Okay, this will be my last public pat myself on the back.

I've long long since passed the point of knowing I'll never smoke a ciggy again. Been a great ride in no small part due to the guidance and commraderie found here at VT. I want Christopher and all the guys that put VT here and keep it running to know that I deeply appreciate what you have done for me. Thank you. It is no small thing. I was basically killing myself and now here I stand trying to imagine what a pile Of 15,000 cigarettes would look like - the ones I would have smoked if I hadn't started vaping.

So, yeah, I'll pat myself on the back today. But it's really a gesture and acknowledgment to those that had the genius to create the greatest smoking cessation product ever and to those who blazed the trail before me and created a path out of that death trap and especially those that keep the trail wide open for the next guy.

I do not get mad I just tell them since I started vaping I have:

Lost 61 lbs

Normalized my BP and no longer am treated for hypertension

Off anxiety meds except on the worst of days lol. Used to be 3 a day every day

My son no longer coughs or has allergy problems

My allergy problems disappeared

My MD, dentist and every other health professional I know are supportive

My monthly savings are over $400


There is more but they usually get the picture with half of these few benefits I have experienced.

As I approach two years in a couple weeks I atill have yet to see a down side.

Wow awesome. I agree with him. His "we sre the new smokers" comment is right on and not to be taken lightly.

For the last 6 months or so my wife has a co-worker who "knows all about vaping". This guy has been feeding my wife a constant stream of regurgitated anti vaping info. In every case I have sent my wife all of the debunking articles related to all of his attacks which she forwards to him faithfully. Finally, after 6 months he has stopped feeding her this BS. But I'm not betting he isn't spreading this stuff around elsewhere. THis is a real attack and I think we take for granted sometimes that we have it easy because we right now it is easy but the day approaches when that ends and we find ourselves the new "sinners" and the sin tax starts.

I did it last night with my Kay fun v4 clones and it makes a big difference.

I can't believe the price point on this.  Under 20 bucks for a sub ohm tank (with 2 coils) is pretty crazy.  This might not be a bad backup.

I have 5 Russians... two are authentic (bought on a going-out-of-business sale, or I wouldn't have afforded them either), but the three clones are really good clones from YiLoong and some unknown company, bought for $18-25 each.  The YiLoong clones have "The Russian 91%" printed on the body, with the proper outlined "T" and "R", and the "n's" are upside-down "u's", just like the authentic.
 
It is true, they are best for flavor, but I get satisfying clouds from them too, using 50/50 and 40/60 juices.  Clouds won't win any competitions, but they are thick and smooth, and give the sensation of a fine cigar.
 
The insulators on the Russians (and Kayfun, and many other RTAs) are not designed to handle high heat produced by sub-ohming, and, the flavor is best (for me) when your builds are 1.3-1.5 Ohm, using 28ga on a 3mm mandrel, and lift the coil about 1.5-2.0mm over the air-hole.

Well let see, I read the entire thread. So for my money well spent I would suggest the istick 30w or 50w with a large capacity tank 2.5mL or bigger. Ones that come to mind off the top of my head are the Aspire Nautilus either size, mini 2.5mL and the full size 5mL. Or the Aerotank by Kangertech, those come in many sizes. The Aero Mega is 22mm diameter, the capacity slips my mind at the moment.
 
As far as devices that are higher wattage, just because its there doesn't mean you will always use it. I currently use an istick 50 with a Kayfun v4 and lite plus. Both of those tanks are RTA's and have a 1.4 ohm coil and I run them no higher than 12w.
 
My Nautilus and Nautilus mini have 1.6 ohm BVC coils and I usually run those at 10w on the same iStick 50w.
 
I also have a Tugboat RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) running on a Sigeiei 100w box running a dual coil build at .5 ohms and 50w.
 
I use the iStick mostly because a full charge will last me about 2 days running 1.4 ohms at 12w.

I got the black and hot pink. Then, I bought two different purple wraps to cover them with because the original is a little to slick in the hand for my comfort. I can just imagine me dropping these things.
