  1. Not really sure what your asking Foo. If you run it without a plug then the air intake with no coil will allow unrestricted air to rush in and mix with the vapor. It will probably overtake the vaper just because it is unrestricted and deliver a lot less flavor. If you plug one side, it should be better but it will probably never equal that of an atty that is made for single coil just because of the aerodynamics of the vapor chamber. As far as a "lower" build, do you mean a lower resistance?
  2. Just thought I'd throw this out here. Just started testing and doubt I will have any real concrete results for some time. I imagine maybe a year's time frame. Here is the protocal I'm playing with. I'm using a baseline of juice "steeped" for one month approx. So far the initial impression is impressive: Mix all ingredients in a 120ml Boston Round leaving 10ml of space at the top of the bottle Cap bottle and warm to 40°C via Souse Vide (Happen to have one. Handy) Homogenize liquid for two minutes keeping the prob head under the surface of the liquid limiting aerobic impact Cap bottle and put in an Ultra Sonic Cleaner for thirty minutes to assist the recovery process Allow juice to cool to room temp overnight I have only tested two recipes so far but they both compared favorably to the same recipe "steeped"

You and "back-ups" will be forever synonymous in my mind. You have taught me well. A few. With back-ups to the back-ups to the....... Yup the drawer grows heavy.

  8. Ok then..... You're just visiting this planet right? Try a robotics forum maybe?
  9. I always smear my vape pens with peanut butter. Keeps folks from picking them up and walking off with them.
  10. Hey back from Michigan! Glad to see you drop by. Your intro sounds very familiar to myself. Groove having some more experience on board!!!!
  11. I really don't have the time to dredge up the supporting data but I've read those reports and many others that counter the ones you are referring to. There are also many treads in various forums with a lot of chatter. What it comes down to is that by the time everything is factored in e.g. heat necessary, parts per million to be toxic, delivery of said heavy metals, etc., the impact is benign. Nothing in comparison to the hazards of smoking.
  12. Welcome! and good luck. That is a weird one. Maybe that one was made by Microslop and they are giving what they want you to have.
  13. Welcome!!! That's what this place is all about.
  14. If you mean ProVape the maker of Provari, here is an article: http://vaping360.com/provape-closes-provari/
  15. Good point. The starting point I proposed may be high dependent upon the tank and coil you are using. Starting lower will surely hurt nothing.
  16. Welcome! The drill is the same for all mods. Set your preheat for normal. Start at a low wattage, say 30W. Vape. Move the wattage up a few notches and vape again. You will find a "sweet spot" with the best flavor, fog, and temperature for you. If you go beyond the sweet spot the flavor will start to diminish and it may even start to taste a little "burnt". If this happens reduce your wattage setting back to the sweet spot. Once you find your sweet spot you can adjust how fast you reach your spot by changing the preheat if you like. Hard will make the device heat up faster, soft will make it heat up slower.
  17. This is just to say Welcome! I have no idea in regard to the X2O. I looked it up online but didn't get much info from that. Hopefully someone else here will have had experience with the device.
  18. The routine I use is to start low and work up. Say maybe 45W and vape, 50W and vape. You will feel the set-up hit a high point and then start dropping off in terms of flavor. Go back to the high point or sweet spot.
  19. Holy Crap! You're a machine today. Let's see, I've been up for about an hour and a half and I've stared at the PC monitor a lot. I did build one TC coil and tested a Cylon. I found out it runs about 40°F hot. Also discovered another battery bit the dust. 100% Sag right off the charger. Probably time to replace that one, lol.
  20. One thing you can do is keep e-juice off of them if possible. There are no seals on the button switches and e-juice will get into the switches and muck them up. Especially the firing switch.
