Cigarettes smell so awful to me now that even if my PV died, I don't think that a cigarette would even be an option. For me, it would be like running out of Cool-Aid and choosing to drink sewer water.

I've thought of that very question many times since I quit smoking and began vaping (April 8, 2012). I suppose the answer to the "when to stop vaping" question is: whenever maintaining your gear (recharging, refilling, safeguarding, etc.) stops being enjoyable and becomes a hassle to you...when it begins to outweigh the enjoyment you get from the act of vaping, it's probably time for you to quit.

One thing I can tell you is that when using nickel wire (required for TC), you can build your coil according to the space you have to build in and not worry so much about hitting a target resistance like you have to do with Kanthal A1.

Even at lower voltages, when the wick dries out, the temperature of the coil skyrockets. TC effectively prevents that from happening by limiting the max temp to whatever you set for a limit. Ive heard that 420F is what most people use to prevent cotton wicking from burning.

Temperature control is like a speed limit. You set your temp limit for just below the flash point of your wick and it keeps it from burning. You can press the fire button with a completely dry cotton wick and you won't burn it. Dry hits are so painful because when there's no juice in the wick, it starts to char. No more dry hits with temp control.

For me, it's not about the water resistance...it's the fact that it's got temp control for under $70. That makes it hard to pass up. No more dry hits or scorched cotton wicks.

When I posted above  I didn't see all the post on the dentist. I was talking about the vents getting clogged. As far as the dentist when I got them cleaned before they had to numb me up but this time they didn't and I had less plack then anytime I went before. I hardly cough now also and its been 5 weeks smoke-free. I took a picture of the last pack of smokes I bought that has like 10 smokes left in the pack and I put that pack in a mason jar and it sits on top off a shelf over my TV in my man cave.

With the sub-Ω craze and all the high-output mods available now, it's about time someone comes up with a safer alternative to lithium batteries.

Uninformed dentist, or at the very least, uneducated in the facts of real-world vaping and buying in to Big Tobacco & Big Pharmaceutical propaganda. Mine said my teeth have never looked better. Same story with every vapor I know. Also, my M.D. said that whatever it is I've been doing lately, keep it up. I want my medical professionals to look at all the facts before regurgitating BT & BP talking points.

No TC? It seems to me that, while really nice, Provaris seem to always be one step behind the rest of the pack on available tech features. I think they are eliminating a lot of potential buyers by not including temp. control. If they did offer it, I'd probably buy one.

This is why I love Temp Control.  I have been on this same coil for nearly 2 weeks and the top fill means I don't have to to remove my tanks except to change coils.  I was just vaping and surfing and my mod died.  I looked up and the tank was totally dry.  I turned it upside down and not a single drop ran out.  The fact that I can vape a tank until it is completely empty makes the TC worth it alone, not to mention all of the other benefits...
Please ignore how dirty my tank looks...

Ok, wow.  I'm happy.  I thought I was going to be waiting forever for my caps but I got the package today and all is right with the world.  I'm impressed with 3AVape.  Everything I received was authentic and I couldn't be happier with them.

I may not be saving a ton....I'm definitely saving something.  But one thing is sure - I'm much happier spending my money where I'm spending it now than I was a few years ago. (cant believe I'm in my 3rd year now).

These CLR heads work beautifully. I just got a couple and loaded one with a nickel (Ni200) build to use with my temp. control mod. The 28g 2.5mm 11/10 unspaced coil I wrapped metered at .1Ω exactly. It's wicked with JOC and with the eGo ONE's airflow control wide open, it's as easy as breathing...fantastic airflow.

BTW - I just saw where Joyetech has heads for the eGo ONE clearomizer with your choice of nickel or titanium coils for use on TC mods. Very cool.

If you had to pick just one setup (mod, juicer, tip, type of coil, battery, etc.) as your favorite, what would it be and why? It needs to be something that you own and use regularly.
    For me, it would be:
Heatvape Invader Mini 50W TC mod (versatile and indestructible) eGo ONE clearomizer (small, adjustable draw, and never leaks or gurgles) Rebuildable CLR head with Ni200 coil & cotton wick (temp control and cheap to rebuild) Smok SS & Pyrex drip tip (never gets too hot) Efest IMR18650 2800mAh 35A battery (plenty of power and reliable) Like most serious vapers, I have a lot of vaping gear (understatement) that I really, really like for various reasons, but this would be what I would grab if I had to pick just one.

I'm still test driving it, but so far, it's been a great tank. It gurgles for a few minutes after filling it, but the gurgling stops pretty fast once you start vaping with it. I ordered some Ni200 coils that should be here in a couple of days. When they arrive, I plan to swap out the RTA section with a factory coil head and give it to him if it still performs well. I just want to make sure that it's a hassle-free tank before I do.
