  1. It goes quickly. But right now the primary reason for our low stock is the Chinese New Year. While the new year is over they are still rushing to fill orders from suppliers all over the world. This creates a horrible back up in production.

As soon as we get more information we'll post on our Facebook page as well as here on the forum :)

  2. so in other words some of them are not even aware of it?

Apparently not. This is your opportunity to send the bill in question and perhaps educated this person on electronic cigarettes. I've already received one response so far today.

Dale Ford responded to me this morning

Thank you for contacting our office. Your input is important to us and we appreciate your comments.

This is indeed an important issue. I will keep this in mind when deciding how to vote on this and please let me know in the future if you have a concern or if I can assist you in any way.

    Very Best Regards,

    Representative Dale Ford

While a canned response I'm sure let make sure Mr. Ford makes the right decision. If not we'll have to make sure next voting session he sees just how many Vapor Talkers do in fact get out and vote.

  3. Love reading all the nuances of the bills. Key points:

The First section of the bill adds the "Electronic Cigarette" definition to the statutes that lists all the different definitions (39-17-1503). However they still have that lovely loophole with adding 'cartridges' into the definition. I don't use cartridges, so therefore I do not use an Electronic Cigarette per the definition.

It then later says 'any product not defined as a tobacco product', which of course, was just defined that it was not.

On the upside, this bill ONLY harms businesses. Nowhere in the bill does it say you can not own such said device, you just can't buy them in their good ol` state.

None the less, email has been sent to get this one shot down!

Only harms businesses...If this type of law spread this forum would be gone. In fact most forums would close up. (Who do you think pays for ECF, Vapor Talk, Nu Vapor etc) You have to remember if these types of laws spread to other sites and countries suppliers will start dropping like flies. eCig factories in China will likely close up shop. (In the long run)

Many people seem to think that if businesses in the states close it's no big deal. They'll just order it from China. China wants big money not 70 bucks for a starter kit. No profit and they'll move to the next latest and greatest thing.

Also keep in mind this would likely be updated at a later date. These small "oversights" can be updated quite easily. That argument also wouldn't hold much weight in court.

This bill doesn't harm business, it harms everyone.

  4. Hello. I'm new here and have been finding some great info here. My question I guess is:

Will the 510 charger accept the eGo Mega or eGo-T Mega batteries?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes and No. If it's the USB charger then yes. If it's the wall charger, no. Keep in mind the standard USB charger will take longer to charge, an actual eGO USB charger will charge the battery in 60 minutes or so. :)

  5. Alright folks we shot the Utah ban down now Tennessee is at it.

This is the bill that will affect everyone in Tennessee. Let's help them out! Please send out those emails!

It is an offense to distribute or sell any product or device containing or

by the United States food and drug administration for sale as a tobacco use cessation or

harm reduction product or for other medical purposes and is being marketed and sold

    solely for that approved purpose.

    A. violation of subsection A. is a Class B. misdemeanor. Each day a violation

    occurs constitutes a separate offense.

    C. In addition to the penalties prescribed in subsection B. the district attorney

general for the county in which the violation occurred may apply for an order compelling

    - 4 - 00230034

compliance with this section. In any such proceeding, the court may impose a civil

penalty in an amount not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for each violation.

  6. That is unusual. I can assure they are Joye Tech. Remember we where the first ones to start calling out other suppliers on fakes. (We got a lot of flack for it too) I'd never risk our reputation to save a couple of bucks. I'd rather be out of stock for 2 weeks than carry low quality product.

The center pole is the tiny circular metal piece located inside the portion of the battery that holds the atomizer. (where all the liquid usually piles up) It normally has a white/tan rubber ring underneath it. The outside of the atomizer holder is negative. That tiny little center pole is the positive portion. The rubber ring is there to stop any shorts. Every so often that center pole drops to low. It's caused from the screwing the atomizers on too tight. You can take a very small pair of pliers or ever better a pair of tweezers and pull up on it.

Also if your using anything other than 3.7v there is a higher chance the atomizer will pop. Getting a month + on high voltage is just lucky :) Atomizers where only designed to last a few weeks. The fact that Joye techs usually last longer is primarily because they are better made.

  7. I hear you Chris. My wife is starting an online business and I am the one in the family who can think of all the pit falls! I hope it all comes together soon. One thing I will mention though is that you offer e coupons for 10% off and 12% off for new members, yet the other sites I've visited have prices that are 10 to 12 % lower than yours for the same thing. I'm not busting balls here, but why not offer the same prices without the coupons but with way better customer service? Maybe overnight delivery at a reduced rate or something?

All very good points. The main reason is that many suppliers like already stated don't actually sell Joye Tech products. Many do, though not all. So kits that are called "Joy eGos" are in fact not always Joye. (If you notice some suppliers remove the E in Joye) Sneaky.

The coupons are also a great way to track what works and what doesn't. We have a number of codes floating around the web. It helps us keep an eye on what works and what doesn't. I do try to keep the prices as low as possible but the overhead and more importantly the customs seizures sometimes just kill us. I think this is the only business I've ever run where when your company is moving up your slammed down at the same time. Legal Theft :(

  8. Thank you so much for the kind words guys I really appreciate it :D I do try to eat, sleep and breath what I do. There is nothing worse than being treated badly when making a purchase. I hate it, other hate it so I try to keep that in mind with every email and order. After all Vapor Talk was created after a sub par experiance :D
