lacking in most cartos too.
  17. Welcome! ...I'm putting monkey butt in the crock pot tomorrow. Coincidence?
