  1. Your welcome. If it's just exterior and not threads or contacts it doesn't really matter. Brass is soft and very easy to polish. And yeah, it's bad when ur drinking your cleaner but I did this afternoon. Mellow cleaning. Basically you want the least abrasive possible. Polishing softens crisp edges and prematurely ages machined figuring such as emblems.
  2. The thing is with brass and carbon steels is the layer of oxidation will build to the point that it begins to prevent corrosion. Trying to keep these polished is harder than forming a nice patina. If you want to protect it without a curing/hardening coating try renwax. It will actual build as you apply more coats. If the alcohol doesn't brighten it up as much as you want then you need to move to polishing. I used to be a polishing fool but I learned the oils in my skin are too corrosive to make it worth it. Patina vs no patina is an age old debate with advantages in both directions.
  3. I could give you a list of buffing compounds, wheel types, cork belts, scotchbrite belts and etc but first give alcohol a try. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and the layer of oxidation that forms can be broken down with alcohol. Apparently it separates the hydrogen bonds of the oxidation type. Isopropyl has a substance that leaves a film. I use grain alcohol.
  4. I was looking at these when I found my loki tank. I remember seeing sub-ohm coils from Kanger.
  5. Haha, thanks. Its really no biggie. Watts is voltage squared divided by resistance. Amperage is wattage divided by voltage.
  6. Now I want to change the title of this thread to include 6.5amp max. I guess guys building 0.6 ohm and lower coils would know better anyhow. If there is a way to edit titles let me know.
  7. Gotcha. Yeah I just did calculations. If I'm 1.5 ohm at 3.7 volt I am at 9.12watt. Then divide 9.12w by 3.7v gives me 2.46amps. I think I'm good! Thanks bud. I'm not a sub ohm cloud chaser. Just a smoker trying to quit looking for the best battery life for my setup. Saw the protection as a positive. I have the sony 30amp for low ohm but I'm not into that stuff.
  8. My bud just got one of the lite versions and it is amazing.
  9. I actually wanted the protection since I'm using a mech. But if it makes it unusable that would not be fun.
  10. Okay so here's what I don't understand. The AW 18350's I have been using say they are 6 amp max discharge. If these 18650's are 6.5 why are they unusable?
  11. Okay, please explain that part to me. That is the kind of info I was looking for. The sony's I use now are 30amp and 2600mah. What is wrong with it being protected for vaporizers? This is why I am asking.
  12. I saw a cool one made of ebony wood the other day.
  13. Yeah, I've got three coming. Will post up impressions of these.

  15. Yeah it works fine in my kanger too. Doesn't wick in the flow cartos. Had to cut it THINNER with 70/30 VG/PG before it would wick.
  16. My buddy gave me a bottle of this in 18mg. Wow, its really a great mix! I found its too thick for my cartomizers though. My normal mix is 70/30 VG/PG. I never had a wicking problem with the cartos I have been using. They have about a 2.3mm laser cut hole. Is this juice designed more for RDA's and other systems? I know I could punch out a larger or additional hole, just trying to see why this juice acts so much different. Ideas? Thanks

    Diver V2

Looking for help on this one before making a purchase. I will be getting it for a Loki V2 tank. As much explanation, feedback and info on the non-resistance and resistance coil build as possible would be great. Looking for help. Thanks,
  18. I control your mind, Ryan. Next you will 26650. You will 26650.

  20. Wish Ry would post up his new Vanilla copper and Kayfun... Thing is awesome
  21. Don't like the kick. Didn't fit right for any battery type. had to remove the pin adjuster for it to fit and then it still had a little rattle. At 15watt it was actually good with no burning which is odd because on my buds sigeli at 15w it burned up. Anyhow, giving the kick to my buddy for his collection. Just ordered 1.5ohm cartos and three AW 18650 Protected 3400mAh batteries. I didn't really want to rely on electronics anyhow. Next I need to find a brass RDA. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Pictures really help here too. Thanks,
  22. image by Richstag, on Flickr Blew the cotton out of my carto by accident so swapped to the trident. Didn't bother to adjust pin for flush fit.
