Wow, that's obviously the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me, around here anyway ! Thanks Beans... I really appreciate that. And you as well egoluvr... for even noticing that I wasn't around for a while. That kind of surprised me that anyone even noticed. Besides, I was truly wondering if anyone ever read any of my postings anyway. LOL.

I know a few of the 'chat regulars' that I used to see would have thoughts like that! I guess I hit it off on the wrong foot in one or two threads with them. Ever since then, from several months ago, I was able to take the hint that whatever I had to say was pretty much unimportant anyway. For me, I often times find it hard to convey 'sarcasm' via my typed word on a forum. (Fun Fact: My first/only forum to ever join... not so good at using proper 'emoticons' so as not to offend anyone). Therefore, I'm going to go ahead and declare myself as 'the local jerk' around here, although it's just my personality/sense of humor that is not being seen.

Oh hey, Mark and Noxy: I know you guys mean well and just want the best for the forum and it's people... so it's all good and I totally understand how/why you feel the way you do towards me. Honestly, it's no big deal... I haven't lost any sleep over it as of yet. Besides, I still like both of your butts anyway, no matter what horrible things you say about me... so I'm ok with it.

OH CRAP... I FORGOT TO USE 'EMOTICONS' AGAIN. So I will just add them all here at the end so that you will know what my real/true feelings were/are as I'm typing this post. (I want there to be no mistake in realizing that I'm just havin' a little fun here... it's been a while for me since being away) You know how I really feel about you guys anyway!:

Oh yay.... I'm kinda back! At least for the time being. I kinda just figured everyone would actually enjoy this place more if I weren't here making posts that end up under somebody's thin skin. But hey, what do ya expect I guess, it's part of most/all forums I have a feeling. There's always gotta be one in the crowd to keep things interesting I guess! Thanks for even noticing I have been MIA for a while... that means alot.

And I have also found, that most of the cry babies that make a scene about me vaping (which has happened maybe once or twice), are current analog smokers... because they can't enjoy their cancer sticks inside like I can my e-cig. LMAO.

100% NORMAL for people to realize one day that the simple Boge cartomizer is all they really need and that it reigns supreme still !! It just takes some people longer than others to finally reach that point in their 'vaping lives' to realize. No worries though... you made it where you needed to be!

Being that cartos are so much cheaper... you are going to have to expect some of the little issues with them. I have tried every damn carto out there and I STILL KEEP COMING BACK to my trusty Boge 510s!! I do have some 306 cartos on order and should be getting them any day now. I'm stoked to try them out since they need no adapters, etc. to use with my 510 fittings. I just think we are still a ways out on that "perfect cartomizer"... but I guess the only way to get there is to keep trying new versions! FOR ME, nothing performs enough better than a Boge 510 to warrant switching over yet... unless these 306 cartos have the right amount of filler to suit my needs. We shall see!

By the way... don't forget that PG based juices tend to work better in mainly all of the cartos out there. I know some folks do blends with success... I just can't speak for that since I'm 100% PG.

I find myself using up my leftover "just ok" juices when mixing up other stuff. If I think that it will not affect the flavor in a negative way I will often times blend it in to the new ones. Although strong flavors like clove may be sitting alone in my juice box for a long time since it is a strong flavor that will most definitely shine through in whatever it's mixed with. As far as storage... we all start small it seems and end up upgrading to larger "tackle box" type storage containers as they work really well keeping everything organized nicely. I have a couple of small storage containers that have now been upgraded to larger sizes. The only real negative I've found using a tackle box, is that I got that funny little laugh from my wife in the beginning, when I was spending hours just organizing stuff and making sure it was all nice and neatly placed. I guess I kinda looked like a little kid on Christmas... all excited to play with my new toys and stuff. The "new" wears off in due time though... just so ya know.

Just a note from another fairly new 'MIXOLOGIST'... I started with a bunch of different Loranns flavors and went through all of them. I wasn't really THAT impressed so I started doing some research and found Perfumer's Apprentice. I have tried a BUNCH of different ones from them already (just ordered another 20 flavors lastnight) and found them to be a bit weaker... but a lot better quality. Nearly every single Loranns I had was some shade of 'dark'. Almost every single PA flavoring I got in my first batch were clear or nearly clear. I also found them to have a better/cleaner taste than the others or something. I just found that I needed to up my % of flavoring for some of them when mixing. A 15ml bottle for under $4 isn't too bad either really. I'd say to try more than one make of flavorings to see what you personally prefer. I just decided that I much prefer my flavorings to be on the clear side vs. the darker side. JMHO.

It really is nice to know with confidence that you can make several different juices that you really like though... so it's well worth the effort you put into it. Just keep in mind that alot of it in the beginning is trial and error. You will probably end up dumping more then you keep when you first start. Don't give up though!

