    Ryan,

Congrats on your decision to quit tobacco. You're gonna be amazed at how much better you feel, and all the other benefits, taste, smell, money etc. After slowly poisoning yourself with tobacco smoke, you are now going to enjoy smoking vapor with virtually no health consequences. shortly, you'll never even consider going back to tobacco.
There are lots of people here with lots of experience who have all experienced everything you are going through and I can assure you were are thrilled for you and willing to help in any way possible.
Read everything you can about equipment and I am sure you'll find just the right PV (personal vaporizer) for your needs. Best of luck to you, and again, congratulations on a wise decision.

Before I quit analogs, and was still smoking cigars, my wife and I went to pick up pizza. As I was standing outside waiting for her, I thought I'd light up a cigar. When I realized I wouldn't have time to smoke it, I just put it in my mouth between my teeth. A lady drove up and parked about 50 ft. away from where I was standing, and when she got out of her car, she saw me and started coughing, gaging and waving her hands in front of her face like she was fanning away smoke. She yelled at me to move away from the door and said the smoke was choking her. When I held up my unlit cigar and said "lady it isn't lit," she in disgust, stopped coughing, gaging and waving her hands, and replied "Well, I don't care, it stinks anyway."
This is simply stated, an example of how unreasonable and crazy people are about the issue of smoking. This person was suffering physical symptoms of trauma from something that didn't exist.

An fun thing I have found, is converting a used cartomizer or 510 T to use with a drip tip.
This works well with a cartomizer or 510 atty that doesn't work well any longer.
When you have some that have been cleaned multiple times and just don't work well anymore, try this.
For some reason even when they no longer work normally, they seem to work relatively well for dripping.

For the Joyetech 510 T attty, simply remove the tank and add a drip tip. If you take some nail polish remover, or 400 grit sandpaper, you can remove the exterior black paint flash coating in a matter of minutes, exposing a beautiful stainless steel finish. Six drops of liquid provides around 20 good size puffs. You'll be surprised at the amount of vapor this almost worn out atty provides.

With a cartomizer, Eversmoke, Blu or similar, carefully remove the cotton batting inside the cartridge with tweezers or a paperclip bent with a slight hook at the end, and add a drip tip. Peel off the exterior filter plastic covering, and remove the glue that was holding the cartridge covering on with whatever works, (alcohol, baby oil, glue-be-gone). Under that plastic covering is a beautiful stainless steel tube. Attach your drip tip and it works just fine. With the Eversmoke and similar, screw the cartomizer down relatively snug onto the battery to prevent leakage. If you put more than 6 drops in, you'll get some leakage at the seam where the battery attaches.
The Blu has a narrower barrel and a standard drip tip won't work. If you can't find one to fit, you can use the factory black tip or just leave it off altogether and go native. The cotton batting is also packed more tightly than others and is a little more difficult to remove. Once you get it started with the paperclip, a small needle nosed plier works fine to pull the balance of it out in one piece. The Blu atty doesn't seem to produce as much vapor as some of the others.

The other neat thing about this setup, is that with a small battery, it fits neatly inside you hand and is easy to conceal, when needed.
    Have fun.

So, I'm not even two weeks into vaping and I'm reading most, if not all, the posts here and info I can! My first purchase 2 weeks ago was a VaporKing Storm 2.0 Clearomizer kit. Not super satisfied with it. So, I have purchased about 40 different juices from various vendors. And then I bought 3 different 510 batts and 4 different tanks/clearos. Now I get the reference to "vapemail". I won't get home from the road till friday so, the mailman is safe! Lol! Not sure if I'm obsessed or posessed!

    Hello,

I recently joined the forum and am pleased to be a member. My story is similar to most with a few exceptions.

I smoked cigarettes and cigars for 60 years. Hard to believe that in that amount of time (inhaling the cigars also), I am still alive and in excellent health. Oddly enough, in a recent complete medical, my doctor advised I have a complete pulmonary workup because of my many years of smoking. It showed I had relatively little lung damage in spite of those years of smoking. I am very lucky.

Over the years, I literally tried every conceivable method of quitting tobacco; lozenges, patches, nicotine inhalers (which interestingly enough, my Nicotrol Inhaler contained PG) support groups, and you name it. I was never able to successfully stop smoking.

A few months ago, I purchased an e-cigarette while I was enjoying one of my favorite cigars. After trying the e-cig, I sat down my half finished cigar and have not touched tobacco since. Literally quit analogs in 3 minutes. After that I upgraded to better equipment including mods, and in addition to the enjoyment of vaping, now consider it a hobby.

Within a week of switching to vaping, my smokers cough of many years disappeared, my sense of taste and smell returned, and I enjoyed a heightened sense of physical well-being. I love being a non-smoker and promote vaping to everyone who will listen.

Pleased to be a member, and hope to be an asset to the group.
