Well it arrived today, yay, but I still don't know what version I have! It doesn't say on it or on the packaging. You're probably right, it doesn't have variable wattage or an ohm meter...which is fine with me since I don't know a thing about either of those...yet.
I'm very happy with it regardless. Quite the change from all my eGo and eGo type batts!

Yeah I figure that three favors is good to start. I think I will like switching them up. I Never minded menthol but did not smoke them. I bet I might like the mint e-liquid.

I am sure once I get the kit I will have a bunch of questions. I know the first place I am coming for help.

It's not perfect, but it works, 5 months tommrow, after smoking for 25 years solid, 30 years total. My life has totally changed for the good. I can breathe, taste, smell, run, swim. I don't stink, my house doesn't stink, my truck doesn't stink, my clothes don't stink. I have an extra 50 bucks in my pocket every week, even after buying all I need and more vaping supplies. The first two weeks are still a *****, there is other addictive material I mean CRAP in those stinkies, and you have to get past that. Add a ton of water to your daily intake, and it's a breeze. After trying every other quitting drug, tool, program you can think of, and I tried them all..this one worked...Spend no more than a carton of analogs and give it a shot, what do you have to lose??? Oh ya, your life is all.........GOOD LUCK!!!!

As a new vaper I was looking for a good beginner mod so I got the mvp v1 and I loved it I didn't need all the features it came with but it was good to know they were there if I needed them but the only thing I didn't like it didn't have a ohm meter built in like most mods but I could deal with it I used it a lot and loved it then two months later the mvp v2 arrived and I was excited to hear it is vv and vw with a ohm meter it goes from 3.3v to 5 and 6w to 11 it works well some more experienced vapers may not be impressed with it but I think it is a good device so far and it is a good mod for beginners to I wish it went to 6v and 15w but that's ok its all metal and seems to be well made and the battery life is amazing.

I haven't really been buying much other than juices the last few months, my daughter's getting married next month so any "extra" money has been going to that.

Two weeks ago, I bought a 1300 mAh rainbow Vision Spinner and a 650 mAh pink and white sparkle eGo batt from TheVaporGirl. I figured I needed something fancy and flashy to match all the fancy and flashy things at the wedding and reception!

Yesterday, I went to eCigsPlus to order some of one of my all time favorite juices, their Fresh Vapor Pina Colada, and a 2500 mAh iTaste MVP VV kit just JUMPED in my cart! It was amazing. I had no control over it at all! lol Well, for some reason the iTaste MVP had been calling my name for months, despite the fact that I probably won't even understand how to use all the bells and whistles it has! I'd been following the prices from different vendors and was surprised that eCigsPlus had theirs for only $39! I took that as a sign I had to have it!

Now anxiously hanging out at the mailbox....

Ok bored a work again but I thought I would chronicle where I started, mistakes I made, and where I am now hopefully to help at least one other person not go through some of the pains I did.

It all started for me during the University of Tennessee Spring Game weekend. Arian Foster, former UT player and current Houston Texan of the NFL came into town for the weekend. I had hosted a party for him and many other former and current NFL players that went to UT. Just like in any other event, I tried to think of who else were smokers so I could have company by the firepit and only thought of one friend that owns a local radio station. My wife and I were like, cool, at least there will be one. Well when everyone arrived and were drinking, playing cornhole, beer pong, all the things people do at a party...I decided I wanted a smoke and asked my friend if he wanted to have one with me. He said he had quit. WHATTTT? My wife and I are the only smokers? How can this be. He explained to me he had done it with E-cigs. Now he had bought an Njoy King and nursed it only treating his withdrawals when they got the worst they could get. After 2 Njoys he was done, and as of this day he has not touched anything else. Well I thought, I am not gonna do that. We went on and had a great party.

The next day, the day of the game, I went with my friends and former players to where they spoke to the team. My wife set up our tailgate and then we all came out there. Of course Arian and others got mobbed so we went into the stadium early to hang out on the field and see other people in the UT Football family. I realized I was about to have to go 4-5 hours without a smoke and panicked. What would I do? I was getting crap from a lot of my friends since they couldnt understand my angst about going 4-5 hours without a smoke. I was pretty drunk so I made it through and on my way home said......I may try this e-cig thing. The next day, I went and bought 2 NJoy kings and started my journey. I said I was done with cigarettes, and from that day I have not had another one. I did however quickly realize the NJoys were gonna get expensive! $6.99 each plus tax and going through 2 a day. I had no idea what was available, so we visited the Cigar Store in our local mall and bought 2 starter kits, one for the wife and I, of something called "Topaz". They were $89.99 each and had 2 of the little V2 style cigarette looking automatic batteries and cigarette filter looking cartomizers. WOW these were a step up from the NJoy but I realized how expensive it was gonna be. $24.99 for an extra battery, $8.99 per cartomizer, tiny crappy disposable clearos were $15.99 and 10ml of liquid was $20. Not good.

