Picked up a Kanger SubMini and a 30 Watt IPV3 Mini. I was on the fence and leaning toward the 70 Watt version but then I remember why I was buying it, for going out so I don't have to lug around by 2X18650 box. Meaning that I'll be using tanks that I don't run over 30 Watts.

I'm taking it to my local gunsmith and having him cerakote it in some gnarley color and design. I had him do my Smith and Wesson Shield .40 in Military green and the finish in pretty tough.

I've been looking at those but want something slim. I wound up going with the IPV3 Mini. I like it so far. This is mainly for when I go out with friends and weekends so I'm not lugging around a clunky box.

I am very impressed with the machining on this clone.Very well made,there are a few small burs on the coil deck but that isn't something a little file won't take care of.Excited to build this beauty!

I went to a seminar where the expert was explaining to us how easily the general public,and public officials could be manipulated. They used the example that Earthling is using and could not get Dihydrogen-Monoxide through the EPA as a fire fighting agent. There was also the fluoride scare in Albuquerque (I will not debate if fluoride is good or bad...I don't know) The city was supposed to start putting fluoride in the water on a certain date, on that day there was many instances of people admitted to the hospital with fluoride caused ailments. The only problem is their shipment of fluoride was delayed and did not arrive for over a week.

This being said, I am glad we have people out there making sure we don't get poisoned, and have clean water, air, etc, but there has to be some common sense.

Yeah, I know the feeling I haven't taken any of my builds above 40W (even with a mech-mod)... usually I'm in the 25-30W range with my RDAs, and my RTA's are rarely pushed over 18W (14 being the norm), but it would be nice to have the extra power if I ever wanted/needed it...

The nice thing is the 70W models are the same size as the original 30W IPV-mini, so that means they will feel good in your hand, and not so bulky like the 100W + models...

I'll be ordering one in the next few weeks

Thanks guys, I like the review on the YiHi SX Mini but I am only taking my Subtank with a 0.4Ohm build up to 38 watts so anything over 50 watts is wasted on my needs.

With that said the IPV 30 won't be enough so I'm leaning toward the 70 watt model.
