bcartervol98 Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 After 4 months of continuous use once of my wifes T3Ss started leaking around where the plastic meets the metal. All she has used in it is 24mg Extra Flavor Peppermint 24mg from ECBlends. Not sure if the liquid did it, but something did. That said, I am very happy to get 4 months use out of a $5 tank so either way, its no biggie. She also drops her stuff a LOT more than anyone I know. She was born with dropsies. Almost nightly she gets up out of her chair, her e-cig in her lap, and it hits the tile floor. Another reason she prefers the T3s over glass. She is just not careful with stuff. I bought an extra 5 pack of glass tanks for my Mini Davides and my KPT 2s not for me, but for when she knocks one off the table or something like that. Yesterday the drip tip in my Pluid tank fell off, thought that us was odd because it hasn't happened to me yet. Upon inspection, the Pluid completely destroyed the base if the drip tip. I've been avoiding spending $20 on the glass and stone drip tips, but I may be in the market for some now as I don't really care for metal. Have you tried the jade drip tips from Empire Mods? They're only $5.99 each. Compenstine Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 My wife likes the mint flavors and I set her up with a IClear 16 about a month ago. I have heard about the cracking issues with some flavors and have been keeping a close eye on it. So far no issues. I think I should add I stay away from oil base flavors in my DIY juice. The oil had been known to damage coils so I just don't use it. I have heard that adding everclear or absolute to the oil base flavors can fix that issue, not sure if it has any effect on the tank cracking issues.
