been a busy guy,, i miss you all here. my vaping adventures are kinda taking me in a full circle, and any way had to grab some VT apple dapple for old times sake- and nabbed some nautilis bvc coils as my nautlis has been sitting for basicly its entire life as i hated the other coils.. cheers ,, glad to be back 

I dont understand all the 510 , Ego adaptor stuff . I have an ego mini battery and the Evod fits perfectly

I got the base for my T3s, but the set of Evod heads that I have won't fit into the base. The metal disk (seperate the thread and the wick) on the evod head is larger than the hole on the T3 base. The disk will stay on top of the base in stead of going inside the rim. So, the base won't screw all the way in and the top of the head don't make contact with the center air tube.

the easy fix..... get a T3-S bottom cap and turn it into an evod t3

congrats uma, thats a very nice looking mod!

so i have a cool lil update .. today someone showed me to take one of the wicks out,, it helps with the flavor issue that was my biggest problem .. so what ya do is ya take the bottom out like ur gonna re-fill the tank.... and on thecenter post theres a rubber seal ... pop that off... then... you wiggle that lil center post till it pops off.,, you take the wick that sets on top of the coil off and put it back togeather... wa-la,, problem fixed.. lots more flavor lots more vapor!!! win win... love this thing!!!

so ive had mine for a few days now.. and heres what i think,, i love the look and the design is great,, no leaks and its durable as my devices keep falling over and it hasent broke or leaked,, it looks sexy as hell on my tessla, and it has the ego threads so it tops my tessla really nice!!
now on to functions..
the kanger at first i got a few dry hits and that was after filling ,shaking and letting it sit,, i actually had to pull really hard a few times with out fireing the device to get the wicks to start up.. but after that first wicking,, i havent had any wick issues..
and have gone thru a few tanks of one flavor,, and then i swiched,, the flavor in the tank swiched right away... i really did not expect it to swich over so fast. so thats def a plus, it vapes really well and i like it,, i am considering buying a few more.. differewnt colors to match the mod and the color of the batt in my tessla as you can see the batt.

overall i like it alot... do i love it ???.... yeah i could see my self loving this after awhile.. i wanna try a few stronger juices in it and see if i can boost flavor output,, but aleal wise i love the look....

one downside is you can not connect another tip to it as its all one peice.. but something i can live with ... i give this a thumbs up ,,, def woth a try.

wow.. ok ... so.... lol...

Ive had this thing for a few days now... 5 to be exact,, and i must say im quite impressed.. I bought this device so my opinion is not biased, infact.. I was gonna write about it a few days ago,, but i was still a lil excited about it so i decided to hold off till i let the nerves chill. so now that ive had time to do a lil reaserch on exactly what it is that i bought , i must say finding alot of specs. on this is not easy. sooo..

. Right off the bat the first thing i noticed is ,, this thing feels solid, its heavy. and not a hollow heavy, I like that alot!

The second thing I really like is, it includes both regular & extended bottom caps to use stacked 18350s or 1 18650, ( Longer batt life with the stacked , plus a power boost to make sure it can handle the dual coils.) , if you want the extended cap with the provari itll cost ya 19.99 on sale. 24.99 not on sale. I know there are a few other mods that sell the extended caps but im not sure right now and so i used the provari for an example.

i dont wanna go on and on here so im gonna jump to something huge with this mod and this is kinda techy so ill try to be slow...

so with a provari,, your paying for a constant output of power to your atty or cart,, no matter what you have on the end of a provari it will put out that power and adjust itself when you switch whats on the connector, the problem with the provari, is the amp limitation; so at high voltage you loose the capibility of using dual coils and other things that will push that amp swich past 3.5 amps.. at this point you get an error code on the provari .

on the zmax you do not run into that problem,as it has a 5amp swich, the problem lies in the zmax with the boosting board or chip when your using the single 18650 set up. Its a battery limitation. on higher voltage with the 18650 set up it struggles to meet the higher voltages on some cartos and attys, not all but some.. so in order to correct that you have to use the stacked 18350s and that will allow for the higher voltages to be reached constantly. I really like that the user has this option to use the right set up for the voltages that they use for their set up.

one of the things i am unsure of : is alot of the protection circuits it may or may not have, there is not alot of info out there on these so heres what i do know...

it does have a short circuit protection
a low battery protection
a low res. protection
and also has reverse battery protection.
also i should mention, you have the option of using voltage or watts( power) and i really really like that option. watts is alot smother warmer in my opinion,, and i like it.

theres alot more to be said about this device but im gonna leave it here at that ,, im extreemly happy at the price point, and im very happy I choose this mod over the provari, as after the fact i saw the numbers and chart on both devices and this device shines OVER the provari, at half the price point.

