  1. That is interesting.  I've grown real accustom to using all my RTA's on TC.  Wonderful vape experience.  Now and again, I will pop an RDA on a wattage just to get a monster cloud vape.

I'm kinda new to all this but I just tried 3 different RDAs and in TC mode all 3 throw a "Damaged Atomizer" message.
They all work fine if I switch to Watt mode.
Is they the way it is supposed to work?

  2. Looks like a real nice device!  Are you really using TC on Kanthal?

    Walt,
Yes, I am really using TC on Kanthal.
I've tried 3 different tanks (SMOK) all with Kanthal coils.
Works great, that is one of their big advertising statements, "TC with any wire".
It uses a removable battery but also has USB fast charging capabilities.

  3. I'm vapin' on my Hohm Wrecker G2 with the UD Bellus RTA & my Leisimo S3 with the GeekVape Ammit RTA.

How do you like the Hohm Wrecker?
I've heard a lot of good about that chip they use.
I got in on a killer sale on the Hohm Slice for 34.95. It should arrive Tomorrow.

  4. The wattage sounds about right, if I remember right the recommended wattage for the m2 coils is 25 to 45 watts.

I have 2 Baby Beast tanks and one Big Baby Beast. I can easily get 2 to 3 weeks out of a coil, and I vape a lot.

One thing I did notice early on is that if you let the tank run low enough to get a dry hit very often the coils do seen to burn out rather fast.

I forgot to mention, that is my favorite coil but good luck finding them. They seem to be really hard to find.

In all honesty I think the Q2 is about the same coil performance wise even though on the box it has a recommended watts 40 to 80.

  5. I got me a Coil Master so I decided to try something a bit more complicated.

26*2 32ga Clapton dial coil set up.
8 wraps in each coil but folded over in the middle (makes a figure 8), it looks like 4 vertical could.
    Measures in at 0.379 ohms.
It was a bear to wick but it seems to be performing well.f205dd8afed4e4a77125d528f6cde8f6.jpg

    UPDATE
I wasn't really expecting much from this build, I done it as a challenge more than anything.
I really under estimated it, this thing is a beast!
Intense flavor and it really wicks well. Other than the fact that it is a real pain to wick, this one's a keeper!

  7. I personally wouldn't use them like that, as mentioned earlier you should at least re-wrap them with a new insulator on the one.
The fact that your mod was acting up would be the first hint that something is not right.

I've had considerable experience with different batteries from the RC Car world.
From my experience, anytime a battery looks odd or starts acting strange I just get rid of them. The price of batteries is cheap compared to losing a couple of fingers or worse.

Better to be safe than sorry.

  8. I couldn't stand it anymore!  I watched this poor little guy sit for months on the VT shelf all by himself.  No friends.  Like being on the island of misfit toys.  Now he finally has a home.
(He is a bit of a strange one.  No off switch.  Gotta be hooked up to a computer a lot)
    But I love him anyway.

    Nice!
I've been drooling over that since I joined, I noticed it gone today. [emoji41]

  9. Welcome!
I'm pretty new here as well. I quit smoking just over 7 months ago.
I looked around at several different boards and this one looked like the one I wanted to be a member of.
Lots of friendly, helpful people here.

  10. I snagged this on a weekend promo for 4.99!

Regular price 39.99 sale price 29.99, promo price 4.99

I wanted a 22mm tank for a couple of mech mods I have. I wasn't really expecting a lot but man what a surprise!

The flavor this thing puts out is unbelievable.

It's a single coil build deck, 2.5 ml juice resiviour.

    Update
I've been using this for 5 days now and I must admit I'm impressed.
I wasn't really expecting a lot due to the shallow resiviour and the simplicity of the atty. I do wish it held more, I get an average of just under 20 good hits before it needs more juice but man this thing hits hard and with tons of flavor.

And I don't know if I just got lucky or what but this thing really wicks.
I can tell when it needs juice because the flavor slowly goes away but I've never had a dry hit yet.

Here are a couple of shots, one when it's starting to lose flavor and one after juicing the reservoir. And this is only filling the reservoir, not dripping on the cotton or the coils.022986a3cf9dedb451f8161470b8e38a.jpgbf113b16ed31187d8e24b7ec3cf49e82.jpg
