That twisted flat looks good. I have a spool of 28ga I really don't do anything with. I guess I need to order some flat. I have just about accepted the fact I can't build an untwisted (parallel) coil. It looks like it was built by a very unskilled 3rd grader. (No offense to third graders!) It seems like the Tiger would have much more surface area, but I don't know how it compares in ohms. How does it compare to my dual coil 7 wrap of 26 gauge on a 3.4 mm pin compare. In other words is is more or less ohms/ft than a 26 gauge. I would assume less ohms/per foot because it seems like there is much more conductor there. Am I looking at it right?

I was in a motel and went out to the car due to the fire alarms going off (false alarm) I really didn't want it, but it was the last one I had. It tasted awful, nearly sickening! I wrote the date/time on the pack and wrapped it up and gave it to my wife for her birthday. It has been a strong motivator!

Yes. It is all the same. The only things I find a little different is the things are not as linear. The electrical laws don't ever change, but more watts doesn't mean better necessarily. There is so many other variables that you can't plug into calculators, such as, atomizer type, airflow, wicking material, coil size and placement, juice PG/VG/Nicotine ratios and your individual taste!

I hate to say I have been a little lazy. I am still running the dual vertical on my TOBH I put the coil closer to the negative post which puts the coil right above the 3 air holes (on each side). I am running .4(something) ohms. I am using 5 wraps of 26 gauge around a 3.4mm pin. It has been great! I have not had much reason to experiment. I am sure I will when time allows. I really like the vertical arrangement. It seems to be a better vape than the horizontal coils of the same size/wrap. I really don't know why that is. Is it airflow? I have 2 of these atty's so I can experiment, I just am enjoying it so much, I may get some 0 nicotine, so I can vape it more. I may have to start buying this juice by the gallon!

The reason it turns darker is the steeping process, when I DIY my own liquid it's clear. I follow a steeping process that takes 2 weeks and after 2 weeks it's got a nice golden or sometimes redish hue to it depending the flavor. My honeydew turns redish but strawberry and cream turns a golden/amber color.as a flavor steeps it will begin to taste different too, more of the flavor is coming out and blending with the VG/PG better

note: this i think can only be made in a mephisto as big wire is used

ok so im setting here looking at my box of wire and went im gunna go crazy and build somthing i have never seen before and see how it goes and damnnnnn it hits hard most of you may see this and go wtf hell i did but try it if you wish it gives mass flavor and a huge cloud i meen huge so here it is heres what i cam up with

i wrapped 2 micro coild one in 20 gauge and the other in 22 gague and a 3rd coil in 28 gague but its a super super small wrap dunno what that would be called.... so i put the 20 gague coil in one side facing one open end to the air hole and on the other side i put the 22 gague coil facing vert as close to the air hole as possable now the 28 gague super small wrap get twisted inside the org cotton wick and fed thru the vert 22 gague wire the cotton is so you dont short out and for wicking

sounds like a crazy build maybe stupid but thats why im calling it the Heretic Coil

wicking wrap org cotton around the 20 gague coil none going thru the center and wrap a small amount around the 22 gague as well if you want wont be needed sence you got the one running thru the center but i did it for added juice sence its a lower ohm build

I have already rewicked it. I didn't take a picture. It was similar to the way that Rip Trippers did it in the video above. I just pushed the rayon through the coil until it touched the bottom below the coil, then looped it over the screw on top and into the other coil. It really didn't work as good as I have it now which is about a 16th of an inch sticking up through the coil and the tail in the drip well. I think the airflow is better with the vertical coil. I was going to try to do the quad coil, but I don't have the time tonight.

The pictures are deceptive. The front of the coil looks pretty good. There are gaps in the back. I can't get my larger tweezers in to compress them. The coil away from the camera doesn't look quite as good. I tend to run out of patience and want to try it.

Yes, but I think I am not patient, or steady enough. It has also turned out to be a kinda cheap camera. I loaned my good one to my daughter for their family vacation last year, and never got it back. I have learned with the kids, if they have something of yours over 24 hours, it is now theirs!

I said I would wait until I got a mod, but couldn't wait. I got my Kanthal in today. 26, 28, 30, and 32 ga. I don't have a mechanical yet so I wrapped a .9 ohm single coil on my TOBH and wicked it with organic cotton. 7 wraps of 26ga on 2.8mm.

At 11 watts on my MVP it is amazing. It doesn't put out clouds, but flavor is too good. I never dreamed that my juice would taste so powerful that it is nearly off putting. I know that is a stupid complaint...too much flavor, but that is the truth.

I don't have any low nicotine juice, so I am using my 24mg stuff. It is a little strong but it works.

I now see what all the fuss is about!

The chantix can be a good tool. It was responsible for my longest time span i have gone without an analog. It just didn't stick for me.

I am only a little over 2 months in this time, and only vaping. So far so good.

I am like you. I really don't vape in public much. I tend to keep it in the car, at home, and in the office. I really did about the same when I smoked.

It is gaining acceptance in a lot of areas, but there is so many misconceptions and I normally don't want to deal with them in public. (I am shy and non-confrontational, a weird combination for a salesman!)

I sat next to a woman today in a nonsmoking Denny's in Abilene, TX and she was vaping away. What really caught my eye is that she was an older lady and no one even gave her a second look. (I mean no offense by calling her older, she was older than me, and I know better than to try to guess the age of a woman)

I'm with you Chris! I am definitely not gonna fault a guy for that. It seems like every time I get a major urge, I am alone. I would have to go buy a pack, and a lighter. I think that added bit of work really helps keep me from doing it. I luckily have never had the urge when I am around friends who smoke. I think when I am around them, I don't want to smoke in front of them because they all know of my commitment!

I didn't bring an RBA with me on this trip. I need to build a small toolbox for the hotel rooms. I spend 3-4 nights a week on the road. I bring tanks, extra coils and my back ups. I also have found most of the vape shops along my sales route. I think this weekend that will be my project. Building coils will help pass the time and give me practice!

I've been DIYing my own juice for close to 2 weeks. I really like honeydew so I made some of it up at 90/10 VG/pg and 20% flavor. Let it steep for over a week. Dripped some of it and it was just so so, then I added 1ml of sweetener to it and shazzam, perfect drip flavor for sub ohm. I made a 15ml bottle and I'm about to make a 30ml bottle tonight. I've got some strawberry and cream flavor coming tomorrow so I hope I can get it to turn out just as good.

When I started smoking analogs at 16, I had bought my first real muscle car, discovered I liked chasing the girls, and alcohol and the occasional illegal drug made it much more fun. On second though, i definitely would have done it!

Now, I can't afford a muscle car. I am too tired to chase the girls...what would I do if I caught one? If I drink more that 4 drinks or stay up past midnight the next day is terrible. Illegal drugs?...not a chance, too much to loose. I really doubt I would do it.

While my son's soccer team ate dinner, after their loss on the road today, I stopped by a little vape-shop near the restaurant to kill some time... and walked out with this, for $35! They even threw in an arm's length of 28-ga Kanthal and about a foot of Silica wick. I came home, cleaned it thoroughly, and made a pretty decent (for my first try) 1.4 Ohm coil So far, this thing is working beautifully!!

Now, I already ordered one of these earlier in the week, but I just couldn't pass on this one for the price... well, I could have... but really, I didn't want to I can't wait until my other one arrives!

Tameiki, I do. I need to do that. I have never been able to make Kanger products work for me, so they just sit in the bottom of a box. I guess I need to buy a spool of Kanthal and see what I can do! That's a good idea.