Your replys are great, I wanted to start this thread because I have seen that some ppl that were here a year ago have just came back after smoking again ,, while I'm glad they have returned to vaping I'm courious as to why we get off vaping.. I don't have this issue,, I wil have a cig knowing I'm not chained to them anymore, tho I don't enjoy it, I think mentally that addiction will allways be there. And I will allwYs wonder is snoking gonna be good again? I don't see myself returning to smoking but wondered if you did and what will will come of vaping for you if you did.

I wanted a place for vapors to share their storys about falling off the vape train and getting hit by the cig truck.

I feel its important for us to learn from each other, with our wins and fails!
Please take a min to share your fall off of vaping and your feelings about it, like did you feel guilty, or wanna just smack your self or were you ok with it? Aparently you got back on the train or you probably wouldent be seeing this.

Also provide any tips for others to not make the mistakes you may have made. And cause and effect of smoking after vaping.

To me I think it is important that we fail in order to learn, I smoke a cig here and there and every time it reminds Me of why I started vaping and how much I love it vs smoking.

riva is a knock off, not the same device,same concept, but made of different materials and products and both put out a lil over 4 vs fully charged both hit at 3.7 under load, and riva is not much cheeper.
rivas have had alot of connection issues with certian attys unlike the ego and not many ppl have had the button sticking, btw 2 totally different buttons. joye will stand behind all their products and is the quality choice. new users need to have options and correct information. some one needs to do a longevity test between the two and see what one craps out over time first, with the same usage. id put my money on an ego.. joye = quality riva = knock off

riva may be cheeper and im not saying something is wrong with riva, plenty of users use rivas, but for me id pick sony over ericison, because quality. so i pick joye over riva.

in eather case do the reaserch and make the best decision for you, not based on what others say.

and btw the megaladon is a modded device, so that is not compare-able here stick to comparing apples to apples

Riva > Ego... same basic device, button doesn't get stuck, half the price, standard battery has an extra 100mah and puts out a little over 4 volts instead of the Ego's 3.7.

And the Megalodon blows both of them out of the water...

@ little pea... The 2.4 ohm is good because on a ce2 the coil is at the top so yeah in general the lr is for 3.7 only if you put a lr on a 5 volt it will pop the atty/carto so you gonna want 3.0 ohm minimum for 5v Devices also lr is not necessarly for higher mah but I wouldent use lr on a 510 stick batt, your gonna want at least a standard ego batt.

Also please don't judge the map tank based on a clearomizer as the normal ce2s have a leaking/ wicking issue because the wicks cat extend at the right angle for them to wick well, this is how the map tank came into play,,, it allows the wick to come straight out of the edges and allows the wick to send proper amount of juice to the coil, and the tank fixes the leaking issues with the way its built.

sweet!!!! maybe instead of throwing out the last smoke get a marker and put the date on it!! be proud!! doctors say quitting smoking is the hardest drug to quit...i dunno about you but i found it to be quite easy!!! not spending money on cigs is great.

Ok, so what I do is, if I have say 3 flavors from 3 different vendors I absolutly have to have. To get started, pick a vendor, order the 1 juice you want from them and have them include a sample of one of the other 2 flavors you would buy from a different vendor. Sometimes you'll like that same flavor from that vedor and you just wiped one vendor off the list.

Also you can add hardware to your order to make that order worth it. And too if you find a vendor you really like contact them and let them know you plan to order from them a lot or all the time, usually they will give ya a discount code to use and if ya cont. To order from them and its worth their while they may even give ya your own personal discount code, not all vendors will do this but if ya do order a lot from them say at least every few weeks they might conside it to kinda lock ya into buying from them, its smart biz on their end and you get a nice lil discount from um. Win win

Also I forgot to mention, you can also off set your orders, so like for me one pay week ill order from VT and the next pay week ill order from awesomevapor. Then that way it dosent hurt as bad. Just a few ideas to get ya thinking outside the box, hope this helps.
