Why do you waste so much cotton with this stuff, Bebop?

Welcome to Vapor Talk. Moving this to the appropriate area.

Put the SO in charge of taking the turkey from the freezer and putting it into the fridge to defrost about a week ago. Took it out of the fridge (in the garage) today and... we had a turkey-cicle. He had turned the fridge down to 34 degrees. Thankfully, it's a small-ish turkey so I was able to mostly thaw it out before putting it into an oven bag and into an oven. We might be having turkey sometime after 8 pm tonight. In the mean time, we'll make do with all the sides. From now on I think I'm only buying fresh turkeys and not frozen.

Just bought two Aspire Triton 2 at VaporNW for a total of $43.34 ($5 shipping included). Thanks, @Earthling789 for the heads up on the sale!

Pineapple pie? Never heard of it before but it sounds delicious!

Turkey without dressing is... nekkid.

No pre-cooking done here, but the oven is sparkling clean, the house is more or less better organized and cleaner, all laundry is done, and the turkey is thawed and waiting with all the sides to be cooked tomorrow. I'm thankful for having all that done and this week off from work. Other things I'm thankful for is family, my friends (both online and off), and good health. Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US, happy Thursday for all others.

And if I'm remembering correctly, she said something about having it at 40W, which would have me coughing out a lung. With a 1.8 ohm coil, I'm vaping at 7.7W.

What's wrong with the 12 mg of nic? Did you want to go higher or lower? What amount of nicotine would you prefer to have this?

Thanks, B. After a very unsatisfying encounter with Sweet-Vapes, I no longer do business with them. I'd rather pay more somewhere else.

Thanks for the heads up! Is there a special coupon code I need to use or a sale date? According to their website, it's still listed at $39.99. If you want the original Triton (with all of its various hiccups), GotVapes.com will have them for sale at $9.95 while supplies last. Sale starts at 4 pm Thursday.

A button doesn't have to be broken (split into three parts) in order to stop working/gone bad. Your Vaporfi Pro II is a basic eGo style of battery. You don't have to spend a lot to get a good, quality battery. I wouldn't go with Vaporfi again, they're very expensive. The tank you're using is either a rebranded Kanger Pro Tank 3 or a clone of one. If the light on your battery is staying on and won't let you vape, that's usually the sign that the battery is telling you something is broken or just isn't working inside. You can try to raise the center pin of your battery to make better contact with your tank's coil, but I don't hold out much hope for it. When you have a little money, ask questions here, we're very good about how to get the best bang for your buck and get you started with quality stuff without spending a lot. Your first lesson is: BACK UPS. Get them. If you have a back up of your battery, your tank, your coils, charger, juice, etc. You'll never be stuck without when something like this happens. You can get one thing each payday but it's very important to keep something in the wings.

Well, things have changed and, even if you don't want to sub-ohm, you'll still find all kinds of new tanks and coils that will outperform the next best thing. Like you, when I find something that works I usually stick with it (HH.357), but that doesn't mean I won't try something different. The cost of the atomizers was the drawback. $20 a piece and only lasting about a week with my juice was putting a strain on finances so I've been looking for a replacement. The version 2 of the Aspire Triton seems to have fixed the problems the first version had. I've been vaping it exclusively ever since I got it. The jury's still out because I'm a skeptic, but if this keeps performing the way it has, I'll be buying four or five more as back ups and won't need to stray for a while. The alternative tank part (Ronin) might be something to look into though. It holds more juice than the 3.5 ml Trition V2. Even if you don't have plans to change, it's still fun to try new tanks. You might find something that works better (or just as well) so that if your favorite tank or parts start getting phased out, you won't have to do a frantic search for a replacement. Kind of a different take on having back ups.

What Jason said. Also, some juices that I use require that I use even less heat so I usually use 7.7 watts for those, which is way less than the lowest "suggestion."

For me, editing other posts is fairly rare. Editing my own if very frequent. *is not if See? ETA: It is now 10 hours since I wrote the above post and I'm trying to edit.
-
Can you edit your own, Jeff?
-
So far so good, Chris. Let me play with the edit a little and I'll get back to you. Will be coming back in a bit to edit this post to check. Thanks for working on it so diligently! @Christopher I went back to edit the post above and got the "This comment can no longer be edited. It may have been moved or deleted, or too much time may have passed since it was posted for it to be edited." message again. Everything looked good until I hit "save" and then that message popped up. And now the page is stuck on "saving..." and won't do anything else. I had to refresh the page twice so I could post a replay. After posting the above I went in immediately into edit to correct my misspelling of "reply" and got the message again about it could be moved or deleted or too much time has passed... I used to get these messages on occasion but never after becoming an admin.

Although I haven't been keeping a strict count, I think I'm on the 6th refill of this tank with the same coil. Since the vapor production lessened slightly, I just turn up the power a little and it's hitting like it's still brand new. :)

The KPT single coils are very spotty as far as quality is concerned, I've noticed it too, B. For mouth to lung tanks that aren't sub-ohm, I'm trying the version 2 of the Aspire Triton with 1.8 ohm coils. So far, all the problems I encountered on the version 1 seem to be fixed. I've been chain vaping on the V2 for the last two days, same coil, and just now starting to see a little lessening on vapor, which is very good for the dark, sweet juice I vape. It tends to gunk up coils within a day or two of non-exclusive use so for the Triton V2 coils to last this long is very good. With a light, less sweet juice, I could imagine the coils would last much, much longer. Might think about giving this a whirl?
-
Interesting topic, B. Since I'm still using the KPT coils in mine, I want to hear what you think of these vertical coils. :)

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you.
