If its not tasting burnt it might be too low ?

Should be some markings on the dial start on the lowest, normally 3.2 and work up slowly. If it tastes burnt drop it back a touch.

Just an update, I just got the PT3 to work! I pulled the pin down and filled it up and presto it's working like new. Well better than new considering it has never worked.

Just me, but I would get the original when it comes to the DNA 20. After all I have seen building computers I wouldn't do a clone on a PCB.

The cost of these chips alone are as much as most standard VV/VW mods like the Vamo, SID..etc. You can't buy a Ferrari for the cost of of a Toyota. If you want a less expensive DNA 20 or 30 you would need to buy the chip and build one. Sorry but that is the only way. Doing a wood Mod would be the less expensive route. There are several people doing them and there are tutorials with parts lists available.

I'm going to take your word for it, Medic. It doesn't seem to matter what the tobacco flavor is mixed with I can't seem to get the taste out of my mouth when I vape it so I stay away. Hard to believe I smoked for 30+ years and I can't stand the taste of tobacco anymore.

Also giving up on the OrangeZilla. Since they changed...whatever they changed in their ingredients...this stuff is not vapable. At all. I've tried all kinds of things and nothing helps. So sad now. It was such a great juice before they started fussing with it.

JC gold reserve, has a honey orange flavor. Very good! First sweet and fruity juice I've liked.

Kanger itself just recently issued a warning of counterfeit items on the market. I own several of their products and when threading to tanks or charger is sloppy, they arrive totally uncharged, there is no manufacturer packaging or labeling and no logo on the bottom. It is suspicious! Add to that an immediate malfunction and what am I supposed to think?

Anyway, thanks for offering the refund. I will get them back to you right away.

I'm inclined to disagree. In my opinion and experience, it depends on the user and how well they take care of their stuff. On May 10, 2012 is when I started vaping on eGo-C pass throughs that got upgraded to eGo-T pass throughs. All of which still work just fine today and are extremely dependable. My Vision Spinners? All work just as well as the day I bought them. Same with my Evod, K100 and now the VTR.

"Dependable" is in the hands of the user.

When I think of a Provari for some reason I think of fly fishing lol. I fish a river here in East Tennessee where there are these guys that tie their own flies, have $400 waders, tie their own flies, and Sherlock Holmes hats covered with flies. Then there is me, cargo shorts, spinning rod, and a box of night crawler worms. We both catch fish, they just do it with a style. Thats what a Provari is to me personally.

Just easy to use has all kinds of forums and to me going to the website is a pain can do all from my phone

Another Trimester (LOL) has passed and breezed past the 9 month smoke free point a couple days ago. I have been so tied up I have barely been on the forum lately. I am opening a new department at work that has kept me on the run but should be about a 25% increase in income over the next year so cheers to that! Either way, I barely have had time to eat lunch much-less browse VT at work all day lol. Just a couple things to share:


1. All my issues with "NO PG Added" liquids have been resolved by replacing the flavor wicks with a single piece of 2mm cotton yarn. Its a little more high maintenance since I have to replace the cotton every tank or two because it burns faster than silica but the flavor and vapor is wowtastic

2. I have gotten away completely from lugging my Vamo everywhere I go. I still love it but now I go into work with 2 full Davide Minis and a 1000mah and 400mah Ego style battery. So much more convenient to have the smaller unit in my front pocket. It has become my at home PV. While at the training class in Charlotte for the week I used them and realized there is not that bog a difference in the vape. I just top them off each night and have simplified things.

3. I am finding more and more places that are Vape Friendly. I was allowed to openly vape (in the bar area which is where I sit anyway) at Ruths Chris Steak House, Outback, Chilis, and in the lobby area of the Mariott where we stayed in Charlotte. I am seeing more and more e-cigs in the dealership and two of the people I hired for my new department came from the other place in town that already has the department I am opening and it was because they made them go off the property to vape-smoke. They treat it the same. I was able to hire their best two employees away simply by allowing them to work in a vape friendly environment. Pretty cool imo.

4. Go Seahawks!

You might go to the DIY section of this forum for a more exact ratio and links to online calculator. I just do it the non-scientific way and go with a couple drops at a time until I get it where I want it. Sorry, but that's the best I can do. There are others on this forum who DIY and can give you more info.

I didnt start smoking til I was 23. Getting through teen years without smoking is no gaurantee you're home free. It might be different today since the anti smoking crowd have taken over the planet.

I would never promote vaping to teens or non smokers but I sure as hell would rather see a teen vaping over smoking.

My neighborhood market now carries a couple of different brands of Cig-a-likes as well as an ego knockoff blister pack which weren't there a couple of months ago.

Today I came out of a grocery store and happened upon a guy vaping away on a Vamo or something. I raised my spinner and protank in acknowledgement and got a smile and nod in return.

It's awesome that vaping is catching on. Post your stories, pictures, whatever you see that show vaping has arrived.

Just my opinion but I'd go with a 50/50 blend if you're wanting the 24 mg of nic, maybe even go 40PG/60 VG to help smooth things out even more with that high of a nic content. I have one juice at 24 mg and it takes a little more VG to keep it from being bitter and harsh. Beware that more VG in your juice, the thicker it is and the more likely it will be to gum up your coil.

More PG = thinner juice, better flavor delivery, harsher throat hit
More VG = thicker juice, slightly sweeter flavor, more vapor, more likely to gum up coils
More Nic = more bitterness in the juice, more jitters should you vape too much at all once
