The shelf life of PG or VG is not much more than a year when kept in a dark closet. Your better off getting your base in a size that you will be able to use up in 6 months or less. To give you an idea, I order a 120ml of PG with nic and that lasts me 3 months. I have a 20 fl. oz. bottle of VG that is will last me several months also. A gallon of anything is way to much unless you are a supplier and plan on making a whole lot of e-liquid. Even a liter of base should last you over a year but I would recommend that you get a smaller amount. I don't believe that nicotine base will ever be unattainable.

I have many from high desert vapes, onestopdiyshop, ecig express, vaping zone, and diyflavorshack.. One you start, its hard to stop. all i know is that I heard the phillip morris owner altria is starting e liquid production and they are probably going to try to make where only the few and rich can produce it...when this happens i'll be done when i run out of my own supplies...I couldnt even begin to imagine all the chemicals and addictive elements they'll start throwing into those juices like cigs..it would all be just to try and get you to spend as much money on e liquid as currently on cigs. This greedy country is getting worse and worse...as of right now I feel no addiction to e cigs...ya i jones for nicotine but once i take a few puffs off vapors im fine...think of cigarettes, I'd light one up every 30 mins just because my brain thought i needed to...why you think that was? nicotine? no...reinforcement chemicals...**** big tobacco companies and **** the government officials trying to regulate it back to that.

If the Evod is like the other BCCs I have tried or like the T3S I use now, they start gurgling when the coil is degraded enough to let the liquid into the shaft. When mine start to gurgle I take off the bottom, swab out the airhole, put it back together. If it still gurgles I replace the coil and voila, problem solved. The taste and performance are as such that it is worth a little hassle of changing the coils more often than the top coil models.

If you are looking for steady hassle free with very little maintenance and never any gurgling or leakage check out the T2 (Ego CC Longwick Clearomizer). Very similar in design and very easy to fill, almost impossible to get liquid into the shaft, and overall the most user friendly clearo out there imo. I would rate the T2 as good for beginners where the T3s and MT3s are more for intermediate vapers.

Have you read my review comparing the T3s to the T2? It is stickied in "Member Tutorials" where I talk a lot about the differences and why I prefer one over the other. My wife still prefers the T2 where I prefer the T3S. They are so close together it is almost like splitting hairs.

Even if you don't get the juice down the center posts sometimes you'll get gurgling. Take the clearomizer off your battery, put a tissue loosely over the bottom of the clearo, blow gently into the mouth piece. Swab the inside of the bottom of the clearo and the top of your battery. Replace the clearo onto your battery and vape. That should take care of it...until the next time it gurgles.

Looks like your off to a great start.
For me personally, I don't use any of the lab containers/beakers etc., no pipettes either. A needle 3ml and 10mg with needle are all I use for measuring. plenty of 3, 10 and 30ml bottles. The 3ml bottles are great for new mixes, testing.

Just checking....if you are buying 12mg nicotine, it will be diluted to 8-10mg or so after mixing?

Just make sure to keep track of your recipes....its easy to forget exactly what you ended putting into your new favorite mixture !!

Never tried the Evod or the MT3 even though they are very similar to the T3S I use daily now. The KPT would be last on my list of those four. The MT3 and MT3S are the same as T3 and T3S with a metal cover. The S versions are the newest ones and solve a lot of the leaking issues inherent to BCCs. I cannot stand the taste of the KPT and am very glad I never ordered the 4-5 I almost have on several occasions.

I will use the T2 and T3S and am not really looking to try anything else. Both of these are great appliances and will be what my collection is comprised of for the near future.

Also could you imagine if the gov. only let a few corps produce nic liquid like phillip morris or current big tobacco companies? lol in just a few years time you'd start seeing more and more addictive "reinforcement" chemicals being dumped into the now light chemically based nic content. I'd hate to see big tobacco companies and gov. regulated e juice..they'd addict you just the same as cigarettes today just to keep their steady flow of income for years to come. NO MATTER IF it was unhealthy...FDA approved today just means FDA paid off.

Hey Coeli...glad you are thinking about switching over...im no vet but i havent had a cigarette in over 9 days! I started out with this kit (http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-1300mah-variable-voltage-evod-and-ce4-kit/) from veteran vapor and it hasn't let me down yet. The batteries are so good because I can adjust for better flavor through the Variable Voltage ability. I think alot of people get cheap stuff to start and then are let down because of the taste/vapors. Anyways...any starter kit will be better then analogs imo, just a kit like this is a GREAT starter kit. The evod bcc cartos are only 6 bucks and they are rebuildable...i'll have 2 more coming this next week. The replacable coils are only 2 bucks and 1 has lasted me well...as long as my signature states below. I'd recommend this kit...but im a newb too kind of (minus the fact that i researched ALOT before I bought anything). Anyways, good luck..and all I can say is I ust to wake up and have 2-3 analogs right off the bat...now a 5 min vapor session with a 12mg nic juice does the trick...still not a SINGLE cig!

The biggest thing is giving your palate a few weeks without analogs.

I drink a ton of sodas, and for that matter a ton of Makers Mark on the weekends and I get dehydrated as hell now and never have before. That is the only side effect I have had. I have to force myself to drink a bottle of water for every two drinks I have and cut back my soda intake by only having one a day at work with lunch and drinking water the rest of the day. It has helped me immensely. I got so dehydrated over Memorial Day weekend I ended up in the hospital with congestive heart issues because I rehydrated faster than my body could process the fluid and ended up with about 12lbs of unwanted fluid that wouldn't go out. Needless to say, constant hydration is key with vaping.

You are going through nicotine detox. We all did. Its nothing more than that. If the liquid tasted good and all of a sudden doesnt its because as your tastebuds heal things taste differently. Your taste for liquids will change as well. Example when I first started all I wanted was a tobacco flavor. Now I only vape it because it goes good with whiskey lol. I never smoked a menthol cig in my life, and when I first tried Spearmint I thought it was vile. Now is is one of the three flavors I switch throughout the day. The whole "PG Allergy" thing gets overplayed as much as ADHD does in children. It is in things you encounter every day, if you were allergic you would most likely know before you started vaping. My taste for food has even changed. I never liked Hummus, now I can eat a tub of the stuff. Same for celery. Bot now that I can actually taste fast food, I tend to stay away from it lol. Its kind of amazing how badly smoking rapes your tastebuds and sense of smell.

Another thing is you need to have a few flavors to switch between because you will get so used to the taste of one you wont taste it as well. I have also found only the 100% USA made liquids are never perfumey. I suggest Sweet-Vapes.com or Vape-Dudes.com and strongly advise you to stay away from Dekang isf you don't like the perfumey chemically taste.

"True Tobacco" from NW Vapors is pretty good. But yes, it's very hard to mimic an analog cigarette that isn't menthol.

just for the record i vape 100% VG in my protank and I have two. I have not had any issues besides when i first got mine and tried to use a cotton wick which i found to be too aggressive as if like to flood the coil. BUT!!!! that was more user error then it was a product malfunction.

Everyone thinks they have to have a 'cigarette" flavored vape juice when they first start ,Me included but honestly for me once I tried really good flavors I realized I hate the taste of cigarettes and I only smoked them for one thing-NICOTINE
once I started getting that from another source-that was it ! yummy apple and vanilla from now on lol .I know a few folks on here like tobacco - but all my friends hate any juice they have gotten .(tobacco)

I vape a ton, but the dct delivery systems flood frequently, burn up cartomizers and are just a mess. The protank you don't waste fluid if you have to change coils with a full tank. The dct you would have to pull the carto out completely and that means fluid too.the protank is less maintenance.
