Crazyavonlady got a reaction from Tam in Pass through Question
We have 2 batteries now to change out regularly, expecting more this week.
On top of that, we each have a regular egos and a vv model as well.
My husband takes my ego, his ego, and his vv to work with his tanks full so he doesn't have to worry about battery life or spilling juice. I have my magneto and ego CTwist at home and for me on the go since I have both of our VCT4 batteries at home.
Having backups, backups for your backups, AND extra batteries is something that I think should be a REQUIREMENT! Haha. Seriously, though, it's a good idea to have backups, extra batteries, and backups for your backups and backups for you batteries.

Hubby and I took our blood pressure at home a week ago.... While my BP has ALWAYS been good, it was my resting heart rate that I've been worried about. Last time I took it on our machine, it was over 100. I was still a smoker. Last week, when we did it, my resting heart rate was.... (Drum roll please) 61! MAJOR freaking difference.
Hubby's blood pressure (even on meds) has always been on the high side, and the time before he stopped smoking it was like in the 140s/90s, heart rate high like mine in the low 100s.
Stop smoking, a month after he started vaping.... BP 119/79 heart rate 65.
Absolutely NOTHING else changed. Our diet has remained consistent. Our lifestyles have remained the same EXCEPT the fact that we stopped smoking and started vaping.

Take that, big tobacco and big pharm!

So me? I'm kind of a juice SNOB. Okay, not kind of. I AM. After about a week of vaping Bettie White, it just stopped doing ANYTHING for me. I tried EVERY SINGLE juice at my B&M (one of many, but it's my main one) and only found ONE other than G2 Mr Cookie that I like. Five Pawns, Bowdens Mate.
Delicious in a tank, delicious mixed with Mr Cookie, and sooooo good dripped at .6 ohms. The sub-ohms really brings out the crisp mint flavor, while when mixed with cookie I get more of a smooth chocolate mint flavor, and straight up in a tank it's not as smooth but still delicious. Now.... I gotta go try more juices. I see a vape lounge hopping day coming up

We are part of a local group of vapers, and since I do NOT want to rebuild anything without someone experienced beside me, one of them came over yesterday and rebuilt my aerotank coil and built a dual coil for my husband's dripper. I also have a dual coil in my dripper (built by someone else in our group). My aerotank has the holes drilled out (courtesy of my hubby) and has a 1.2 ohm single nano coil in it. The cloud is comparable to my .62 ohm dripper! I absolutely LOVE how the vaping community is-- everyone is so willing to help out noobs and they take time to help out, and the guys who are showing us how to build coils are taking us step by step, until they (and we) feel safe for us to go at it alone, which shows that this community really CARES about the safety of noobs. (Hello cloud!)

    I should mention....
I didn't build either coil. I do not feel comfortable enough with my own building skills at this point in time and safety is a priority for me. Both were built by separate experienced vapers who rebuild all the time. The next coils I will build under the supervision of someone experienced, and it will be that way until I feel comfortable enough with my mods and experience.

Left is .62 ohm dual coil on a basic RDA. Right is 1.2 ohm single coil in an aerotank with drilled air holes.

As a parent, nothing pisses me off more than when my kids lie to me, except when they lie and know that I already know the truth.

As an adult child, nothing upsets my parents more than being lied to. I moved out when I was 17, and I still had to go to my mother for many things for school, so lying about my activities was never an option. When I turned 18, though, it never crossed my mind to lie to my parents. They both know everything about me, and the relationship I have with each of them is very close and I can tell them ANYTHING.

As a wife, it pisses me off when my husband tells even little white lies to his parents. It makes me think that it would be easy for him to lie to me if it's so easy for him to lie to his parents.

Lying to your parents, essentially, WILL affect future relationships. Not necessarily about this, but in general. I know it may be hard, but put yourself in their shoes. And keep open the conversation with them, trust me it will help you long term. When you're in your mid-20s and need someone to talk to, your parents won't be wondering if you're lying to them. Honesty is ALWAYS best, even when it may hurt someone's feelings, because then you become the person everyone can count on to ALWAYS tell the truth. Please don't try to fool the nic test, or lie to your parents. You will regret it. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in a month or year, but one day you WILL.

I started vaping to quit smoking but have found that my cravings for sweets has also declined greatly. My thirst for water has increased greatly, therefore cutting my soda drinking down. I have started drinking a tad bit more coffee though, less sugar and cream because my vape is sweet, for the caffeine. I am coming off of nicotine slowly, don't want to cut out caffeine totally and give myself major migraines!

So, we got burnt out on Mr. Cookie.... So our guy at the local B&M hooked us up with some Bettie White (uncle Junk's) and some swamp thang (ruthless).
Hubby isn't too fond of Bettie White but I LOVE IT. Doesn't come as a surprise, I love pomegranate and apples equally.
I'm not too fond of swamp thang, but he loves it. It's okay for me, but Bettie White has made it's way into my lineup of Vaznilla, Mr. Cookie, and Dragon's Tears.

    So figuring some things out.....
Here in MD our brands of cigarettes run about $7.01 per pack. We each smoked 2 packs a day, so $14.02 each per day. Multiply that by 2, you get $28.04 spent per day in cigarettes. Counting 30 days per month, that's $841.20.

Subtract $100 per month for vape supplies (because we are cheap and stick with the same stuff), that brings it to $741.20.

Add what we currently pay in rent ($545), and you get $1286.20.

My sister in law pays $1300 a month for her house. So instead of renting, we could theoretically be buying a house right now! Granted, we own our mobile home and pay lot rent, but it would be nice to not live where we are living.

When we realized this, it made us sick to our stomachs. Smoking not only lowers your quality of health, it also lowers your quality of LIFE! When my husband told his mom, she was sick. But honestly, when you're addicted to something, you don't think about the cost. You only think about the cost once you quit doing what you were doing. And now that we know, I doubt we will EVER go back to analogs.

What makes us even more determined---
The savings from both of us not smoking analogs (with deductions made for vaping) in addition to the amount of lot rent we currently pay, we could be making a house payment, and a decent one at that!
