Even before you get a mod, get yourself a dedicated ohm meter and acquaint yourself with Ohm's Law. If you already have one and understand the theory of Ohm's Law, then good for you and continue researching the mods and RDA/RBAs and wire and wick/cotton and torches and...and...and...

Well finally got all the supplies in to do my own build (not at the local shop). What do yall think?
28 gauge kanthal wrapped with .6 x .1 kanthal ribbon. came out to .41 ohms.

I think i made the holes a bit too big... trying to think of a way to fill them. Was thinking about a grommet or some type of protection ring.

My brother has this tank and broke it within a week. He replaced with the stainless right after. I had the same question as you be he said he just has a gut feeling when it is getting low or if it gets to it, the taste. Looks slick too.

Considering make it out of 2024 Aircraft Aluminum with mixture of flush and standard head rivets.

Safety was actually one of the things holding me back from doing this sooner. When you are messing with these batteries all types of bad news can happen if its not done correctly. Try seeing it happen on a 787...

Oh I have one. Just not in picture. Its a beat up one that would have not looked so great in the picture with all the abuse it takes. Aircraft Mechanic here.
