While I have yet to try this method, logically it makes sense. I don't clean atomizers anymore but when I did, water was a pain to get out of the atomizer. Even once the atomizer was "dry" it took about 20 minutes before it start working well again. A PG bath would give you an instant working atomizer. After all, it was designed to heat up PG.
My ultimate suggestion though, replace your atomizer every month if affordable. Some suppliers now sell Joye 510 atomizers in bulk @ 5 bucks for 25. I have to stress, if you do clean your atomizer to take caution when using hot objects. One member regrettably already burned herself. The cost in medical bills far outweighs the cost of replacement atomizers.

Wow so a supplier finally admitted it. This type of thing really pisses me off. Especially because the unknowing customer is screwed.
He's basically saying this. "Yes we sell knock offs from another company but it doesn't matter because Chinese law doesn't recognize copyright"
Point #1: It wouldn't be copyright, it would be patent. Copyright protects your published writing material. Not physical hardware.
Point #2: If you can't afford to purchase genuine Joye get out of the business or don't advertise it as Joye. It took us MONTHS to save up to order from Joye Tech. They are the best, the make the best, don't buy fakes and say it doesn't matter. Sell it as a 510 not a Joye 510.
What he's saying is this, I'm going to put Ferrari emblems on a Corvette. But it's ok because there is no trademarks on it. I also know your a dumb customer looking for a Ferrari and will purchase this from me anyway.
Ditch this guy and don't let anyone else buy from him. If your going to start a business do it right. Don't screw new comers with some BS story line. If you can't afford it, sell hot dogs instead. It's not fair to the customer.

Yup that's a fake (Good eye!) Anytime a kit sells for around 30-40 bucks. 90% of the time it's a knock off Joye.
If the supplier wasn't selling it has a Joye model, well there isn't much you can do. If he was selling it as a Joye, I'd raise some hell

Thank You! I'd invite you all over for dinner if I thought we had enough food

Good looking but you are correct the short tips do not work well on the eGo's due to the lack of air flow.

It's a KR808 model from Smoke Stick. Talk about awesome free advertising.

DENVER
An age limit for electronic cigarettes has won initial approval in the Colorado Senate.
The bill makes it illegal to sell the battery-powered nicotine delivery devices to minors. The e-cigarette age limit has already passed the House.
Electronic cigarettes are billed as cessation aids, but critics worry that the smokeless devices mimic cigarettes and cigars and shouldn't be legal for minors.
The Senate made a minor change to the bill before backing it on Friday. The bill faces another vote in the Senate before it can head back to the House.
Most e-cigarette manufacturers say they already prohibit sales to minors, but several states are considering age limits because the devices are widely available on the Internet and at mall kiosks.

Yes. It usually lasts upwards of 8-12 hours when vaping heavily.

Just following up with you again...

The gold bands are created by Joye Tech and tend to work much better IMO.

I responded to your ticket on the 14th of March at 05:23 PM. (One hour after you created the ticket) If you click the support system link above you'll see I updated
I also answered you PM and Email but received no response from you.

You should really only clean an atomizer if it stops working. It often causes more hassle than it's worth. IMO an atomizer should be changed every month or when the flavor drops and or the throat hit becomes to harsh.

Thank you Gary I appreciate that

Ecigs to come from China but the profit created does stay in the states. It also helps supports this community and I thank everyone who supports not only Vapor Talk but any US supplier.
US suppliers use the post office which helps keep their job, purchase bags and tape etc which helps someone else keep their job, we pay servers costs which helps some tech keep his job. When you purchase direct sure you save a few bucks but I mean seriously, you where spending far more on cigarettes. But people will choose to do what they do.
I can say that the more customers shop China the harder it is to stay afloat. But hey that's economics. I can say if we have another large seizure or customers keep moving over to the Chinese sites, I've already told my wife I'll step out and shut this place down. Last year we lost so much money I had to cash out my 401k to keep this place afloat.
Someone mentioned "cartomziers are just rebranded.." Well so is your refrigerator, iPod, cellphone computer etc. That's how business works. The difference is that consumers have more information in this industry than others thanks to forums like this. We don't sensor it. Though we could if we wanted to. When you purchase toilet paper for 5 bucks at Wal Mart, trust me, Wal Mart didn't pay more than 1 dollar for that bag. The mark up pays for all the overhead and of course profit.
e liquid that costs a "whopping" 7 bucks and last 3-4 days even longer for some. A pack of cigarette is 6 bucks and lasts maybe a day....

Moving to Noobie section also.

The 3.0 is a standard cartomizer, the 2.0 is a low resistance cartomizer. The lower the number the hotter and fast it will burn. You'll get more vapor with the 2.0 but less flavor, you'll get more flavor but less vapor from the 3.0

I wouldn't worry about that to much. But if the red light on your PT goes out, unplug it as there isn't much reason to keep it plugged in honestly. The nice thing about the PT is that when the battery does die out, you can plug up and vape without having to wait for the charge.
-
Yea sticking to the basics helps save a little.
If you want to send over your information I'd be more than happy to replace the battery

Yes I'm already getting a hold of contacts to verify the legitimacy of this. Keep in mind that even if this is the case, the FDA at some point will probably start using the Substantial Equivalence to regulate e cigarettes. More on this here: http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/ResourcesforYou/ForIndustry/ucm238891.htm
That's the latest in the FDA's hell bent mission to stop e cigarettes.