Being myself I started searching online and learned about the Ego style batteries. I somehow stumbled upon VapeDudes and bought my wife and I the $38.99 starter kit without very high hopes. After all, how could a $38 kit be better than an $89 kit? Once it arrived I was THRILLED (and pissed at the cigar shop in the mall) with the quality of the hit. I wasnt super fond of the first round of flavors, but Strawberry Fields was in there and we knew right away we liked that. Then we found Spearmint, that led to the Candy Cane. I found a great Tobacco flavor at Sweet-Vapes because, like every other noob, I felt like I HAD TO HAVE a good tobacco. About the same time, I found VaporTalk and then the education started. I learned about VV and found out I had to have that so I ordered some Vision Spinner 1300mah batteries. Then I moved from the CE4 disposables to the Kanger T2s really by accident, thinking they were the same thing. Then I wanted to try BCCs and the T3S was awesome and like most others, at this point, my switch to all glass is complete with Davides and KPT2.

I really dug into VaporTalk. What a great resource, people that have been there and done that....got the TShirt. I listened, didn't argue even when I felt I was right, and learned. I know now how to handle almost any situation. I have tried 63 liquids of which only 3 are flavors I like. I am a juice snob I guess. I have now switched to glass tanks mainly but still have plenty of my trusty T2s and T3Ss on standby.

Long story short (too late lol), there are some GREAT people on here that will give GREAT advice if you are willing to take it. Just like in anything else, people tend to go from knowing nothing to knowing everything in not a lot of time lol, so remember to keep an open mind. If I can do it, after 27 years of a pack and a half to 2 packs a day, then so can you. This was my first attempt to quit. I do not like to fail, its not an option. I wanted to make sure I was ready to quit when I did because failure was not an option.

Probably the most important thing I have learned in this time is this, and if you only pay attention to one thing, pay attention to this:

EVERYTHING WITH VAPING IS SUBJECTIVE!. Reviews are only a general guideline, and what I love you may hate and what you love may taste like hell to me. Same with batteries, mods, hardware, clearos, tanks, dripping, or any of the other things VaporTalk has opened my eyes to. I celebrate 4 months analog free as of today, and was bored at work, so decided to share my story in the hopes 4 months from now someone else might say that helped them reach a milestone of some sort. I feel such a debt of gratitude to those on here that helped me. You know who you are.

Updated with the new color coded T3S's. In there are 5 Kanger T3S filled with Strawberry Fields, Spearmint, and Candy Cane all from Vapedudes and Juicy Peach and Traditional Tobacco from Sweet-Vapes. All 24mg and either 70-30 or 80-20. I keep two EgoT 1000mah, two Ego mini 400mah, and one of my Spinners (for when I want Tobacco flavor, I prefer the 1000mah over the spinner for all other flavors). Always have 2-3 replacement coils and the stock of Q-Tips for cleaning up a refill or condensation out of the mouthpiece. Just finished filling tanks and packing my case for the lake tonight and tomorrow. If it would only hold my charger.....

My first introduction to EC Blend's site was from Rixter. He raved about the chocolate malt flavor from this vendor. Even though I have an allergy to chocolate (yes, I know. It's a terrible thing), I decided to give it a try to see if I could vape it. My first order was for a 15 ml bottle of chocolate malt and the same of vanilla malt (6 mg nic, 50 PG/50 VG, extra flavor).

They arrived very quickly and I tried the vanilla right away. It was very good, but after letting it steep for a week or so (as recommended on the flier sent with the liquids), it was even better! The chocolate malt was tried very carefully as I didn't know if it would produce a reaction. What a wonderful surprise to find I could vape this!!!

Since then I've been ordering all kinds of different flavors...in all nearly three dozen different flavors. Nearly all of them in the 5 ml bottles to see what I liked. There have been only two flavors that didn't taste good to me but all flavors, no matter who the vendor, is very subjective.

When I find a flavor I like I order bigger bottles. Pineapple and Dragon's Tear were ordered in 30 ml bottles.

Did I mention that EC Blends ships their e-liquids packed inside TWO sealed plastic bags? Good thing, too, because these two separate orders did indeed leak. Not much but just enough to smear the labels.

So I emailed them to ask for replacement labels. I keep empty glass bottles with drippers around so it was easy to transfer the liquid. I just wanted the original labels to put on them for reference.

They replied that they were aware of the problem with the bottles, changed the types of lids they were using and were sending replacements. Cool. Not only new labels but new bottles to boot! Imagine my surprise when the replacement bottles came filled with e-juice!

    Now that's great customer service.

Their website is full of really good, useful information. They believe in transparency in their business model so you know what they use. I really like that you can also request custom blends at no extra charge. There's a lot of different options you can choose in every flavor. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming, but on the whole, it's a very nice touch.

