  1. I generally run between 0.15 to 0.6 depending on the tank and juice I usually use SSOCC 0.15 in my toptanks and 0.2 or 0.3 in my RBA's and RDTA's .... but my AIO uses 0.6 which is great for some of my desert flavors.
  2. Nicotine is a Poison! The active ingredient in e-liquids is very dangerous in concentrated form and if not handled with care and understanding, it can be fatal. Before attempting to make your own e-juice it is highly recommended you familiarize yourself with what you are handling. Xeno from www.vapersforum.com has written the Handling of High Concentration Nicotine Juice for Dummies guide which lays out the precautions that should be taken before and during the making of e-juice and when handling nicotine in any dose. Listed below are some excerpts from that guide. If you have an IQ below 100 ("average" intelligence) don't even think of going near any nicotine liquid above 36mg If you have children or pets keep your liquid somewhere where they cannot get a hold of it. On top of the refrigerator IS NOT a good place... any 2-3 year old with any climbing skills can get up there. LOCK IT UP! DO NOT attempt to vape high concentrations of nicotine liquid. The liquid is meant to be cut down!! When handling it wear protective clothing (rubber gloves, goggles/face shield, apron, even a chemical suit if you got it). If you get this stuff on you it can KILL YOU... at the very least make you blind (if you get it in your eyes) or make you extremely sick. Be mindful of the pipets/syringes and other tools you may use for mixing. The nicotine residue on these tools would probably be enough to at the very least get a small child or pet really sick. Lock them up too. If you happen to get uncut nicotine juice on you. IMMEDIATELY wash the affected area thoroughly. Don't wait until you are done mixing... GET UP AND WASH IT OFF!! If it gets on your clothes.. IMMEDIATELY remove the clothing, and get it washed off of you! Use common sense I would personally also recommend that anyone attempting to make their own e-juice take a look at InChem's Nicotine (PIM) page for a further understanding of nicotine and the dangers associated with it. Happy and Safe Mixing! **** this is from kriticalmass.net****
  3. @shen_long86 Didn't that bend the barrel? they're not that sturdy.
  4. I took it back to the B&M where I purchased it and they replaced it and they dealt with Kanger. There is nothing you can do really ...trust me I tried everything known to man and it was stuck. Good luck, I hope you get the issue resolved I really love my dripbox.
  5. Toasting your success! Congratulations ...
  6. @VapeMama and @FXRich YUM Those sound really good !! I'm going to have to give it a go. I have all the flavors ...Now to find them in my mounds of moving boxes Maybe by the time I'm done unpacking it'll be ready and by then I'll need a pick-me-up!
  7. After reading the "booklet" the tank that comes with the mini c it states that the SSOCC coil is the only compatible coil. I haven't tried switching them out, so I don't know. I do prefer the flavor from the SSOCC maybe you will too. You could also change the tank then it would work like a normal k box. Nano tanks are reasonably priced so there's an option too.
  8. Patricia, Tony from Vapor Trail Channel has a good video that can show you the different things your nano can do. You can see it HERE He describes how to work the settings too. You might want to have a look to help you out.
  9. For PG and VG I use Amazon For flavors I use Wizard Labs, The Flavor Apprentice, and Central Vapor for concentrates of a few of my favorite premixed flavors. For Nicotine (in 100%VG) I use Central Vapor If I was looking at a pre-made mixing kit I'd use Central Vapor, however I had all my beakers, syringes and such from teaching Chemistry so I didn't need to purchase much. When I do need syringes, I go to my local feed store because they're cheapest there and they're the exact same that you'd get anywhere else. For anything science-y I use homesciencetools.com because they have good prices and quick delivery. A good DYI site for recipes/ejuice calculator etc is: http://www.kritikalmass.net/ Just remember what tastes good to one person might not taste great to another...It IS subjective
  10. @Walt You're diligent.... that's for sure! LOL I pretty much stick with power mode vs TC because it's too fiddley. But as far as mods the two that work best in TC for me are my eleaf 60W and my Releaux 2/3. Glad you got it figured out
  11. OOPS I thought was a how to felt dogs...my bad. Those are example of things you can make...Rats I goofed. Try this one instead Westie
  12. We try to help around here...It's funny how people find this forum like you did with a problem of one type or another then they wind up sticking around. (I did it too) This is probably the nicest group on any forum I've ever found. If you have questions just holler and welcome to VaporTalk!
  13. I have a bad case of jealousy going on here for your well equipped shop and tinkering capabilities. I still rebuilding my tool collection ...
  14. You might want to check this link for more troubleshooting and unit information. I'm at a loss to help further, sorry. I think you might have a faulty unit mine is 6 months old and I've never had a problem. That said it's not what I use all the time only now and then Here's a thought....Call the VT store, Evan told me he uses his a lot maybe he has an idea. Edit: I just found my box and It looks like they only have a 90 day warranty so you might need to look for a new mod ....
  15. @Adversarious1 LOL!! I wouldn't blame anyone but myself. If it's not my thing, I have a few friends serving overseas that might like it or you might just get a slightly used but well cleaned back up to your backups in the mail
  16. Have you tried felting? It's a fun and relaxing hobby and inexpensive. Working with your hands is fun like using sculpey or clay. There's making candles or soaps or bathsalts? These are also things you can do with the kiddos which makes it more fun and if the results are good you can sell them to offset some of the costs at craft fairs. I like gardening and canning foods (also a money maker) like sauces, fruits, jellies and jams It's fairly inexpensive to start too and the results are delicious and you know what's in your foods. Here's a felting dog video but you can felt a ton of things: Dog video DYI ejuice is fun and tasty. You can try it by getting a kit with everything you need to try small amounts here
  17. He's a handsome boy! I hope the adoption goes through for you.
  18. Thanks and you're right. I've converted (or at least tried) quite a few people. I know vaping was the ONLY way I could quit analogs and I found that people are more willing to give it a go if they don't have much out of pocket expense (especially my 2 adult sons and one of their wives) Now both sons have just about totally given up the stinkies. My daughter in law's mother passed so she fell off the wagon shortly but I sent her some higher nic juice and she's getting back on track. The best part I think is knowing they're no longer smoking around the grandkids and I'm very grateful for that.
  19. What size bit did you use? that's a cool idea very ingenious
  20. All from the Vapor Talk Store: 2 Kanger Evods with 2 (5) packs of coils to vape it forward. (only $10 each and the coils $3.75 ea.) great way to help family and friends without breaking the bank, One's for a cousin and one will be held in reserve for my next victim 1 Kanger toptank nano to replace the one my neighbor decided he loved too much to give back (yay I FINALLY got him into a mod and tank instead of an ego pen after 6 months of trying) 1 SMOK Baby Beast to find out what all the hoopla is about and I couldn't beat the price in VT's moving sale price...
  21. My AIO only gets rare use but I love it for running to the grocery store or for a night at the movies. The pen styles with built in batteries really don't last that long if they're your main vaping device. I have quite a few different devices and my Kangers and eleaf pico are my favorites. You'll not go wrong with either one. This is a great forum to get advice and it will be as varied as there are users. I have had pretty good luck with the Joyetech AIO and Evic mini V2, but I also don't rely on it as my all day workhorses. The bottom line is getting what will work best for your life style. For my two cents, If you like the built in battery then I'd go with an ipower by eleaf if not, a Kanger subbox is a great workhorse or the pico. Just please educate your self on battery safety and charging as well as the units functions. Oh, also Welcome to Vapor Talk it's a great place with great people
