  1. Oh gotcha! Well maybe one day! Love following what your doing here.
  2. Well I have worked with it before and it's pretty easy to work with. I suppose you could buy a block and mil out for the housing. Just use a slab for the front. It's super easy to drill and shape and grind. I just think it would make your mods really above and beyond. Micarta's have awesome grip and feel in your hand.
  3. Have you ever thought of building these out of micarta?
  4. KRG_2333 by Richstag, on Flickr Here is an updated pic of mine with the V2 Sumo Tip. Hope to see a daylight pic of yours!
  5. Thanks guys and yeah the toothbrush is great The white pencil eraser is also great for corrosion heavier than the alcohol alone can remove. I haven't had to move on to any abrasives yet. Hopefully preventive maintenance will avoid that.
  6. Here is something to try. Make a 1.5ohm micro coil around a blunt tip, get it as centered and low to the deck and air hole as possible, roll the cotton wick medium density so it's not hard to pull through the coil but filling the inside of the coil, cut the wick to just curve down and touch before the juice channels and remove the airflow screw from the base. You need to run a 50/50 blend for this but it's awesome.
  7. Yuck. I just made another 1.5 ohm coil. I think I am finding this is my sweet spot.
  8. Yuck. I just made another 1.5 ohm coil. I think I am finding this is my sweet spot.
  9. Looks nice! Sweet patina building. If you want help with the coils and wicks let me know. I have been running 1.3 ohm but I think the real sweet spot is 1.5 to 1.8.
  10. I never got this with the flavors for the blu e-cigs. Its actually the main downfall for me. I wish I could find a flavor that was really great even once you become somewhat desensitized to it. I mean, I never got this sensation with real cigs. Honestly, in the past week I have reached for a cig for the flavor and not the nicotine. This has been somewhat annoying me. I almost wonder if it isn't the overwhelming amount of vapor you get or just particular flavors?
  11. I don't know from PC. Maybe try the advanced options to attach it. Flickr is easy.
  12. Your not going to want to go much over 2ohms but not for safety. It won't give you enough vapor much higher with an unregulated mech.
  13. Your welcome. Have any pics of the mech? Would love to see it. What rta did you end up with?
  14. 1. Low ohms is less resistance allowing more power to flow. Higher ohms is higher resistance restricting flow of power. You need to realize how much wattage and amperage your coil will draw from your battery. Keep it in the safe range for your battery. 2. Effects resistance. You get more or less for both thickness and length. 3. Wicking should be particular to the VG percentage of your juice. Also more than just wicking you need to keep in mind airflow. 4. Sub ohm is below one ohm.
  15. I am sure there are tutorials and such but I just thought I would share how I found works for anyone just bumping along into this. I have a short list of tools. Microfiber, q-tips, toothbrush, pipe cleaner, plastic cup, alcohol and 760g grease. Take it all apart to bits and spray down with alcohol scrubbing with toothbrush. Let it all soak for a while in the alcohol. image by Richstag, on Flickr Clean the inner threads of the switch and firing pin with the pipe cleaner. Give it all another good brushing then wipe it inside and out with the microfiber and again pipe cleaner. Then let it all set out to dry avoiding finger oils on the clean parts. image by Richstag, on Flickr Then I get a nice pile of nyogel on the clean surface and apply to ALL threads, male and female, with the q-tip and again the pipe cleaner for those tiny inner threads of the switch and firing pin. image by Richstag, on Flickr Put her all back together, spray it all down one last time with alcohol and wiper off. image by Richstag, on Flickr Hitting so so smooth and strong. Very happy with this set up so far. Hope this may help some just dipping their feet into mech's.
  16. Yeah it does and after switching to the kayfun this stuff is killer
  17. Your very welcome. Finishing is one topic I can be helpful on
  18. Sat my entire stash in front of my three 12 inch cerwin vega subs. Now we are talking
  19. Oh, for the resistance meter I bought a really cheap one. I just wanted one for my bag and also to build on. I just made sure it is accurate with a real multimeter.
  20. Yeah man, flitz is great and if you want one even better get Renwax http://www.amazon.com/Picreator-Renaissance-Wax-200ml/dp/B0012S1XBO/ref=sr_1_1/184-2890789-9102737?ie=UTF8&qid=1402365120&sr=8-1&keywords=renaissance+wax+polish Shine that baby up and put a few hard earned coats of renwax. You will be very happy.
  21. I believe this is the exact one. http://shop.vaperev.com/rebuildables/svoemesto/kayfun-lite.html
  22. I have the kayfun lite plus also coined "second batch" My buddy has the same too. He loves his and he has gone through quite a few. image by Richstag, on Flickr We were just talking about them today and he basically said he spent way too much money on stuff just to realize all he wanted was a nice mech and kayfun.
