Like you, I have lots of vape gear, but my daily go-to favorite is my Russian 91% and IPV-mini.  There are many others I use and love, but side-by-side on the desk, and the Russian finds it's way into my hand

Great question, but, it will change within a few months for me (I hope).
    For now:
ipvD2 Project Sub Ohm SauceCode Herakels Ni200 coil Samsung INR18650-25R It isn't the perfect setup though.  RBA sucks on this one, I have messed up 2.
I'm currently testing the TFV4 tank to replace the SauceCode, but it isn't looking like it will be the one.
I am holding out for hope the ChutluV2.

I've thought of that very question many times since I quit smoking and began vaping (April 8, 2012). I suppose the answer to the "when to stop vaping" question is: whenever maintaining your gear (recharging, refilling, safeguarding, etc.) stops being enjoyable and becomes a hassle to you...when it begins to outweigh the enjoyment you get from the act of vaping, it's probably time for you to quit.

I guess what I'm using now is my favorite, but that might change later on.
Kanger Subox mini with a Efest 3100mah 20A battery
Kanger Subtank mini using the RBA with a 1.0 ohm kanthal 28g coil and a 3mm Ekowool hollow core wick (had to try it and surprisingly it wicks very well)
3d printed drip tip (my own design)
In a few hours I will probably switch to a KPT2 with a 1.8 coil, but what I'm using now is what I use most often.

IStick 50w (battery life and has yet to fail me, second would be Spinner 2)
Davide 3ml with 1.8ohm single KPT coil (No longer available in the configuration I like so I am nursing the 6 my wife and I share)
Standard drip tip is my preference (I used to be averse to metal tips but now prefer them)
Fuzion Vapor "Endless Summer" in 18mg (All I have vaped since for over 2 years)
I still have tons of backups for backups but my Istick is the favorite battery I have ever had. I am a fairly basic guy!

I was just looking..  that is the express kit no tank... and they are out of the blue HV mini. LOL Dang it all. Thanks for the links though always looking to save a buck two myself. The color was not a big deal but I did want the full kit.

I own two TC mods. The Heatvape Invader Mini 50W is what I take with me to work because it's virtually indestructible, but it does have the pesky little trait of shutting itself off and returning to factory default settings at seemingly random intervals. It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. The Kangxin Mini VF 50w operates in much the same fashion as the Invader Mini (minus the factory default reset quirk), but I don't go out with it much because I'm pretty sure (like most other box mods) that dropping it on a hard surface might kill it. Both are very affordable mods.

I used to think that Nicoticket's Custard's Last Stand was the very best custard out there until I tried Clockwerks Custard by Vaping Watch. They're both very good but I think Clockwerks Custard gets my vote and their customer service is most excellent!

Although I'm liking the Subtank mini and Russian 91% more and more, my all-time favorite is still the
Custom Cisco Spec Hybrid HH.357 atomizer at 2.0 ohm, 100% PG
Custom drip shield from Empire Mods
2.5" stainless steel pipe style drip tip
    Eleaf iStick 50W
With way too many toys to choose from, this is still my favorite, dependable set up.

Back on July 10, 2015, I was the winner of a Kangxin Mini VF 50W mod from GearBest in a random drawing right here on Vapor Talk. It arrived in my mailbox on July 23, 2015, and I really have enjoyed using it ever since.

While it doesn't seem to be as rugged as my Heatvape Invader Mini 50W TC mod (nothing is), the Kangxin Mini VF doesn't  appear to be plagued with the same circuitry problems as the Invader Mini...it doesn't occasionally reset to factory default settings after shutting itself off, and although it does go to "sleep" after not using it for a while, it only requires a single click of the fire button to re-awaken itself.
Everything you expect from a good-quality mod is here, too. The Kangxin Mini VF sports a spring-loaded 510 connection, a USB port to charge your single 18650 battery (not included), responsive fire & control buttons that don't rattle, and...wait for it...an LED flashlight! Well, you might not have expected a flashlight from a good-quality mod, but like it or not, the Mini VF has one, and it works quite well.
At under $40, I have to say that GearBest definitely has a winner with the Kangxin Mini VF 50W, and it would be the first one I'd recommend to vapers in search of a good temperature control mod.

Ooh....I'm looking for another temp control mod. Don't get me wrong, I love my Heatvape too, but I've been wanting another back up and maybe one that's not so beefy as the invader mini.  This might be the ticket....

I chain vape my subtank mini but I'm using a 1.5 ohm stock coil right now, 12 watts with airway mostly restricted on my iStick 50W and the tank doesn't get hot at all. All I get is flavor and lots of vapor.

The only time my RBAs crackle and pop is when the wick is a little too thin for the coil. Try using a fatter strip of cotton and see if that helps.

I hear ya', Bebop. I dig TC, too. I've been vaping my ADV in an eGo ONE 1.8ml tank with the same wick and coil in it for over a month now (trying to see how long I can actually vape on it before it starts tasting bad) and it still tastes and performs great. I can't even tell you how many times I've completely drained the tank by accident, but I never once got a throat-burning dry hit.  Amazing.

    Dry hit?  What's that?

I just checked based on my old posts the last time I built a new coil was July 3rd. And that coil is not the one I re wicked this morning.  So this coil went a minimum of 5 weeks and probably more like 6 weeks before I changed the wick.  The only thing I noticed was a slight drop in vapor and flavor, nothing like a burnt taste or a fail.

    I am still diggin' TC.
this morning I was vaping away and I wasn't quite getting the vapor I was expecting. As I was taking apart the STmini I was thinking 'when did I rebuild this last?'.  I couldn't remember, lol.  It's literally been that long. This thing has been chugging away for weeks and weeks.
No surprise, the coil showed some gunk, more so than usual but I have been vamping tank after tank of one of my sweeter darker juices in it.  I pulled it apart, the wick easily slid out of the coil. I brushed off the crud.  I wasn't in a place where I could build a new coil. It cleaned up pretty well, not perfect but nicely. Threw a fresh wad of cotton in her and reloaded. Bam, good as new. Fresh taste, great vapor. Back in business in a couple minutes.
I'm still really impressed with the performance of these coils. Usually, you know, you vape a week and you gotta rebuild. I'll probably let this one go another while then maybe put in a new coil in a week or two, if I get ambitious, lol. Might even try one of those verticals. 'Course, I will be getting my new RBA bases here pretty soon so I'm sure I'll build 'em up right away.

i have no complaints about TC.
