  1. And Btw, the sigeli 20w he has is awesome.
  2. Dude, my buddy has the sigeli 20w and it's dumby proof. I worked as an electrical engineer testing generators and trust me ohm's law takes serious years to actually master. For this all you need to understand is output voltage say 3.7volt gets squared. So 3.7 x 3.7. The you divide that by your resistance of your coil. That gives you the wattage. But the sigeli you just set it to whatever you want. Just food for thought.
  3. I am new to the nicer vaporizers. I have smoked since I was about 17-18. I am now 30. Depending on the time of my life I was up to 2-3 packs a day. About 8 months ago I got the blu 100 setup going on. I almost quit smoking completely but only through willpower, not from the vaping experience. My buddy I work with wanted to help me kick it so he dumped some cash and time into quite a few mechs, 20w variable output devices and also ego sized setups. He has a good group of rda's and rba's that he lets me try anytime. I got the kanger pro tank 3 and a few batteries. This made me able to get through my work day without even thinking about a cig. From trying his setups I knew I could be MUCH happier though. I got tired of the leaks and finicky coils. See here for my most recent investment in my health Now this is amazing. I have a lot still to figure out for just the right carto or RBA for this loki tank but just how it is its WOW. I prefer a compact carry. So even though the 18650 has better attributes I kinda dig the 18350 and bring a few spares along. I could have gone with a nice variable device, but I have no interest. The mech seams to me to be the most versatile. My advice, try what you can and seriously think about what you will actually carry, what will actually satisfy the urge and take the plunge. My ego kangers aren't going anywhere, but they just don't touch my new setup for the vaping experience I am getting now. I am a complete rookie in this hobby, but I believe all you need to know is what makes you satisfied.
  4. Fired up the trident with dual coil build at 0.7ohm. Throwing some nice clouds. My buddy did a nice job on this one. Still like the vapor out of the Loki better.
  5. Went a night trying the 18350's. Today trying the 18650's image by Richstag, on Flickr I am loving the patina its forming already. I am contemplating getting another set of 18350's to stack and up my voltage for the 2.7oh cartos I have. 7.4v would bring me to about 20w on these if I did my math right. Anyone stack 18350's? I need to keep the cells on the same charge/discharge cycle, but are there any other particularities?
  6. image by Richstag, on Flickr This thing is just absolutely ridiculously awesome. 2.7 ohm flow cargo, 12mg 70/30 vg/pg and 18350. I don't know how to explain this other than awesome. This thing somehow took the flavor I used daily in the Kanger Protank 3 mini and made it a completely new flavor. I don't know how, but it isn't even remotely the same. So much better. This mech is perfect for me.
  7. More of the packages arrived. image by Richstag, on Flickr The Surefire King bounced back to the PO
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHEaVfmqUTc Got a new charger and some batteries. 18350 and 18650 image by Richstag, on Flickr And tank Waiting on mech and cartos. Going to order Kick 2 and Diver V2
  9. image by Richstag, on Flickr Love the tank, so much nicer than pictures make it seem. The charger is pretty nice too.
  10. Thanks for the input! Are there certain brands of cartomizers that are the best? Do these produce vapor differently than other coil types and if so whats the technical breakdown for the differences? Sorry for so many questions.
  11. Btw, Loki tank comes with medium 35mm and large 45mm tubes. You can order a short too. Thanks guys.
  12. Thanks again guys. I was researching the cartomizers I bought to make sure they fit the 36mm tube for the Loki. If not I was going to order the short Loki tube to match. vaperevolution_web_cartos1 by Richstag, on Flickr These are the ones I picked to try. I found out they are 2.7 ohm and their "low resistance" are 1.7ohm Of course I will try both of these myself, but what info on cartomizors for this set up do you guys know to help me out? I am going in with no knowledge of these. Thanks again,
  13. Haha, thanks guys! Now I don't feel so bad about it. I will post up a pic when I get it all together. Appreciate all the kind words.
  14. Thanks dude! It has to be my only mech. I get too sucked into this stuff. Knives since around 99. Could have bought a vacation home... Flashlights? I was mentally ill for that hobby! Ah, but I love all my high end quality gear.
  15. I just put an order for Surefire knurled king mod brushed brass limited edition roman numeral IV, Loki V2 brushed brass, xTar VPI charger, 2 Sony 18650, 2 AW IMR 18350 BT, Brass Sumo tip and Flow Cartomizer short standard resistance punched box. I hope this is a long lasting solid set up. It will be my only mech.
  16. I use a 70/30 VG/PG mix. It's basically pina colada but called "secret blend" at a local shop. I was a two to three pack a day smoker and I did Blu's for the last 8 months. Still smoked with them. My buddy jumped into vaping hard and got into all$ of it a little. I tried all of his stuff. Seriously awesome for sure. But for an all day smoke the light flavors with lots of nicotine are what I want. Most strong flavors get overwhelming. I ended up liking 3.7 volt with 1.5 ohm head. This gives about 9.1 watt if I'm not mistaken. I like the 2.0 ohm on this set up but I like 1.5 the best. Just a little more dry, slightly warm, yet still cool. Gives me a lot more vapor than a cig and it's good enough to keep me from smoking for the most part. Going from cartons a week to a couple packs is good. I have found with my VV battery that these citrus fruit flavors will burn at higher voltage/wattage. I try some up at 20w and it's just pointless. I think it all depends what you want. I will get a mech and RDA just for my truck though. When driving I wish I could get those massive clouds to just fill my lungs.
  17. That's a shame. I always try to support small local business when I don't feel completely ripped off in doing so. The local store by me usually beats online prices. So I guess I'm lucky.
  18. Okay. Cool thanks. Just so long as there isn't any worry I couldn't find with my Google search.
  19. IMG_20140510_193137_edit by Richstag, on Flickr Here is a lousy blurred cell pic of my current daily carry. I love this thing for what I use it for. Its basically perfect. As I was setting up my better half with her own I looked up Kanger batteries. I found a total recall in 2013. Is this all hashed out and out of our concern? Thanks,
  20. Thanks Ry. Looks like there's not much info here for this set up.
  21. So then the Loki is a clone? Whats the original version of that?
