  1. Janty batteries and Joye Tech batteries are..... the same. There is literally no difference. Janty created many of the popular models that have become todays' standard. They really don't get credit for what they've done.

It's like Ford and Lincoln. Same cars - one has more chrome. In this case, Janty has prettier boxes. Janty usually creates a model, Joye Tech builds it at a low cost and in return Joye Tech is given the rights to sell the models generically after 6 month period.

People are often confused about this, I wrote an article I highly recommend you read here: http://www.theecigguru.com/2010/05/joye-atomizers-and-starter-kits-but-why.html

If your Janty batteries are not charging, it's not because Joye Tech is better (they are the same) it's more likely a bad batch came from the factory.

  2. I suppose the best compliant I could ever have is being out of stock :)

Believe me I'm loosing hair by the day. I cant even describe to you how frustrated we are. We had one liquid shipment due in around the 16th, it's been sitting in customs ever since. So now we have to wait for another production run (which is happening as we speak) Chinese New Year tends to put a damper on things :(

We do have hardware that is due to arrive Tuesday/Wednesday. That shipment contains, Black eGos, atomizers, silver eGos, Revolution kits, KR808 atomizers filled and empty. We've even got Joye Sticks on the way.

I do apologize and I know it's frustrating but I'm working night and day on China's you know what ensuring our shipments are hurried along as fast as possible :)

  3. I've used both and hands down prefer the Pro Vari. The Joker isn't a bad device per say (though my Joker died quickly) but the features and on the fly voltage changes on the Pro Vari make it worth it. It's built VERY well (I've dropped it more times than I can count) and it works perfect. No issues at all. It also comes with a 1 year warranty standard. I hear the few that have had issues, had their units fixed promptly. You might have to save a little but it's worth it. The pictures also don't do it much justice.

EDIT: I checked Vaprlifes website and the Joker only comes with a 3 month warranty.

  4. If 2 people are vaping, it will dissipate quickly. If you've got say 10 people vaping, you'll smell it.

But again it depends on how your vaping too. If you are blowing your vapor all over the place then yea it's going to offend people regardless of whether or not they can smell it. I look at it this way, if you wouldn't smoke there, don't vape there. And if you MUST vape, stealth vape. (Just hold the vapor in a little longer) that way nobody really notices. :)

  5. Hi, I recently had a heart attack (I'm only 41) and decided to quit smoking. I bought a couple of 510's from http://www.electroniccigarette.uk.com/ and after a month I haven't gone back to the dreaded tree. I was thinking about ordering a better ecig to give more vapor and have better battery life as I'm really not getting as much out of the 510 as I should be, im using a 26mg tobabbo juice and was worried about the amount of nicotine I'm taking in and if it will affect my heart condition at all? as I'm in the UK would ordering off Vaportalk incur any taxes for me? do the charging kits come with a UK/EU plug or adaptor?

I love vaping and have become addicted to it! but I'm thinking it's gotta be better for me than smoking is. I just want to make sure I'm not damaging my heart anymore than it is?

Legally we cannot give you medical advice but I strongly suggest that you speak with your doctor about vaping. First off, congratulations for trying to stop smoking, but remember vaping isn't meant to help you quit instead it's an alternative to smoking. There are a few things you should know about Nicotine.

Nicotine stimulates the central nervous system. Whether you smoke a cigarette, vape or absorb nicotine from a patch, your body responds by releasing a hormone called epinephrine (adrenaline). Its effects range from increased energy and awareness to high blood pressure, a rise in heart rate, and nervousness.

A the same time, high blood pressure by itself, or accompanied by nervous jitters and a fast heart rate, can be a sign of nicotine withdrawal. So an increase in your blood pressure could also mean you are not getting enough nicotine.

You can see that either way, you risk elevating your blood pressure. So it's important that you speak with your doctor first before you continue vaping.

As for Taxes on imports that depends on each countries import tax laws. I do believe you are taxed on electronic cigarette products into the United Kingdom regardless of it's source.

  6. eh, that's a lot of money. You have to think to yourself, where has it gone from a smoking alternative to just an obsession over a new device.

In saying that though, I have the Pro Vari and in my personal opinion it's the best mod money can buy - BUT it still looks like a sexy toy. I can't sit down in a meeting and use something like this.

Now the model in the video looks a lot more "professional" and I'd rather get pulled over with something that looks like a Janty Stick than a crack pipe. If it's variable voltage, works as well as my pro vari and is built to last. I'll shell out the cash.

But I swear to god if it's just another battery pack on ebay that's been modified... :rolleyes2:
