Rixter got a reaction from Uma in Best Ry4?
What's wrong with the smell (and taste) of cheap whiskey?
Seriously, though, I vape Dekang RY4 regularly, and I taste tobacco, caramel, and vanilla, like a sweet-ish vanilla pipe blend.
Since ditching analogs, I have a pretty discerning palate, and I can usually tell (with one pull) which of my juices is in any unmarked carto. Dekang juices, unlike most other brands I've tried, is consistent in taste from order to order, which is one of the main reasons I continue buying it...no suprises.
As they say, though, "taste is subjective"...Brussels sprouts.
PS - I know my recommendations may not carry much weight with you now, but IKV RY4 Gold PG is one that a vaping buddy of mine really likes, but I liked it, too, sooooo...
From their website:
"IKV authentic RY4 E-liquid
Smokey, nutty, and caramelly tobacco fine tuned for perfection with a constant clean burn guaranteed with a 80/20 PG/VG ratio
This e-liquid has been a year in the making of recreating the legendary lost flavor of the Real RY4.
Try the e-liquid that had have gotten thousands off of smoking, what has been a cornerstone in the vaping world.
Many stores across the world tried to duplicate the flavor by using series upon series of concoctions. If you are reading this listing, this means you probably have been chasing the old reminiscent of the lost flavor. Look no further and pick up the flavor one last time and you will be amazed. With steeping comes Greatness. When this liquid is stored in a dark, cool area, the color will start to darken creating a beautiful blast of flavor."

Rixter got a reaction from mse12 in Vivi Nova Double Stack
Maybe the "Triple Stack" will be better, and if not, I'm sure the "Quadruple Stack" will be awesome, but if that's not, then...
(Wow...this quote works for Novas and Burger King burgers!)

Rixter reacted to Uma in Does Amount Of Ohms Change The Flavor Of The Ejuice?
Nope, because the 28gauge is thicker, which changes the Resistance.
The lower 28 gauge wire is thicker, there is more material for the juice to hang up on and linger, which keeps the flavor coming at ya, and the wick wetter as well. The 500 mesh has a stronger matrix which attracts and holds more liquid, so your mesh wick is always wet too. Taste is subjective, but, there is a slight difference for most vapers. If not today, then maybe tomorrow. Our tastebuds are always changing on us.
Very true and :vapor: I'll drink to that.

Rixter got a reaction from Ghost in Vamo "gun-Metal" Finish
Don't panic, dude. There is a solution to your dilemma. I know it sucks to have a messed up finish on a new mod, but J-wraps offers several styles of vinyl mod wraps for just about every PV on the market, including your Vamo. They also do custom wraps from your own pics or logo. Their prices aren't bad either.
I have a Sigelei Zmax and its finish is very smooth and slippery, so I'll be ordering the black carbon fiber Zmax wrap for it this weekend. If you haven't already ordered one by then, I plan to post a review of my J-wrap shortly after I get it.

Rixter got a reaction from Uma in What's Your Favorite Drip Tip
I do like the ceramic tips as well, but the plastic ones are probably just a little less likely to break on me when I'm clumsy.

I too hoped on the lavatube band wagon. It was amazing for a few months until it completely fell apart. So I had my buddies at Vegas Vapes order me a ZMax, I've had it for about a week and could not be happier! Its performance is par none. I have a buddy that has a provari, and my ZMax hits better and harder than his provari, same tank, it out-performs that provari all day long! ZMax is the way to go!

I've only tried a ceramic ming. I agree with mse12 in that it feels great on the lips....especially when it's cold! I just picked up 3 more! Lol

Good answers, i too have been curious about some of nice glass trippy tips, but i'm far too clumsy, it'd be broken within a week

Rixter got a reaction from Uma in Best Way To Try Different Juices?
I've tried a lot (a whole lot!!!) of different e-juices, both U.S. and Chinese, and although I've found some really good U.S. juices, I have to say that what I keep going back to is Dekang's DK-TAB or RY4 from China. Every vaper that I've let try either of those e-liquids for the first time says, "Wow...that's really good!" (or something to that effect).

Just in case 3500mAh isn't enough for you, Super T has Trustfire 26650 Protected 3.7v 5000mAh batteries for $13.45.

The Beast Box VV takes 2 x 26500 3000mah batteries...that's roughly 60 hours of vape time between charges! I WANT ONE!!!

Well I shouldn't have but I just bought my first REALLY BIG battery mod! Yay!! Most are thinking of an 18650...nope. I got a bombshell stinger en route from Hotvapes! This thing takes a 26650 plus the kick! Score! I bought one of hotvape's 3500mah MNKE IMR batteries. I also bought two more additional 26650's. One a 4000mah IMR and the other a "high drain" 3600mah both from www.batteryspace.com we'll see how these two work out. The IMR should be just fine but we'll see about the other it's used in extreme high-drain application up to 18A so I'm not sure how it'll work on a 2-3A load which will be typical with the kick. We'll see for sure. I'm ultra excited for the new toys!

I couldn't disagree more.
The fact is that 8 watts is 8 watts is 8 watts...no matter how you get there. I've done side-by-side comparisons over and over again, and there simply is no detectable difference.
Take two identical VV batteries and put a Boge 2Ω carto on one set to 4v, and put a Boge 3Ω carto on the other one set to 4.9v, and vape the two rigs side by side. They taste the same, they sound the same, they vape the same, they consume juice the same. I've done it too many times to believe otherwise.
There is nothing magic about it...it's simply V² / R = P...nothing more.

Rixter got a reaction from Lapka in Kanger Mt3
For those of you T3 users experiencing dry hits, try this advice from Steve K from his "Kanger T3 Bottom Coil eGo Clearomizer Review" :
"I found in pretty short order, the T3 would give dry hits if I didn’t wait a sufficient amount of time for the coil to re-wick. This was frustrating as I tend to prefer to vape several times in a row.
Fortunately, it turns out there’s a pretty simple modification that can be made to the gaskets to improve liquid absorption and eliminate much of the dry hits. I can’t take credit for this one, a hat tip goes to the good folks over on Reddit.
Unscrew the bottom cap. Remove the gasket that sits on the top of the atomizer, flip the gasket over so the flat side is covering the wicks and replace the gasket. Apparently the gasket in the stock configuration compresses the wicks when the two parts are screwed together. Flipping the gasket keeps it from moving down over the wicks and does not appear to cause additional leaking problems.
Once the hack was in place, I found the T3 much more tolerant to chain vaping. Occasionally, I had to slow down and wait for a few bubbles to appear from the atomizer area. However, those moments were fairly few and far between. Vapor production was already very good, so I can’t really tell if there were any improvements there. I also ran into no additional flooding or gurgling problems in this configuration."
I hope this helps.

He's talking about facing the gasket in the other direction (open end towards the mouthpiece) so it can't compress the wicks.

I posted this earlier in a thread called "", but I figured it would do more good in a thread by itself.

Yes. Got them in and have tried two of the three and they both worked flawlessly. Just tried playing with the gasket to see if it made a difference and it did -- just not in a positive way so I put them back the way they came.

Rixter got a reaction from Synther in Is There Any Point In 0Mg Eliquid?
Madvapes.com has really good prices on 50 ml. bottles of my favorite juice, Dekang DK-TAB, but only sells 24 mg. (too strong for me...most days), 11 mg. (too weak for me...any day), and 0-nic.
3 parts 24 mg. + 1 part 0-nic = 18 mg., which is what I prefer.