I'm not sure which ones you are referring to about the bottle size. But I think they all sell the little dram bottle that you are speaking of though. What I did when I first placed my order for PA flavors, was get those little tiny bottles like you are talking about, that way I could try them all before I went to the larger size. PA flavorings are a lot different than Lorans to me. I don't know exactly how to describe it... but they just seem 'cleaner' or something. It may just be in my head since they are all nice and basically all clear! I only had 2 or 3 out of 20 that I didn't care fore though. Good stuff!

And I have found that the Bubble Gum from PA works great for a sweetener as well! Another mainstay in my collection, not really a "flavoring", is Menthol. I honestly add a bit of menthol to every juice that I will be vaping! It's strange... I never smoked menthols back in the day either.

I doubt I'm capable of 'earning my keep'... but I will tell you how I use them.

Do you treat these like an atty in that you "fire" it up momentarily before actually "hitting" it or will that put undo stress on it?
Personally, I don't bother with this... it just isn't necessary in my opinion. But I know others that do just the opposite.

What kind of draw do you put on these...2...3..6.seconds.
Since we are talkin' about the LR cartos here... I normally hit it for 4-5 seconds if I know it's good and full. Otherwise, the longer I use one... the shorter the hit gets for me!

How often do you top it off? It's pretty obvious when the top layer of filler becomes dry, but don't want to "overfill" either.
I'm one of those people that tops off my carto quite often! I normally will vape a good 10 times or so and be ready to set it down till next time. Before the next "session"... I top off with 6 drops or so, give or take, until I have that nice slurpy look on top.

As far as cleaning what do you recommend?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I typically use a carto for about a week... depending on the juice I'm vaping in it. After a few days the juice will begin to darken each time you add juice, etc... yet I don't find it tastes bad until it gets really dark and burnt. I just don't push one past that point... nor do I waste time cleaning them. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. The one thing I always have handy is a large paperclip with the end bent out on it so I can stick through the center hole of the carto and give it a good wiggle around. This really helps to clean the airway and prolong the use!

As cheap as these things are, and for the consistancy they give me, I have not found anything else to replace them as of yet. Hope this helps at least a little!

How sweet could this possibly be!?! This could really change the way we vape... and the carts/attys/etc that are needed to work with vapor-gel would obviously be designed different than they are now. Wow, amazing advancements in the whole e-cig world huh?

I would recommend you check out this thread for a lot of great information. My link

I realize that you are wanting one that mimics a real analog... but please, do some research before you decide to go that route. There are a lot of great units out there... and all of them have different pros and cons. Please read all the reviews you can on the eGo ... it has exceptional battery life for it's size and is very well built. It works great with 2.0 ohm cartomizers, which is how I prefer to use it, or atomizers if you so choose. There are a lot of reviews here and on YouTube to get plenty of good information. There must be something great about it if you have to search high and low to find something negative about it. The only thing I would say is if you went with an eGo... just go the safe route and buy a genuine Joye eGo and not a knockoff. Totally Wicked sells the Tornado, which is the same thing as the eGo, only re-branded for them. There are plenty of knockoffs out there, and some of them are ok, but we know for sure that the genuine eGo is good.

MY SUGGESTED CARTOS FOR THE EGO:
(other opinions will vary on this topic, these are simply what I have had the best luck with)

You need to be looking for the 510 Boge cartos, silver threads, around 3.0 ohms. (regular cartos) (These are typically used on devices that go higher than 3.7 volts.)

    REGULAR CARTOS

And for the LR cartos go for the LR 510 Boge cartos around 2.0 ohms (LR cartos).
(carto of choice if using on a standard eGo battery)

    LR CARTOS

Check any of the suggested retailers on the forum here and find what you need. Vapor Talk store has some regular cartos in stock... but I don't think he has any LR cartos right now.

(I much prefer the LR cartos if I'm vaping at 3.7 on the eGo. This seems to be the carto of choice at this time for many people.)

One little word of advice... once you have filled them with whatever method you want... I would suggest putting the "condoms" back on and letting them sit for 30 minutes or so. This will let the juice get good and soaked in like it needs. And remember, once you do start using a carto, it's always smart to keep topping it off every hour or so to keep them good and wet.

And most importantly... if you can at all manage, you should use PG based juices in cartos to get the best vaping experience possible. VG based juices are simply too thick for most of them to wick well enough to keep up with most of us. There are a small handful of folks that don't have any issues... but for the majority of people VG is just a real hassle. Hopefully you have some PG based stuff you can fill them with so you don't get bummed out when you can only get 2 or 3 good drags before the flavor/vapor is drastically diminished. :
