I ordered a extra subtank base for that reason, but while I was waiting to get it I discovered the subtank mini RBA fits in a T3 base, or a EVOD base, that's how I check mine. I know the resistance don't affect the power but the lower the resistance the more watts is needed, at least that's been my experience.

3ml in a 30ml bottle is 10% 3.5ml is about 11.6% in a 30ml mix I would use a max of 1ml of mint. But I don't know if the flavor was a premix of mint and banana, or if you used two separate flavors. I don't usually use flavors that are premixed, I like to mix my own, that way I can get the flavor I want, sometimes it turns out good sometimes not. Out of the 30+ flavors that I have only 2 are premixed, they are Kahlua, and Absinthe. The rest I mix a little of this and a little of that until I get the flavor I want.

I also have a subtank mini, actually 3, but what I do to sample a flavor is I use the RBA section. I put a new wick in it, soak it with the juice I want to sample, put on the tank and sample it. I don't even bother to put the top piece on the RBA, since the tank has no juice in it there is no leaks.

In my opinion mint is a very strong flavor and hard to cover up, its like trying to cover up menthol.

Okay, first, we call it "vaping" and not "smoking". You get smoke from an e-cigarette? That means you're doing something wrong and there's something on fire.    Before going any further, if you're not a cigarette smoker, why do you want anything to do with vaping? Vaping is still not proven to be safe, we former smokers do have cause to believe it's less hazardous to our health than cigarettes, which is why we made the switch.

That's the way I have been doing it. The first time I wicked my RBA I put the cotton through the coil, put the top on and then tried to get the cotton through the holes, what a PITA that was. With my nano I got some of the factory horizontal coils, the coil lines up with the holes so its easy to rewick it, I don't like the long leads but not a problem so far.

Get yourself a couple of extra subtank RBAs so when you don't have time to rebuild it you can just put a new one in. They are only about $7 each.

DIY juice is a learning process that never stops.

where ever you order from pay attention to the ingredients in the flavorings, try to stay away from Triacetin, it does not mix well and will separate (I speak from experience). Comp probably knows what else to look for. Triacetin will also destroy plastic tanks, so probably not good for the lungs. Just my opinion.

Assuming you use 20% flavor the highest VG mix you could do would be about 42PG/58VG. I agree with Comp on the nic base being 100% VG. I have a little over 1 1/2 liter of 100mg VG base in the freezer, Some of it is over a year old and it is only got a slight color to it, about the same as when I got it.

Kanger makes very reliable stuff everything from the T3 to the Subtanks, probably your best bet would be a Subox mini kit, that way your girlfriend won't want it (box mod).

I run 12watts using my Nano with the .5 coil, any higher and it gets a harsh taste to it. The life of the coil depends on the juice and how many watts you use. A lot of people think the more watts the bigger the clouds, that isn't true unless you consider the cloud caused by the burnt cotton.

I do sometimes get a batch that tastes bad and is unfixable so I dump it in a bottle labeled not so good. Awhile back I tried it and it tasted pretty good, so I dumped it in another bottle and vaped it. Started another not so good batch, every once in awhile I try it. I know I can't duplicate any of it but that's OK.

I have been doing DIY for about 1 1/2 years now, maybe longer, I know what's in it and if it don't come out the way I planned I got nobody to blame but myself. (you can blame the muffin man) When I do get a batch that doesn't taste right I try to fix it or vape it anyway. You will probably experiment with flavors like I did, and still am, some good some not so good, but that's what makes it interesting.

I was thinking about getting a UM10 for the car, got 2 power ports in front seat 2 more in the back seat and 1 in the very back, figured I could use one during trips.

Haven't seen anything on the nitecore UM series chargers, they any good?
