Got in five 6 ml samplers of Flux juice from Gotvapes.com today. Blueberry Swirl, The Magnificent Pop, Double Shot Irish Cream, Blueberries 'n Cream, and Strawberry milkshake. I'm not happy that they handwrote the names on the bottle labels, it wouldn't be so bad if the penmanship were legible but... time to break out my label maker. They all smell great, however.

At first I thought I'd have a problem with the weight of the VTR but it doesn't feel so heavy because of the shape, I think. Anyway, it's good to know I have a weapon handy should I need it. The only downside is having to hold back from braining someone who is begging for it...

Most my gear is out of sight, all my mods are stainless, so I think to the ol' lady it probably looks like the same one. As long as she doesn't look in my 2 bottom dresser drawers I may live.

The VTR seems to be a favorite among VV/VW users, besides the pricey DNA mods. The ability to sub-ohm is what makes it stand out from the crowd.

Took the cap off of my 510 tank, filled it up, put it back on the e-cig. You may notice that I forgot an important step there. Ungodly amount of flooding :S

That is surprising..ECBLENDS is my go to supplier and many of us at VT order from them. I have had over a dozen orders and never had a problem..next time be more careful when you select your options, as ECB has a great website whatever you order goes directly into the system, no chance for them to make a mistake like that, or so I have been told by a couple of folks there in the past...

I keep 6 3ml bottles of misc flavors for using throughout the day....those are my dripping flavors. I also have 3 tank setups for when I'm out. I can't stand using the same flavor all day

I gave up on fancy storage....tackle box (left over from my early vaping days) is stuffed with misc vaping supplies, coils, extra tanks and what nots....
1 shoe box for DIY and 1 shoe box for all my liquids

Your a lucky man...if I tried that, I'd be a dead man!! Now that I'm semi-retired (as in only 2 jobs instead of 3) I can only buy a new mod/apv every three months or so..but since I love my latest...no worries !!

Ah. Well, in all fairness, I have my tacklebox which the slots are ALMOST exclusively held by juice bottles, and then I still have some sample bottles in my cabinet here. The majority of my tanks are now stored in this Case Logic case thing that I stole from my SO (with his permission), although the ones that go in the car with me are stored in my eGo carrying case rather than my actual eGos. But like I said, with some of these, once I empty them, I won't be re-ordering, unless at some point in time between now and emptying them I get the urge to start vaping the flavor like mad again.

Which Island are you going to? not sure if all the islands have shops. Oahu has several Volcano shops...Volcano is a great product. The only disadvantage is that the batteries are not compatible with many of the tanks available. the batteries are 510 threaded and do work with 510 or 306 atomizers for dripping, they do sell a dual coil tank for the volcano batt. the vivi nova tanks also work.

silica wicks are already more dense and more uniform in size. They tend to expand when wet. But they are subject to the caramelization that takes place at the coil. Over time they become stiff and bond with the coil. They lose the ability to hold moisture, hence the gradual "dry" hit that comes about after a few tanks. Silica also doesn't burn. This had me fooled for a while because I always thought the "burning" taste in an old coil was the silica but it's not. The burning comes from the caramelization of the juice compounds and the gradual takeover of the coil by the caramelization. Dry burning of silica wicks gets rid of this caramelization for the most part but it's not 100%, so eventually the coil will not recover after a few dry burns. Eventually the silica does weaken and deteriorate from the heat. I can lengthen the life of a factory coil by cleaning and dry burning, maybe 2 or 3X but I think it is wise to just toss them or rebuild them after that because it probably isn't healthy to be inhaling "burnt" juice.

This is my final guess, since I can't see your rebuild) - you say you use cotton. I would bet your cotton wick does not have enough material. The juice is flowing too heavily to the coil and is not restricted enough. Remember, as the juice wicks and is constantly being fired by the coil, the wick contracts and gets gooey with deposits from sugars and whatnot in flavoring. This does two things, the wick loses its elasticity(stays compressed) and loses its ability to hold the juice. Once that happens the juice gets by the coil and into the airway and battery.

Try beefing up your wick (more cotton) and not necessarily more flavor wick.

ya im kinda glad i got a extra evod vv for when my ego dies. its nice to always have a charged one since neither are pass threw. i think ill probably grab a genuine pro tank. or a i clear. then get a handful of cheap tanks as well. i have only had a few leak issues with the knock off but after just cleaning it with a paper towel it works just fine again. thanks for the info guys! hoping to get my first mod with a 18650 here soon to check out that scene. thanks again! one of the more polite and professional forums I've dealt with so far.

I have to agree with you Spydre. Genuine coils all the way! Even if you are ever going to rebuild your Kanger coils. I have noticed some of the knock-off coils have slightly longer contact pins on the bottom that stick out of the coil bases. This leads to not being able to fully seat the tank onto whatever battery or apv and results in a "non" or 0.0 code on my mvp and gives me error flashes on my spinner batt and won't fire. So, in short, whatever you use, use coresponding parts/coils for it. If you're using knock-off kpt2's, use the knock-off coils with it. Genuine kpt's, use genuine coils.
Just be sure to keep them separated from each other to avoid hassles and confusion.
