I hope you realize that you are putting a huge dent in my ProVari budget. If I'm gonna get an RBA, I want the best performing one, and they cost more than my most expensive mod.

Although the "DID" is the genuine article, are there others that are better, or is the "DID" the best available?

The AGA-T series is a good cheap one to start with. (they have their faults, but they're a far step up from it's predecessor clones, the griffen/duds/chids). Some stores will include the mesh/coils/allen wrench thingie, etc... and some don't.

For a genuine one, I always recommend the genuine DID series from MMVapors.com, because they're reasonably priced, expertly designed and well crafted, oh, and usually always in stock. They come with everything you need to get set up,mesh, wire, 0-rings, even the drip tip. He also carries all the extra goodies for them, like the Center Posts, caps, nuts, o-rings,... never without a part!!!

The DID20 is easiest for first timers, because it's large. The wick hole is large 3.5 too, which makes it fun for experimenting with wicks and coils. Soon there will be a DID22 (22mm)
The Mini DID is 14mm I believe. It's a lot smaller, but man what a nice warm vape!! This is my fave.
The Gemini is the Mini DID, but with a larger ml Tank.
The Temon is 16mm in size, and is a huge success too.

He is soon releasing 2 HY kits... (1 turns our Poldiac's into a real Hybrid, and the other lends a hybrid look for aesthetics). (but don't quote me, I'm still clear as mud on that).
He likes his products to be compatible with each other, which is a huge bonus. Can always part out one to fix another.
Yep, I'm a fan girl, but he deserves all the fans he has.

All of that probably sounds over the head right now, but in a few weeks, you'll notice how cool the compatible and future features these are.

Oh! and pick up a Cartomiser/Atomizer OHM reader if you don't have a Provari. (actually, they're handy even if you do own a Provari). Madvapes and COV carry them, and I'm sure others do too.

I would check out either discount vapers or my vapor sore. Both have excellent prices. All you need is the unit, some kanthal, some ss mesh and you're solid. Total start up costs for new was under $40.

i turn my unit over so the liquid dont cover the hole/holes. and just burn it. after about 2 or 3 good hits it tends to dry out and hit like a dream. if your punching your cartos or widening the existing holes dont go so far cuz it will flood the carto. hope this helps!

Well, my order from Sweet Vapes came in today containing 2 Vision Nano Clearomizers, and all I can say is WOW!!! I just cant believe that something this small can produce vapor so huge! I'll be posting a YouTube video soon and will drop it into this thread to show how an 80PG/20VG liquid (Dekang DK-TAB) can really throw out some thick plumes of vapor with these little guys.



The Sweet Vapes product page said 2.4-2.9Ω, but both clearos metered out to be 1.7Ω, which is actually fine because they'll work really well with my 3.7v 510 e-cig battery that I use at work. I just wanted to let everyone know that you should probably check these with an ohms meter before using them so as not to pop a coil with too high of a voltage setting. I bought a Hongda DT95B Multimeter from Sweet Vapes for $12.95 a few months ago and it works just fine.

Well I've been vaping for almost a year now and I, for the first time have over vaped. I woke up about 3 hours ago. I haven't eaten yet but drank one cup of coffee. I've been hitting my pv almost the whole time I've been awake. My head is pounding, I've got heartburn and my stomach hurts...way to go me. I feel like an idiot. I'm only vaping 12mg juice and I guess this is my cue to drop it down to around 6mg. Blah I feel like garbage.

Glad you're feeling better MSE! Fortunately, many flavors taste better at lower mg, so it's a win win all the way around. I love my genesis.

Rixter! I highly recommend the genesis style to any vaper who has been vaping long enough to have the ecig basics down pat and a stockpile of plug and play in their arsenal. You are more than ready my friend. Go for it!!

Now that's a product endorsement you can't ignore! Looks like I'm gonna have to break down and get me a Genesis atty now.

I do like the ceramic tips as well, but the plastic ones are probably just a little less likely to break on me when I'm clumsy.

While a larger gauge coil wire has more surface area and vaporizes more juice at any given point in time (which may provide more or stronger flavor due to more juice being heated at once), I don't believe that there is any difference in the flavor between LR, SR, or HR coils vaped at identical power, as stated earlier in this thread:

Lately, I've been getting a few bad Boge cartos here and there in my boxes. I think it's just a case of some poor quality control on the production line, but since a good Boge carto is (IMO) the best performing carto available today (and at less than a buck a piece), I don't mind tossing the occasional bad one out every now and again.

This may or may not be what you're experiencing, but other than the QC issues I just mentioned, I've not had problems with thicker juices in Boge cartos before...it just takes a little longer to saturate fully.

The story we got is that the first-ever no-kidding original RY4 was created literally as a lark during a single afternoon in a Dekang factory in China back in 2007 by two men: Ludo---one of the owners of Janty (who was visiting the factory because Dekang manufactured Janty's e-liquids)---and a flavor chemist, presumably working for Dekang.

The RY4 you're talking about---the now-mythic "lost" Dekang RY4---was one of numerous Dekang variations on the original Janty recipe. It was actually stolen in the summer of 2009 by a Dekang flavor chemist who was departing to start his own juice company. He was subsequently arrested, tried, convicted, and is serving a prison sentence in China. Meanwhile, the stolen recipe remains missing to this day.

So, you want the original? Buy some Janty Elixir RY4. You want the lost Dekang? It doesn't exist, although numerous attempts have been made to replicate it. I hadn't started vaping in 2009, so I never had any of the Dekang reformulation that some folks would apparently sell their first-born to have again, so I can't tell you how close the current Dekang formula or IKV RY4 Gold are. Ikenvape's was supposed to be a dead ringer, but many people who had the lost Dekang insist that it had no nuttiness at all, and IKV RY4 is definitely nutty, so who knows?"
