Rixter got a reaction from BIC in Coil Building Calculator
Here's Coil Toy, a handy little online coil building calculator that you might find interesting. Just plug in your numbers and it shows you what your coil should look like.

Rixter reacted to Bebop in Kanger Subohm Tank Works Fine, then not with TWO mods
Oops. Typo Rixter. Thanks for catching that.

Rixter got a reaction from Tam in Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
From Triangle Vape, I just bought an Aspire CF 18650 mod ($23), a Kanger Subtank ($39), two Sony VTC4 2100mah 30A batteries ($9 each), and an EFest SODA 2 Bay Charger ($10). Total shipped = $94.29
I had planned to pre-order the 22mm Kanger Subtank Mini to go on the Aspire mod, but decided I just couldn't wait for it to be released.

Why is it that when I think of my in-laws flying in, I picture bats?

That Kanger is going to look like a bobblehead on that CF MOD, ask or as they say here in the South, axe me how I know. When the mini comes out I think I'll get the red CF MOD to match the red O-rings. Yeah I'm at that point now where I'm color match my stuff. The wife called me 'metro' I told her to shut up and take off her white shoes, it's after Labor Day!

Rixter got a reaction from raiderep in New Kanger Sub Tank Mini and Nano
The Subtank-Mini has the same features as the original Subtank, but instead of having a 25mm diameter, it's 22mm, which will fit flush on many 18650 mods (including Aspire's new CF 18650). It holds 4.5ml of e-liquid (instead of the original Subtank's massive 6mm juice capacity) and it's available for pre-order here for $40.98 shipped (that's the least expensive I've found).
The Subtank-Nano doesn't have the RBA feature...it's strictly an OCC clearo, has a diameter of 18½mm, and holds 3ml of juice. It's also available for preorder here for $37.98 shipped (also the least expensive I've found).
I'm preordering the Mini this weekend as well as an Aspire CF 18650 mod to put it on...I'll keep y'all posted.

Rixter reacted to Mplough in Kanger SUBTANK vs. Aspire Atlantis, which one would you pick?
I have rebuilt a few of mine and there is a fine line between getting it right and having it flood or dry hit.

Check out this Google Map of TWD locations. Also, here's a cool site with a location index (with pics) sorted by episode.
Yeah, 12 days off work for the holidays and you'll find a lot of pointless stuff to do, too!

I was watching it during my lunch break. I was noticing how much the characters have changed over the years. Darryl was a real punk originally.

Rixter got a reaction from JohnnyFog in To Chuck Or Not To Chuck...That Is The Question
I just wanted to add my 2¢ to the "to chuck or not to chuck" topic of recent debate.
IMO, whichever style of vaping you choose, whether it's mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, it should be the one that satisfies you the most. I see nothing wrong with either style, and both have their benefits.
If you enjoy a vaping style that feels the most like smoking an analog, then mouth-to lung (slight to moderate air flow restriction) is probably the way to go. If you enjoy "chucking" huge clouds, then direct-to-lung (sub-ohm with low nic & plenty of air flow) might be for you. Granted, cloud chucking is mostly performed as spectacle, but I see absolutely nothing wrong with a little showing off every now and then, if that's what you're into.
Basically, there's no "rule book" on the correct way to vape (that I know of), so it's up to you. I typically vape mouth-to-lung, but I occasionally like to show off to vaping buddies with a Mount St. Helen-style eruption of vapor. Just remember that filling a room with dense clouds of vapor can be a little off-putting to some people, so "vaping etiquette" dictates that you use a little common sense before doing so.
Also, I've heard many times that cloud chasers experience little to no flavor in their vapor, but I've found that this is definitely not the case for me, as the juices that I use provide plenty of flavor from both methods.
Lastly, vape safe...know your equipment and its limitations, and however you choose to vape, do it because it makes you happy.
