Hi guys. I've been absent from the forum for a while. I fell off the wagon and for a few months, and it sucked. But I dusted off my mod and am giving it another try! So far I'm about 3 weeks cig free, and glad to be back reading about all the fun vaping stuff that I've been missing out on.

Today I learned that as soon as I buy something, I will most likely immediately begin researching other cool vaping stuff. It's like a never ending cycle.

Hmm, I've got a walgreens about a mile away from me. May have to stop in And see if they have any.

Something about a 0.99 makes me nervous. They're closed today, but I'll give em a call in the morning. They seemed to carry mostly only higher end mods and such, so I hope they wouldn't skimp on the batts.

I like the auto-detect feature on that charger. Probably because I have no idea what kind of battery is in there now, aside from the size, which is kind of scary, come to think of it. The shop I bought it from rewrapped it to match my mod, and never mentioned the brand. I'll have to stop over there and ask them what the heck they gave me.

I got some more newbie questions for you guys, this time in regards to batteries and chargers. At the moment, I've got 1 18650 battery that is getting daily use in my kanger subox mini. I'm also charging through the subox directly, mainly because I haven't gotten around to buying a proper charger. 
So, first question. Should I have more than one battery, and switch off between them? Will this be important for battery life and or safety? 
Am I ok charging directly through the unit, or should a charger be high on my "to buy" list? 
I read somewhere that the subox has overcharge/ discharge protection, but the manual only mentions the discharge safety. 

If you are using the 0.5 ohm coil, I would suggest trying to do a direct to lung draw instead of a mouth to lung draw. If it is still a bit too much, switch it out to the included 1.5 ohm coil and turn the wattage way down. You can start around 10 or so watts with that coil.

Tam, have you tried to lube up the area with a little bit of juice? When I got my subtank, the airflow control was really tight/gritty and the tank fit on the bottom threads was also like that. It wasn't till I over-primed a coil and had juice ooze out of the air holes that the problem cleared up lol. I ended up firing my mod and blowing into in instead of inhaling. That got all of the excess juice out of the airway. Wiped it off, and now it's smooth as butter.

Today I learned that it is good practice to revisit flavors before totally counting them out. 
I had bought a bottle of caramel apple from the local vape shop about 3 weeks ago. Thought it was ok when I sampled it. Vaped it for about two hours on my setup and hated every minute of it. Let it sit in the shelf for a while, and I tried it again today. It tastes great and I've been vaping it non stop!

Tough time usually come with tough temptations. No need to beat yourself up over it. I haven't tried muffin man, but will be looking forward to reading what you think about it.

Thanks for all of the advice guys! The run went great. I finished pretty quickly, and with plenty of gas in the tank.

Today I'm running my first ever obstacle course run. It's the wipe out run at US Cellular Field, and I am really stoked! This is going to be a warm up/prep race to get ready for the Jack axe race that I'm competing in next month. Any last minute advice would be much appreciated!

Some of that definitely sounds like being over nic'ed and a bit dehydrated. I had similar results a couple of weeks ago when I decided it was a good idea to chain vape 8-10 hits in a row and then immediately try to go to sleep. If I didn't know any better, I would've thought that someone slipped something in my drink lol.
The constipation and allergy development is probably related to quitting the cigs though. Especially if your morning routine included a smoke and coffee to "clear out the pipes."