Their prices are comparable to other vendors, more often on the low side. The choices of flavors is amazing! They even have roast beef, pizza, butter, pepper, Worchestershire sauce and a variety of other...unusual...flavors. I haven't been brave enough to try those yet. Maybe someday.

All in all, I can't recommend their site enough. There's oodles of information about nearly everything e-liquid related on their site and their customer service is just amazing.

If you decide to try them out, I'd love to hear your experiences.

Lyrical reacted to Uma in I have been vaping for about a year and cut down to 4 to 5 cigs per day but still struggling to go beyond that
First off, Congrats for switching (mostly) over to vaping!
I agree with the great advice the others gave you and have only a few other things to share.
You might not be getting enough nicotine, as suggested, and I would seriously picking up a stronger dosage. Many of us, in fact, use several different mods, with several different mg levels in them. For instance, when you have to go hours between vapes, a 36mg in one of your setups will help you get through those dreaded hours. I have to use 50/50 vg/pg mix or else the TH is too strong in mostly PG version. Everyone is different. If your 36pg is too strong, then pick up some 36mg VG and mix until you find your comfort spot. (90/10, 80/20, 70/30, etc). Devote this one to break times and so forth where you can't vape like you wish to.

Meanwhile, In another setup, use your 11mg for the steady vaping sessions. You can improve the hit by improving your vaping gear. For instance, if you are vaping a good but gentle Joye 510 or 808, I would save that for night time use when you're relaxing and chilling and pick up a Vision Spinner for typical day usage. The gentle batterys give you approx 3.2--3.7v of power, but the Spinner can go from 3.7 -- 4.8v of power which really helps. The draws we take are also shorter with these. With the gentle batteries we have to take long slow draws (great during chilling time), because the juice takes longer to heat up. With the Vision Spinner type of battery we can take short draws because the battery is able to heat the juice quicker. It's the difference between low and high heat on your stove when you're trying to boil water.

Those 4 or 5 cigs that won't leave you are the challenging ones. You'll have to challenge yourself to omit one of them at a time and super celebrate when you finally do it. The hardest one for me was the bedtime one. Even though I had gone all day without a smoke, I couldn't bear the thought of not having a cig for such an overnight length of time. Many a night I stayed wide awake vaping, on purpose, just so I wouldn't have to have that nitey cig. I roll my eyes at myself, but that was me. I accepted me and I challenged me eventually. And when I finally went to bed, without my nitey cig, I awoke in the morning with the flavor of Apples dancing on my tongue. Wow. The first one in the morning was suddenly replaced by more of that wonderful apple flavor that only my apple ejuice provided. I accidentally killed 2 birds with one challenge.

You'll get there. It's a matter of finding the right, for you, setup and juice. You have the "want to", now it's just a matter of the "can do". In the meantime, count all the cigs you have NOT smoked... yeh... pretty darn sweet. But I know it can be sweeter, just don't give up yet. Best of luck to you!

    1. The comradery of the folks on this forum. It really helps.
    2. I really like (love) a certain lady who sent me a load of juice 15 bottles plus in various types. She took the time to care if I made it.
    3. She also sent me T2's, CE5's, CE4's, and other clear's.
    5. She also sent me tips and LR carts and an Ego purple battery! With charger!
    6. She also decided to ship it overnight mail at considerable expense to be sure I got it quick.
    7. I really like not jonesing for once for nic. I was not getting enough and now I am.
    8. I really like that I now know I can make it and be comfortable doing it!
    9. I also like that I have been charged with paying this forward to another when I time is right!

    * Not smoking analogs
    * Can take giant face hits without the eye burn
    * Sounds like pop rocks which brings back child like feelings that warm the soul and dwarf the need for smoke.
    * Can place in pocket immediately after vaping.

I'm 14 days in. A bit whacked and moody but so pleased. Compared to nic gum, patches or pills....this really is working well!

I'm still not vaping in public all that much yet. I guess I'm still used to not smoking at all, that a lot of times, it doesn't even occur to me to try vaping just anywhere. The most public place I've vaped so far was just last weekend at the Susan B. Komen Race For The Cure. Before the race, I was a little hesitant to vape, but knew I "needed" to so I did. After the race, it didn't matter to me, I wasn't shy at all, I don't think I even thought about it, I just did...I guess I was just happy to have finished the race and still be alive!! LOL

Also, in the mail today came the ProTank from Vapelite. This thing is just as heavy. It came with a thread cover and one extra coil. *falls over laughing* I put the ProTank and thread cover on my 1300 mAh Spinner and it looks ridiculous! And I could hurt someone with it if I used it as a club.

Oh. I need to put juice in it and use it now? Really??? I'm not sure I want to put extra liquid weight in it... ^___________^
